if you found out your favorite song was written & performed by an atheist, and your favorite band was producing evil music, would it still be your favorite song and band?

Probably not, but then I never listen to secular music, have no TV, etc.
An atheist today maybe be a born again, on fire, soul saving brother tomorrow.
Best to take all things to him, and lean not on our own understanding.

That's tough to answer. I have lots of favorites. Narrowing them down to the top thousand is difficult. I wouldn't even try to narrow it down to the one absolute most favorite song of all time.

The song would have to say something pretty doggone insightful and relevant to be my single most favorite song ever. And if it said something that meaningful (assuming it was in fact produced by a group of atheists who also wrote "evil" music) I would want to know how that kind of group came up with that kind of song.

Uh... Have I mentioned I'm a music geek? :geek: So yeah, I'd need a lot more information before making that kind of decision.

I mean, it's hard to beat Rex Nelon Singers, or Gotee Brothers, or Jamie Grace, or Nicole C. Mullen, or the Gold City Quartet, or Shachah, or...

Just how good is this favorite song if it can beat all them?

God has declared tht He will use what is not to bring down what is. It seems to fit here, but I cannot be certain. Yup, I think so.
