Sad to see that the Russian troll community is spreading misinformation here.

I have no issue with anyone who wants to support Ukraine, has joined up for the military and is going or at the least sending their kids. I believe anyone who is promoting this war needs to have skin in the game. The first thing I want to hear from some senator saying we need to send $120 billion to Ukraine without any accountability is which of his kids are in the army and going over there to fight.

However, if you live in a gated community, stand to make billions in orders from the military and none of your family members are in the army I'm not interested in your opinion.
In the American military parents nor soldiers choose to go to war. They're sent to a conflict the president and Congress justify as worthy of their sacrifice.

If those soldiers ordered to go then refuse they're court-martialed.
You have no rights in the U. S military. Certainly not the right to refuse ordered service.

If it were a law the Senate majority leader and president had to lead our military into war from the front line there would be no war.

Oh, I missed that, have they declared war on Russia in Congress?

Congress holds the purse strings.
Look up how the American system of government works in such matters as either declaration to go to war or to give support to conflict outside our borders. I think you'll find it fascinating.

So is that a yes or a no? Have we declared war on Russia?

How about this for a law, you cannot send $10 billion worth of arms to an active conflict without first declaring war or without first having a treaty that says the US is an ally in the event of war.

Before we send American troops to die in this war shouldn't congress be obligated to tell them why?

There is a treaty in place.
The U.S.-Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership. It was signed in Washington D.C on November 10,2021 by then Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

Like I said, you should study. You'll find it fascinating I think.

That treaty does not say that if Ukraine is attacked we will be an ally.

Again, before going to war I think we should require a declaration of war, and to be more specific we should argue that $10 billion is the limit in military aid to any country that is actively engaged in war without first having a military alliance or a declaration of war.

Blinken, Sullivan and Nuland started something they can never finish. Not that they cared very much one way or another. Certainly not about Ukranian or Russian lives. It's just business as usual to them.

They don't believe in hell......yet. But they will.
