We have completed the Holy Scriptures.


I have been doing this alone for the most part, for about 5 months. From Ezekiel 28.
The others who were regularly posting on the 'verse by verse' thread disappeared from the forum. I hope they are alright.

I started The New Testament but will not continue as before. I might bump the thread up now & again but won't continue posting heavily on my own. There is much more love for The NT than the First on this site so others might participate now.

It's surprising that so few were participating and missed The Prophets. (My favourite books) What's even more surprising than the
lack of interest is that someone was actually annoyed that we should be posting The Bible verse by verse on a Bible discussion forum.

Thank you to GracethroughfaithinChrist for starting the thread. It's been fun. It was an interesting and different way to go through scripture with other Christians.

It would be good if we could include a post once a week or so to keep the thread "current" in the BDF. I find that I retain more from a Bible verse if I post it than if I just read it. God's blessings to all! :)
