Unbelief? Remember, I’m the one who believes every word of God.😉
Except the part that the Holy Spirit lives in you, apparently.

And who gave you the right to sit in judgment over another Christian? Your rants mean nothing, and your posts are all about you and your opinions.
You might demonstrate some integrity and lob the same criticism at John146.

Nice one, the Holy Spirit seals the believer and leads to the truth of the scriptures.

This is nothing but general slander. Not a single person has written anything to justify your accusation.
Most of your posts are slanders and demeaning. You know exactly what I meant, yet you took the opportunity to slander me.

Very sad, brothers and sisters, that we're insulting each other! Remember: we're all Christians, here: and we're meant to be brothers and sisters in Christ!!

Which verse (or verses) tells you that?

John 14:17 supports my statement, that the Holy Spirit lives in the believer.

"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

You threw slander at the fan. Here are your words (including the grammatical error which I chose not to correct):

"It amazes me how think so little of the word of God. "

You don't deal rightly with an accusation of wrongdoing by throwing another accusation back.

Yes! Lives within the believer, sealing the believer for the day of redemption, and leading the believer to truth.

It's the truth. It was not slandering anyone. In my opinion, when one looks outside of scripture for truth, they are belittling God's holy word. But, when one does not thing they even have God's holy word, I can see why they look for truth somewhere else.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit lives within you, so as you live your life, don't grieve the Holy Spirit by fleshly living. You are sealed unto the day of redemption, which scripture tells us is the adoption, the redemption of the body.

Maybe some will remember.. many years ago Cheers TV show? One always stuck in my head man at the bar taking I think about the Eastern seaboard "If I choose to accept their offer, you're looking at the new vice president in charge of the Eastern Seaboard. She's lying. I'm the vice president of the Eastern Seaboard. Now I am the Eastern Seaboard. What a view!"

Haha.. "personal prophecy" no offense.. just playing..

The Book of Revelation outlines what the Spirit of prophecy is.

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
The testimony of Jesus was also about being a true witness for The kingdom of heaven.
So when your called to be a true witness for Gods kingdom for what ever reason, this may also be a time when you reçieve the spirit of Prophecy to 😊

You equate not believing exactly as you do regarding the written word with "not thinking they have God's word". That's fallacious and arrogant.

There is a massive difference between recognizing that there is truth found outside of Scripture and "looking somewhere else for truth".

Does the Bible enunciate the truth of the process by which the human body undergoes self-repair for a minor wound? No.

Does the Bible identify the truth of the Fibonacci sequence which is found throughout the natural world? No.

Does the Bible specify the truth of the wind speed and associated conditions resulting in a tornado? No.

Does the Bible tell you the truth that flossing your teeth and limiting your sugar intake will help you keep your teeth? No.

You think this is all "belittling God's holy word"? Really?

That's not what the Scripture says, and you know it.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
This is supposed to support your claim, "the Holy Spirit seals the believer and leads to the truth of the scriptures"?

You're focusing on the first part of the verse, which does support the claim, and completely ignoring the rest of your claim, which is the part with which I contend.

So let's try it again: Which verse supports your claim that the Holy Spirit leads to the truth of the Scriptures"?

As long as it comes from scripture. We have all we need from God in scripture.
Personal prophecy can be helpful and encouraging as you look to seek God's will in your life perhaps. But personal prophecy from another person to you is completely different. And this is where all the stigma lyes.

Because no one is even mentioning personal prophecy, just soly for an individual from the holy spirit, there mostly refering to a personal prophecy from one individual to another individual.

Which really is a delusional argument because Christians know how to test such things if it is from the spirit.

In Corinthians we see that witnesses where present when an individual was convicted of sin through prophecy from another individual where witnesses where present the individual was brought to his knees in worship.

This prophecy was passed from one individual to another in the presence of witnesses.

Even Jacob in his last days spoke personal prophecies to his sons individually and some of them where also acting in unbelief and also reçieved conviction through a personal prophecy from one individual to another to them also in the presence of witnesses 😊
