I'd say it's as much true that it makes him as unpopular as it makes him popular....... He is easily the most divisive person in National Politics to come along for quite some time.
I don't know about that, I think Biden is far more divisive than Trump, he called the 75 million who voted for Trump domestic terrorists, his DOJ classified parents at school board meetings as domestic terrorists, I could go on the list is very long, not just Americans that he has offended but foreign countries as well.

The answer is clear, Biden committed the same thing, only worse. If they are going after Trump then Biden has to go down too.
So true this double standard nonsense is hypocritical. It seems these people don't care about right and wrong because if you are a Democrat you have a different set of rules. Look at the stuff Hillary got away with, and nothing happened to her.

Selective Prosecution

I know many think that the prosecution of Trump is political but just consider how valuable these documents might be, we can't just have anyone reading them, people need to have a security clearance. Granted Trump as president did have that security clearance, it's not like he has a crackhead son who is reading them and then trying to feed his habit by selling secrets to foreign countries. However, you have to keep these documents secure. Do you realize if they are not guarded carefully someone could hack into your computer or sneak into your garage to steal them. Now granted he did keep them locked up and guarded by the Secret Service, but still this is not a trivial concern. No, the issue is when the government comes asking for them they must be made available, granted his lawyers did do that and answered every request and when the swat team came he wasn't at home so the lawyers responded to the warrant. But the real charge is not that he had these documents, obviously he has the right to them and charging him with that would bring up some very thorny questions about Biden, and Clinton and Pence, etc. No, the issue is that when the government asked for them was he quick enough to hand them over. Granted they got them the same day as they came for them unlike Biden's documents, but that is simply because Biden didn't know where they were all being kept.

So I hope this explanation clears up any confusion about why it was so important to prosecute Trump but not Biden or Clinton.

Rofl you always tickle me with your explanations. I really think Hillary is the least guilty because she destroyed everything so now no one can use it. I think Trump should have learned his lesson from bleach bit Hillary and surely he has a hammer hanging around Mar a Lago somewhere. tsk tsk tsk

I heard Biden had classified documents when he was a VP with Obama. He is not suppose to have those, and also had them as a Senator. Biden should be in trouble for sure. Biden should be in trouble for not securing our border. That should be treason.

Apparently I did not clear up all the confusion about why they are prosecuting Trump and not Biden. My bad.

Let me try a different approach. Suppose you got a good thing going here, the money is rolling in, all the senators and congressman get their share and are happy, and now that we are back at war again they can launder money to pay for campaigns so you have no worries about getting reelected.

Then some goofball billionaire comes along and ruins the whole thing, obviously this guy needs to be tuned up a little, but he doesn't listen to reason. And now a bunch of the unwashed masses think they too can speak up against their betters. Time to send a clear message. Does that clear it up?

I understood my issue is with Biden, and what he did and shouldn't have had because he wasn't a President at the time he had classified info. So his rear should be in trouble as well as not securing our border.

A_ C L E A R_answer would be:Yes he could go to jail/prison or No he can't/won't go to jail.

Would you vote for him If he DOES Indeed go to jail and would that be an effective way for a president to run América ,from Jail like a crime boss and I wonder If other countries would take América AND Americans serious?

100% Nothing was done to Clinton when she destroyed info. They are doing nothing against Biden. This is 3rd world country tactics. If Biden can win, prove it! If you have to jail your opponent what does that say about you?

I think this is pretty serious for the country.

If they (the enemies of The Constitution) are able to convict Trump the country will either become a totalitarian state or there will be a some kind of internal war.

I think there is credible evidence that everyone sees this for what it is. Some don't care, and some hate Trump enough they are willing to suspend law and the constitution. But, they are the minority. Even Rachel Madow admits on TV that this is political with the purpose of eliminating Biden's biggest political opponent.

The vast majority of Americans can see that Biden is wrecking the economy and getting us into a WW with Russia that their kids will have to fight in. There are democrats and a lot of independents that see this plainly.

You even have a dyed in the wool democrat like RFK who is considered right wing. The democrats have veered way to the left and even half the Democrats can see that. My family is composed of a number of liberal democrats, yet not one peep or cheer about Trump being indicted. Their tone has changed dramatically from two years ago.

We have been lied to about who is a "democrat" and who is a "republican". Look at the ratings that Tucker gets compared to every other main stream media channel. No one watches those shows. Even if they get 1 million views many of those TV's are in places like bars and airports where no one is watching or listening. You can't say the same thing of Tucker, you get 60-90 million views on Twitter they all count. That tells you a lot. Look at a democratic stronghold like LA and the parents battling it out with a bunch of transgenders and that tells you a lot. Hilton hotel abandons San Francisco, tells you a lot.

In my estimation 80% of the country is reasonable. They have different opinions about the best way forward, like the difference between Bill Maher and Dennis Prager, but they can be reasoned with, they can consider the other opinions and they know that they both ultimately want many of the same things. Meanwhile you have about 10% of the country composed of lunatics like AOC and the nutty Libtards on Tik Tok, as well as ANTIFA and a bunch of other leftist thugs. But for the most part they are simply mercenaries, protesting when they get paid to do so.

So how does 80% look at the news this week. Biden is starting to smell completely rotten and even if you hate Trump you realize that what is happening is unconstitutional and threatens the nation. Even if Biden and Wray and a few others feel they have nothing to lose if they lock him up, that is not true of the people who would have to carry out those orders. The most terrifying thing to a president is to give an order that people refuse to obey.

If your estimations are correct then maybe there is a chance, however I have large extended family in the USA and my impression is they see the problems at the surface level yet their political affiliation is their identity and unlike you I see a very irrational society.

I do agree they does not seem to be the enthusiasm for seeing Trump indicted. I think people are just tired of all the theater.

I will vote for Trump in '24 whether he's behind bars or a free man, and whether or not his name is on the ballot in my state.

Can he still serve as President in a Federal prison? Hopefully, he gets cleared and doesn't go to jail at all.
