I think the issue is being biblically illiterate and the solution is not to spend less time studying the prophetic word in the bible but more time.
It doesn't take a genius to understand that the rapture does not have a Biblically specific date attached to it.

Yes, but does the Bible talk about the US, are there prophecies telling us about the things we are seeing today, how about this war in Ukraine, or BRICS, how about the pandemic, what about the vaccine, also how does one "prepare for the rapture"? How do you respond to these ones who are buying food and silver? Does the Bible talk about Jan 6th and election fraud. What does it say about these groomers in public school? What about AI? What about the mark of the beast? What about climate change and the green new deal? We are in rough seas, surrounded by rocks and there is fog laying low.

Signs of the times and seasons. But no specific day or hour.

Why do you think it's the only view that makes sense? Can you explain it? I don't want to argue, just curious why you say this.
I'm sure there's plenty of discussion on the topic already. I'm not one who enjoys debating. When one takes a literal view, it is obvious, and if isn't to you, explaining won't really do any good, so that's not a place I care to go with you or anyone else on a Board like this.

Israel is in the land.....Israel God's timepiece and the Nation that ITSELF is a "sign".
.
I agree. The return of the Jews to Israel after 2,000 years in fulfillment of biblical prophecy was a huge sign. The bible says that Jesus will return to Jerusalem and that there will be Jews there to meet him, indeed they will 'mourn for the one they have pierced' (Zechariah 12:10). This couldn't have happened before the last century. Furthermore there are many other signs in bible prophecy that show that we're very close to the return of the Lord. :)

My motto is to take everything anybody say's with a grain of salt no matter how convincing he or she appears to be. Absolutely no human has the ability to be right all the time and when it comes to predictions getting it right is extremely rare.

My opinion is to check everything against the word of God. I do not have an issue with people having dreams and visions but it has to align with the word of God, otherwise I feel it is irrelevant. Also, it has to help my understanding of the word, if it doesn't do that I view it as pointless.

One thing I have noticed is there are many people who are interpreting the word of God, they are not claiming to have any special speaking, dream or vision. Merely doing a standard Bible study and yet they are accused of being a "false prophet" because someone objects to their studying or interpreting scriptures concerning the end time. This is very offensive to me. My understanding is that if you call a person a "false prophet" when in fact they are a servant of the Lord then that is what the Lord referred to as people who eat and drink with the drunken and beat their fellow servants.

If I see someone living in sin I will judge the sin. I took a stand against a person who was the President of his father's ministry, he had been involved in a number of sexual crimes and yet because of the influence of his father he continued to remain in that position. But I was demanding that the sin be condemned and a thorough confession and repentance take place.

But what I am seeing is quite different from that. I am offended at many of the ugly things said on the internet and perhaps even on this forum.

That's fine, I don't like debating either. We'll just have to leave at "in my view it's the only scenario the Bible supports."

Surprise surprise, April 23 came and went: no rapture, no end of the world. Toss another one in the false prophecy bin.

Look how fast even this demon has descended into the cesspool of immorality:

The thing is.....it might not even be "him" anymore. Creepy stuff that I really do not want to post quite frankly.

But.....fitting in terms of "end-time" eschatology, feet and toes per Daniel, Jesus' statements about "as G5618 the days of Noah" and so on and so forth.

ὥσπερ hṓsper, hoce'-per; from G5613 and G4007; just as, i.e. exactly like:—(even, like) as.
