Jesus is a Who, not a What or a Which... .:giggle:
yes, indeed. but the Bible the Holy Spirit authored, the only Bible, says, "which" because "things" are a "which & not a "who". by course, Jesus is our greatest "strengthener", strength comes from Jesus. the church at Ephesus was 1 of the 1st to gather the books of the N.T. & studiously examine before final endorsement. they considered these books Holy Spirit inspired, used by the H.S., containing evidence apostolicity & revelation. the whole process of canninization did not make the books become scripture because they were scripture the second the H.S. authored them. although i don't know a lot about it, in the early 1600's a new translation was undertaken by many scholars. i believe the H.S. assisted in the whole process because God would never allow His people to have the "wrong" word of God for all of humanity. evidence, history, testimony & written facts all were present in the final decision. so in the end, if we disagree, all in all, it's not a big deal because you & i know the meaning of either application in this verse. be careful of Bibles written in later periods. they often contain man's ideas twisted with God's truths. peace to you sister!

No where. I believe that was Benjamin Franklin? I think you could argue that there is some truth in the statement. God doesn't like it when we sit on our butts and wait for Him to drop what we need in our laps.
You are correct!
Poor Richard's Almanac by Ben Franklin

It's oft quoted by Christians who think they are quoting Scripture. I once made the statement that if you look at the dust on many Christian's Bibles, you could plant seeds and add water. You could probably grow Marigolds on those Bibles!

My buddy quoted that "verse" after I made that statement. I asked him where that was?
He said, "I don't know, but it's in the Bible. It's in there!"
