Donald Trump at CPAC claimed that if he is elected in 2024 he will be "your retribution".

Let us get this clear, even Donald Trump who is not exactly reticent about telling you exactly who he is, he is not your savior.

Now he could be likened to the jawbone of an ass in the hand of the mighty man (Jesus) who will slay the deep state.

But when it comes to salvation only Jesus is the savior. He is the only way to the Father.

Definition retribution: punishment inflicted on someone as vengeance for a wrong or criminal act.

Trump talked about a complete decoupling of our economy from China. That would be a massive earthquake to the US economy but completely catastrophic to China. Already China's economy is imploding, the people are rebelling, and you would deliver the knockout blow.

Therefore if you are China you have just been put on notice, it is now or never if you are going to "take over the world" and return to the glory that once was the Chinese empire.

He said as much in a speech to a christian crowd a few years ago. I was heartened to hear him talk like that.

Yeah, I don't believe that's what he means. His words are always, always taken out of context. We need some men to start standing up in this country and start pushing back. I've never seen Trump as a savior. I believe he won the election and I do think there should be retribution, but it will never happen. I have at least ten reasons Biden should be impeached. Doubt it will ever happen.

I think that this is true for most genuine believers. But there are a bunch of these wanna bee prophets wearing a cloak of "Christian nationalism" and for the babes in Christ who might be deceived it bears repeating.

President Trump is as angry as many of us are with this current President. Trump if you know him has no mercy upon people who have done him wrong in the past. Now whether you like that or not is up to you. The key word he used was most interesting I am your warrior! (Isaiah 42:13!) He intends to right the wrong both on him and his supporters.

This language though could also hurt him in the polls. Now his loyal supporters love it, but independents may not, because they are fearful. SO!!! He just gave his people what they wanted to hear and did it very well!! LOL So we will just have to see what other goodies he can bring to his supporters. But make no mistake!!! If he gets back in as President heads will roll from the F.B.I. to the C.I.A.!!

Always... and deliberately so. But, he doesn't help his own cause. His words sometimes lack precision, and he gets himself into trouble as a result. That and his adolescent pride are his failings. But, like you said, we need warriors, and this man is the kind of Republican we've needed since Reagan -- one who gets it and who fights back hard against the Left's fascist insanity.

Watch it, the Leftists here will take that literally and say that "Christian Nationalists" are calling for the literal decapitation of their political enemies (when the only side weaponizing the institutions of justice is the Left -- but to that side, their holy and enlightened ends justify their totalitarian means).

By the time we get to Nov 2024 everyone will want a warrior as president. He knows what is coming.

Personally I don't think we make it that long.

That word was precise, and it was designed to be a sound bite. As usual, Trump dominates the airwaves. No one is quoting any of the other candidates speeches.

Assuming you're wrong and we survive to 2024 LOL... remember 2020 and then 2022: Despite the insanity coming from the Left, the American public still voted that way. The "red wave" was a puddle. Now were there shenanigans? Absolutely. But, we need to come out in larger numbers, and we didn't. If so many Americans are going to show up to vote for insanity, then we need to show up en masse as well. We didn't.

So, beween a nonchalant attitude on our parts, and passionate insanity on the other side, they could hang a swastika from the White House, and I think they'd still win.

We need spiritual change, first of all. Then, we need to Christians to get off their butts and start taking this stuff seriously, and fully comprehend that we are seeing the 1930s all over again right in front of our faces.

As a Christian why would I be interested in retribution? And even if I did think I needed retribution I wouldn't look to a politician to supply it.

Oh I agree... but when he was talking about Mexican coyotes, the press went nuts and said that he was calling all illegal aliens rapists, etc. He needed to be more clear in that statement.

But, like you said, his words will be deliberately twisted no matter what.

And, that is one of the main reasons the Left is winning right now -- attitudes like yours.

When Christians don't take politics seriously, their country -- and therefore, their fellow citizens, suffer. Taking a politics seriously is not akin to substituting the Republican Party for Christ. It is being salt in light in all areas of society. How this escapes so many believers is simply stunning to me. But, it shows that we are naive and unwise.
