God's power and creativity were shown during the creation. God is LIGHT and in Him is no darkness at all. The Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of Light. Light is not only supernatural (when emanating from God and Christ, also called their "glory"), but there is cosmic light (as on the first day of creation), and there is natural light (as on the fourth day of creation). Light represents holiness, righteousness, and moral and spiritual perfection. And Jesus said " I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD". Those who do not follow Christ walk in spiritual darkness.
