Me- Absolutely nothing. Decided to take the day off work tomorrow, so tonight is zero plans.
I am running through one of my hundreds of VHS cassettes to see what is salvageable and digitize it. Then, I chuck the tape.

Why not first see if anyone would want you VHS tapes. There are people in want of such things,,,,,,,,, collectors and more.

It seems a shame to toss them.

After this long, probably not. Magnetic tape degrades over time. I have run into this a lot with old cassettes with songs I wanted to save to computer. After a few decades they just aren't worth copying. Same with video on magnetic tape.

TV recordings... news, TV shows, etc.. and who today would even still have a VCR? Except for me? lol

There are vcr buffs still into such things. Not I, but there really are.
