The problem with developing a world view from a few life experiences without broadening your perspective is dangerous. How many people are flooding across the Russian and Chinese borders. Poor people don't think socialism is so great.
Their welfare for non-citizen immigrants isn't great like in the USA. A socialist program.

One things for sure they probably wont stay in Texas when they realize that Texas did not extend the insurance part so they don't get it https://www.texastribune.org/2021/04/22/texas-house-medicaid-expansion-uninsured/ But on the downside until 2019 if you are a Texas citizen and don't get insurance out of your own pocket they all paid the penalty on their income tax refund. Ain't that a gas,,,"We refuse to extend it,,,This is the fine because you don't have it..." ,,,petty much like paying for insurance but having it stolen from you, lol sorta like communism right? .... https://www.ehealthinsurance.com/obamacare/texas

So you are saying there are those in government who are using money from United States citizens and are subsidizing the care of foreign nationals? And deliberately allowing and encouraging people to break the laws of this nation? That the way to help people is to encourage illegal and sinful behavior? And we have socialism to thank for that? And that's a good thing?
I haven't even gotten to the atrocities that accompany drugs and human trafficking that attend such activity. The loving thing to do is to ignore human suffering to relieve it?
It was the increase in commerce and the creation of wealth that affords higher and better standards of living. You don't have to divide a pie differently if you increase the size of the pie. There's plenty for all. A rising tide lifts all boats.
Did you know that reducing taxes actually increases government revenue? While each individual pays less, businesses will hire more people and consequently more people will be paying taxes. Also, businesses will make more money and pay more taxes. If someone really cares about people's welfare and believed government should fund it, why wouldn't they lower taxes?
There is so much more to say about such matters but people seldom change their minds over chatroom site posts so I'll close. I have read enough of your posts to know you have a good heart and your desire is to do good for people. But I don't believe economically you understand how.

Socialism essentially means that goods are owned by a central government/entity which are then distributed to the population. I think there are elements of socialism in the Bible. In the Old Testament, there was the welfare tithe (one of the three tithes). In the New Testament, in Acts, everyone combined their belongings and shared which is a form of redistribution. This was technically voluntary but I can imagine there was a great pressure to give where some felt coerced to give. There are various verses which frown upon the accumulation of wealth/material belongings which speaks against capitalism. Capitalism is built upon the idea that individual self interest drives opportunities and wealth, which benefits most people through trickle down economics. I don't think the Bible favors any economic system. In today's socialism, people may be seeking more than needs met to the point where it is more beneficial to get government assistance than work, if someone is strategic enough. Today's socialism could work against Christian work ethics; one example is people limit the number of hours worked in order to qualify for assistance.
Jesus said we either serve God or Mammon. Political systems serve mammon. No Christian should feel coerced to give. It's a mark of maturity when an individual can give with freedom and joy. Becoming a "cheerful giver" is not easy for many. I was one of the many for a long time. God has set me free. Giving is a joy for me now. That allows me to live in God's economic system. It's way better than anything the world can offer.

Indeed,,one gift or the other they all lay it down at the alter of God and is recieved as it is offered from their hearts...

Yes. The USA's generous socialist program for immigrants is attractive and lures a lot of people here. A jobless immigrant family can live equal to or better than employed middle class American citizens, indefinitely, as long as they're claiming asylum... from anything. Hence why caravans of immigrants come from South America and southern North America, skipping all other safe countries along the way, risking their life, just to come here for the welfare.

It's also political as well. The goal being to not only encourage immigration by setting up immigration campaigns, providing free assistance in their home countries, providing transportation for legs of the journey, but also opening the boarder, then granting amnesty. The end goal is to import voters, hence why they are granted amnesty and citizenship. As long as voters remain loyal and according to identity politics and demographics they typically do, the Democrat party can bring enough people here to outnumber Republicans, and maintain vote supremacy for generations to come. It certainly isn't humanitarian, it's really that important to them that they'd use the lives of real people for political gain.

This is ALWAYS going to be the ultimate end of government run healthcare. In places like Canada, where they advertise how awesome it would be if you just let them kill you. And think of the cost savings!!
You don't know if that's "always" the way it will be. It's just the way you think it will be and you have no ability to see beyond that.

Most of us work hard, all our lives to earn a living. The problem with the socialists is that they claim that the money you work for and earn belongs to them and it will be spent as they see fit. Of course, if you, your work, your money belongs to the socialists, then they own you too. You've become their slave.

So, who do you trust to spend your money, yourselves or socialist governments.

And BTW, there are many able bodied/minded people who don't want to work and are more than happy to live off your tax dollars, so many govt programs giving out freebies at taxpayer expense already.

I've got ability!

Barack Hussein Obama yrs ago, in trying to promote government takeover of all our healthcare with Obamacare, in addressing the unsustainable costs, pushed the idea of instead of getting expensive care the elderly should probably just take a pill.

We’re getting closer and closer to all the socialist systems promoting killing your self.

So yes, that is the ultimate end, and goal, of the left.

good morning,,,

I understand your concerns but if it takes on average 7.5 years for an immigrant to become a US citizen(many take longer) and they have to be to vote then wouldn't it be like 2030 or so before any of the immigrants currently applying to be able to vote? https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship-resource-center/naturalization-statistics and who would the new voters even help if looking at the maps where they were naturalized?

All I can say is you're fearmongering and misquoting what Obama actually said. You need to get your facts straight before you come on here making false statements and stirring up paranoia. Do yourself a favor: turn off Fox News and Alex Jones for six months and notice how much more clearly you see things.

Yep it's shocking to see how they crunch the actual numbers but anyone on Social Security is considered to be "on walfare" and anyone who files for SS benefits when they retire are on walfare https://www.forbes.com/sites/patric...-social-security-its-welfare/?sh=7f1359636fe6 And there is no maximum income as to who can get SS benefits millionaires, billionaires ect. who receive SS benefits are still technically on walfare... https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/retirement/planner/whileworking.html

Predictive programming all the way back in 1973.

NY Governor Kathy Hochul just signed into law the right to human compost your loved one’s remains:

So in essence, just like in Soylent Green, they kill you, then they feed you to other people:

Hey! Great job refuting the facts in the article and Obamas statement. About as effective as trying to refute eternal security.

BTW, although I occasionally watch online a Tucker segment, I NEVER watch Fox News. And once in a ble moon I lol watch a Jones segment.

So wrong again cadet!

Your assumptions about me are as kooky as your discernment!

You refuted NOTHING I posted, yet somehow say I’M the delusional one? Lol!

Haha!!

You constantly say stuff like that. “This debate solves nothing and has been done over and over “. And then you proceed to make 50 posts debating what you said was already done.

BTW. I didn’t say refute ME. I said the information in the article.

Reading comprehension son.
