2nd Peter 1:19-21

False Women Prophets

Rapture: True or false? True!

True, God would not pour His wrath upon his faithful ones. What earthly father punishes the obedient children the same as the lawless ones?

I already showed you -- IN GREAT DETAIL -- that the Rapture is a Bible doctrine. This was a few days ago, But what did you do? I think you have that backwards. God chastens those that he loves, and he does not chasten those that are not his children (Psalms 73)

There is a HUGE difference between God's wrath and punishment on the unbelieving and the chastening He gives His Children.

Not sure any believer would ask unless they didn't know read the bible no offense. In 1st Thess we can all read about Christ will come in the air with a voice shout trump dead will rise we (as Paul said during that day) which remain will be change and get "caught up" Rapture together to meet the lord in the air to be with Him forever.

This is no doctrine its fact. It will happen Christ told us He went back to His Fathers house to make us a place and would come back and get us so where He is we will be and if it was not so He would have told us. Now if Christ didn't know when then He never lied. He told them what will happen but when? As He told those that asked if now He was going to rule(restore the kingdom) He said of those times and seasons "only" the Father knows " “It is not for you to know periods of time or appointed times which the Father has set by His own authority; ".

The only debate is when pre mid post which no one knows so best be ready now. Like one well know preacher who is home now said "I am post tribulation BUT if Christ comes now I am ready". Very wise.

All of these things are just as true for the 'mid-trib' and 'post-trib' views. What makes you think any of it is unique to the 'pre-trib' view?

That is a totally separate issue, and in fact they would only fit with a PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE. In fact it is Christ Himself who taught a Pre=Tribulation Rapture!

Sorry - I misread your post - read it too quickly, I guess - thought you were pushing 'pre-trib' when you were only saying that 'rapture' was biblical.

I stand by what I said in my post; however, if I had been paying more attention, it is highly likely that I would have not posted it.

Dr. John F. Walvoord is a resolute pre-tribber. No doubt about it.

Walvoord did an excellent job in presenting the doctrine of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and also refuting all the other teachings which did not line up. He has written several books which go into Bible prophecy in-depth.

I recognize that believers will meet with Jesus in heaven, but I do not recognize Rapture to escape disaster for the faithful.

If you are the faithful,nothing to you is Tribulation.

The Tribulation is to try the faithful ,the wrath of God is after that concludes believers go through the tribulation on earth and are delivered from the wrath to come through faith unto repentance

Gods wrath will burn up the earth but just before that we'll be caught up to him an all his people if were alive that day his wrath is the tribulation it comes after when Jesus comes back
