You said the following.

But what is holy, just and good remains, it is now in believers hearts, meaning in believers hearts they do not want to murder, commit adultery, steal, bear false witness, covet etc

Christians have two parts, the flesh and the Spirit.

We are in a war between our passions and desires, and the influence of the Holy Spirit.

Christians are constantly committing sin and not just the ten commandments.

Selfishness, laziness, gluttony, coveting, greed, worldliness, judging others, and many more sinful behaviors.

If you think for one moment that sin is simply defined by a handful of laws. Then you know very little about your flesh and it's desires.
You either c annot read posts written to you, or your pride just wants to argue and you claim I believe the opposite of what I wrote. This is what I wrote:
But what is holy, just and good remains, it is now in believers hearts, meaning in believers hearts they do not want to murder, commit adultery, steal, bear false witness, covet etc. That law cannot condemn you, for you have a saviour from your sin, the penalty of sin has been removed

The pharisees were righteous through the law, as was Saul?????? Saaul could not obey the ten commandments! The pharisees were full of wickedness, hypocrisy and everything unclean on the inside, and they did not even know God according to Christ. Where on earth do you get your ideas from???
That was Paul's testimony.

Philippians 3:4-6
Although I myself could boast as having confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he is confident in the flesh, I have more reason: circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.

A righteous man according to the law!

But that is not how they behave.

Why does Christianity have such a diabolical track record through history?

Perish the thought christians in their hearts should not want to murder, steal, commit adultery, bear false witness, take the Lords name in vain. Legalism they cry, you're preaching a works based salvation. It doesnt matter you tell them that law cannot condemn you, for you have righteousness apart from obeying the law.

It seems many on this website are so ingrained in blind beliefs of grace, they throw out the baby with the bathwater so to speak
There is only one way to be saved.

Acts 15:11
But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they also are.

Saved by grace through faith...a very long pause at this point.

Do not proceed until Christ returns.

And in regard to Phil3:4-6 discernment should tell anyone Paul is speaking of the legalistic law, not the moral law, for he said that law condemned him in rom7:7-11. How could he have been blameless concerning the entire law if the law condemned him? He told timothy he was the worst of sinners. Was the worst of sinners really blameless concerning the entire law? Too much studying can lead to just a head crammed full of theology, no space left for discernment

Christian history is a disaster.

Wars, Inquisitions, schisms, torture, endless theology, accumulation of wealth. There are some very wealthy church organizations.

The Catholic Church owns vast amounts of real estate around the globe. The Catholic Church has half of the world's art treasures locked away in the Vatican. The Catholic Church ruled the world for a thousand years. How much is the Catholic Church valued at?

I have not mentioned the Anglican church which also owns huge areas in capital cities in many countries. The Anglican church had a deep investment in commercial real estate in cities. Most of the traditional churches own far too much real estate.

Do Christians live by the Spirit or by the flesh. Now that's a hard question to answer.

True.

Paul said he was blameless.

Paul was also dead in his sin.

Was Paul talking about the letter of the law?

Or was Paul talking about the Spirit that inspired the law?

Doesn't Paul tell us in the next verse that he counts all those "credentials" of righteousness under the Law, as dung? And furthermore, tell us what type of Righteousness we should actually seek?

Phil. 3: 7-9 (ESV) But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—

The thing is, when I was growing up, in the church I was raised in, it was relentlessly stressed how good /holy a life we must live. And many stated ‘’You must obey the ten commandments’’ And whenever these things were mentioned, my thoughts turned to the inner me. I knew I was far from perfect on the inside. I had just reached puberty after all. And I wasn’t a fool, sin is sin, whether it is committed on the inside, where no one but you and God need know of it, or on the outside where everyone can see it. And it was relentlessly stated sin must stop if we want to be in a saved state. I tell you the truth, no word of a lie, I feared those impure thoughts when they came, I did not want to end up in hell. And the more I feared them the worse they got. I was breaking the ten commandments. In the end, to use a greek expression I became full of all manner of concupiscence. I had felt alive before I made a personal commitment to Christ, a normal healthy kid, but not afterwards. For then sin revived(or sin consciousness sprang to life) and I died/felt condemned. The commandments that I believed were ordained to life-if I obeyed them, instead brought death/condemnation, for I could not keep them. I knew the law was holy, just and good, but sin worked death in me through the law/ten commandments, and by the law sin made me exceeding sinfull. Basically, I tried to attain to heaven as Saul the Pharisee tried to attain to heaven, so I got the same result he got:
I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. Rom7:7-13
So, did you come to that place where you cried out to GOD to save you from sin and yourself and He pointed you to the sacrifice of His Son.

Finding peace as you believed on the Name of Jesus and filled with the Spirit of GOD making you brand new with a new strength and desire to obey all the revealed will of GOD?

Why does Christianity have such a diabolical track record through history?
Because this is not the True Flock of GOD. What you see is the Harlot Church that apostatized visibly when Paul died, just as He warned and the Flock was scattered. Acts 20:28-31

Which church are you referring to?

Romans, Galatians, Corinthians, Philippians, etc?

The Orthodox church, the Antioch church (the first Gentile church), the Greek Orthodox, etc?

There were also churches scattered across Europe and the eastern bloc countries, Russia etc?

There were also churches in Africa.

What would some of his readers have thought after reading those verses? ‘Well if we are righteous before God apart from obeying the law we can act however we like and remain saved.’ Paul of course would have known that, hence verse 31:
How can we presume to know what others would think as much as what Paul "of course would have known"?
