I just stepped outside and it's too windy for grilling so I'm going to plan b, which will be baked jumbo breaded shrimp with homemade cocktail sauce along with the previously mentioned potato wedges.
The steaks can wait for tomorrow, and the beef pozole will have to wait until Monday since I take Sunday off from cooking.
Last night was going to be ribeyes, but the winds were too strong. I didn't think the neighbors would be happy if their roof caught on fire, so tonight I'll be grilling ribeyes and corn on the cob.
canned chicken + black beans + corn + cheese (whatever's available in fridge) + tortilla + sauce/sour cream =
homemade quesadillas ( I actually spelled that right by just guessing )

My daughter Angie gave me a Mothers Day gift card for Longhorn Steakhouse so Jeff and I had Beef baby back ribs, loaded baked potatoes, Jeff mac & cheese, Janice seasoned rice, and 2 loaves of wheat bread. We both still have leftover ribs, and 1 loaf of wheat bread.
i dined on filet mignon, steamed garlic broccoli with green beans with extra virgin olive oil, & mashed potatoes with seasoning of butter, garlic, Himalayan salt & rosemary.
I will be interested next time I do my shopping to see if this type of things sells here. I have never seen it. Just tuna, sardines and anything fishy. Not chicken or beef etc that I have ever seen. Beef and lamb are very expensive here. Everything is expensive here.
the mini bagels remind me that we had for lunch, on friday, in high school, "pizza burgers", which was hamburger roll with pizza sauce & chopped hamburger sprinkled on top.

Tinned chicken has a bit of a weird flavor to it, the turkey, too, but it is easily masked
if used in something like a macaroni salad, and can even be mixed with tinned tuna.
