Hi and welcome. Yes, it's a Trinity site. You're welcome to post your views but be prepared for a lot of pushback. You'll also find there are those who agree with you. The only time you might have to worry is if you make a habit of proselytizing and someone reports you.

Denying the Deity of Jesus Christ is (or used to be) considered the number one theological heresy by site mods, so those who continually fight to have such a view accepted do often eventually get banned. You most certainly are welcome here, but at the same time, you must refrain from talking about this issue, which is actually considered the main marker of a cult. Why? Because in truth there is more than ample evidence in the Bible which affirms the Deity of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said, "Unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

Luke 3:21-22 KJV
Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that
(1) Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,
[22] And the
(2) Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a
(3) voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

I thought this might be helpful.

That's fine not looking to convert, dont mind a backlash - I'm confident in my knowledge of the scriptures - but can I say my opinion - or will I get reported and shut out?

That's fine - but it also says the one who sent me - with respect that does not prove Jesus is God

Hi - Yes - but does that make Jesus 'Jesus and HS'?
Maybe I may learn and change views but everything has to be backed up with evidence.

Sure, plaster your opinions all you want. Maybe you're here looking for debate; if so, count me out. I'm confident enough to know I don't have to prove it to anyone. Maybe you should forget about all your "knowledge" of the scriptures and learn to love truth.

If you want to get banned, keep arguing against the Deity of Jesus Christ.

If you wish to stay, refrain.

Asking questions is fine. Are you JW? If this is an important issue to you and you
wish to discuss it with others, perhaps a JW site would be better suited to your needs.

John 3:5-6 . . . Most truly I say to you: Unless anyone is born from water
and spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. What has been born
from the flesh is flesh, and what has been born from the spirit is spirit.

Some years ago I asked an experienced Jehovah's Witness if he was born of
the spirit. He answered no; and added that he did not expect to undergo a
spirit birth in either this life or the next because his hope is a kingdom on
Earth.

My friend was somehow unaware that everything Jesus and Nicodemus
discussed in John 3:3-8 was related to earthly things.

John 3:12 . . . If I have told you earthly things and yet you do not believe,
how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

In other words: the kingdom of God, to which Jesus related the spirit birth,
will be on Earth rather than up in Heaven.

It's both tragic and ironic that the Watchtower Society's rank and file door to
door missionaries go worldwide advertising a kingdom that they themselves
will never be allowed to enter: not because they didn't work hard enough to
deserve it, but simply because they were led to believe themselves exempt
from the spirit-birth requirement.

Many thanks for the responses and kind welcome - maybe I will ask Q about things I need more clarification - rather then debate. Anyone know of any sites good for debating - I find I learn more from those who disagree then agree

but it also says the one who sent me -
Jesus is called many things. Consider that Christ being the bread of life does not mean He is
not also the good shepherd, the gate, the door, the way, the Truth, the light and life of men.

Who Jesus is...

There are plenty of others issues to debate, and debates are many here.

This response reveals another troll has come out of the woodwork. Don't feed the trolls.

This forum does not allow posting links to other forums. That too is a bannible offense. But if you google the words "white," "horse," and "theology," you might find a site that allows more open discussion, and where you won't immediately be labeled as a "troll."

Many thanks we are all brothers and sisters even if I'm unclear as to which way is right - we all believe in Jesus.

1John 4:1 . . Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but
test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God,
because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

The Greek word translated "false prophets" roughly defines a supposedly
inspired speaker who's actually on the wrong side of the aisle, viz:
imposters; and they are everywhere, e.g. radio, television, the internet,
social media, in print, and at our very doors.

Jesus said that false prophets are known by their fruits (Matt 7:15-20). For
example: the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society's predictions regarding
Armageddon and Christ's return have been incorrect every time. Seventh
Day Adventism's performance hasn't been any better.

Well; if a religion's predictions fail, then prudence requires that we assume
its theology is highly suspect no matter how convincing their explanations
may appear.
