Lately my faith has gone from "go to church everyday and I'll get to heaven" to actually seeking out God and wanting to be a good Christian. But I've been struggling with this question. How do I know if some of the things I'm doing in my Christianity isn't just for myself to feel good and for me to be able to call myself a Christian?
Hello! The word of God is your guide. If you seek God with all your heart you will find him and his wisdom will never leave you. You will be rewarded, and that includes being protected from going astray.
