I see, well regardless I prayed for him but there is one thing I know about prayer it rarely works the first time. He can be healed but it is going to be a group effort you can't just say a prayer and expect results you have to be persistent and you have to be serious about it you have knock at that until he can't stand it anymore and opens heavens gates.

The question is how badly do we want to see him again?
i don’t know brother I think what matters is whether God calls a person home or not sometimes we don’t want to let go of someone but Jesus is welcoming them home so it’s not going to matter if we don’t want them to go. I believe God has a moment for each of us when he will call us home

prayer is always powerful and effective but we don’t always get what we want because God has a better plan for each of us that we all don’t know about only he does sometimes

If our dear brother has left this world I’m very confident in my own heart that he is with Jesus , and I don’t think an army of people wanting him on earth would make even a dent in his glory and joy now or get him to want to come back into this world

“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭14:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

On the other hand if our brother is healthy and well and still with us , if the lord saw fit to heal him for his glory hallelujah and I’d bet he’s somewhere sharing Jesus with someone in perfect health

“Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:6, 8‬ ‭

This world is only the first stage of life when we see it as more than that it’s sad to see someone leave but knowing that it’s a doorway into Jesus kingdom puts a different understanding on death

My friend I say this with all due respect but that is the wrong kind of thinking. See we dont know if he is dead or alive and if we are talking about getting serious about prraying for him or not you have to consider what if God is calling us to do just that? You have to be kingdom minded and kingdom minded is about the life and resurrection, what can cancer do? What power does it have that our God can't overcome? But he likes to use us after all he is a our brother and you don't just let a brother suffer if you can bring him out of his desease.

To be honest I think the thinking that it may be God's will to take him home is an excuse we have all the authority in Christ he is the God of life not death

I'm creeping up on my 10th anniversary here where in 2014 a search retrieved a post by "Therupon" who was expressing his opinion on the thread "no rapture" something or other along that thought. He had an online ministry in Florida called Fishhouse Ministries and several YouTube videos that I was intrigued enough in the subject that I watched. His name was Skolfield, and it was not long after I had joined cc in order to comment to his thread that he posted about getting old and being tired. So, I wasn't here near long enough before he passed away for him to be familiar with me or even realize how refreshing it was to me that I'd found a likeminded believer in the world, regarding that particular understanding anyway.
And since, I've encountered many more personalities that have been a sort of therapy experience, albeit somewhat oddly unorthodox, and it has been well worth the insults that go with the territory.

I was thinking about him just the other day too. If a few have then maybe it is time for prayer for him. Maybe he is asking God for people to pray for him and God is laying him on our minds to do so? Regardless, I pray for his healing and deliverance and for God to help him with whatever he is in need for in the name of Jesus.

I joined cc when I was saved in 2012 in my life I had no one no church nothing to help me grow as a new believer and I met lots of different people on here and I made connections and bonds I made I suppose you can call frenemies they were freinds in the sense they meant well but they were actually very damaging to my spirit

But this place has basically groomed me my entire faith even when I saw war among each other I learned how not to be but people don't realize the influence and power each of their posts have and how their personalities as a whole even though mixed are the reason people like me made it this far

Ahwatukee? I hope he is OK. Anybody?
I am worried about dear Magenta
Praying for both of them:

"For our light affliction, which Is But For A Moment, worketh
for us a Far More Exceeding And Eternal weight of glory; While
we look Not at the things which are seen, but at the things
Which Are Not Seen: for the things which are seen [are]
temporal; but the things Which Are Not Seen Are Eternal!"
(2 Corinthians 4:17-18)

+

"And He {CHRIST} Said Unto me, MY GRACE Is Sufficient For
thee
: For MY Strength Is Made Perfect in weakness. Most gladly
therefore will I rather glory {cp} in my infirmities, that The
Power Of CHRIST
May Rest Upon me!"
(2 Corinthians 12:9) {cp 2 Corinthians 11:23-30}

“My friend I say this with all due respect but that is the wrong kind of thinking. See we dont know if he is dead or alive”

yeah that’s why i did if he’s home or if he’s still with his somewhere either way

brother he requested prayer about a year ago I took it seriously then and have prayed for him quite a bit . Remember I told you I had some conversations with him privately ? It was regarding his situation so I’m pretty comfortable with what I said and the thinking I have concerning our dear brother

He as well as I understood this world is temporary it’s a pathway home for believers. I’m old so I’ve prayed a lot of times for folks and sometimes they get well by Gods Will , other times they go home to live with thier savior and lord who loves them far more than we can ever reach.

sometimes toddlers pass away against all their lives ones wishes and prayers that’s not because the people aren’t taking prayer seriously it’s because Gods Will is better than ours and we only see in part only understand so far , so much

The righteous are sometimes taken away from earth to keep them from the evil that is impending

every christian should understand this part of this life in this world

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:13-14, 16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Consider brother when a Christian dies , even if we don’t want it to happen even if we pray hard , when they die to us it’s we who are sad and desperate for them , on thier end they are present with Jesus in his kingdom they are witnessing glories we can’t properly even imagine

those people are here brother

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.

( and we are still here )

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

to be clear brother he may be alive and well on earth I don’t know havent head anything from him in more than a year or he may be alive and victorious in the kingdom of heaven shouting salvation

Either way he’s in my prayers and I trust that Gods plan for him is better than anything I can create so my prayers are for the Will of God to be done

Death for a believer is not what people sometimes think it is Jesus solved that issue a long time ago

L I’m saying brother is if he’s home with Jesus praise the lord if he’s still here sharing Jesus with someone praise the lord nd if the lord sees fit to let me in when it’s my time , I’m truly convinced that our dear brother will be their as well

There are some things man doesn’t control the natural lifespan is one of those things that only God determines

i don’t know brother whether he’s here or there and never claimed to know what I’m saying is either way we should always pray for one another

But realize when our prayers aren’t answered as we want then to be , it’s not a lack of faith most often it is that we don’t understand Gods Will on the particular matter

could be the lord just wanted him home , or could be the lord wants him here for other sixty years but death is not the end of anyone in Christ its when they shed thier sorrows and pain and walk into glory

Our Father's will is always His Wisdom. My prayers j have been according to His will always, for Know His yes and his no are both wisdom beyond my scope to attain.

Relying upon His will has become my greatest satisfaction when I pray. Praise God, He is worthy, not we, and a joyful halleluyah, amen.

amen we don’t have the perception he does we see poorly the big picture but he himself is the one painting the big picture

Only the artist knows what the image is going to look like in the end each stroke doesn’t make sense but when you back up and look it makes a beautiful and integrated image that has a complete balance and beauty

if a spectator insists that the artist makes a certain stroke it’s not going to love the artist because he knows what he’s painting

He was on my mind a few times over the past month or so...perhaps it's a prayer need.
We don't realize how many times the lord does this. It was for that reason :) praise God you listened. He does it to those (sorry) He can trust knowing they will pray when asked.

Hello brother. I haven't seen you in a while. This is your friend from 2018-19, before I took a break from this site.
