Given that GOD never mentioned creating a group of beings called 'angels' or any other name in HIS ACCOUNT of Creation, which is GENESIS 1 &2, and, given that Adam was the only person to whom the LORD GOD spoke the Commandment, and, given that Eve spoke the first untruth when she said GOD had forbiddened them from touching the Forbiddened Fruit, then, since Eve was deceived by the serpent and therefore cannot be the serpent, and the devil told the first lie, isn't it both logical and scriptural that Adam is the serpent, and the reason Mary had to be a virgin?
No friend ,Man is not the accuser . firstly you need to understand that the bible as recorded is not chronological. The devil was Lucifer now Satan ..note he also is a son of God . Jesus alone is the begotten son ,an express image of God the father, making him a third of the Trinity of the God head . scripture will help you understand .

I don't think so.
Gen. 3:1 (ESV)
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made.

The serpent was a "beast of the field"... Adam did not fall into that category.
So how do you explain. Eve speaking untruth, 'Don't touch' even before the first sin? Isn't her testimony to the serpent the proof she was already deceived? And if already deceived, who deceived her, and why?

Job 38:4-7 "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand.
Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it?
On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone- while the morning stars sang
together and all the angels shouted for joy?"
Well, Jesus is the Cornstone, and 'IT' was laid in the Garden of Eden when the LORD GOD prophesied of HIS FUTURE COMING, and all the sons of GOD rejoiced at this prophesy.

This is what the Bible says About Lucifer. It is written:

"Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire." Ezekiel 28:14 KJV

Here is Ezekiel 28:14 in context starting with verse 11.

11Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 12Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

as we see when the serpent approached eve, the serpent allready knew the commandment given to Adam and Eve.

Therefore the serpent was either a mind reader, or the serpent had overheard the commandment given.

My guess is the commandment was for all in the garden of eden, including the livestock.

It's possible the serpent ate from the tree first, then learnt how to speak after gaining all knowledge of Good and evil,

Because the serpent knew eve would gain all knowledge of Good and evil.

How did the serpent know that,

So my guess is the serpent was the first to eat from the tree then convinced eve to.

But the serpent was a livestock animal not Lucifer.

Don't forget after eve ate she ran away ashamed, so she lost innocence after gaining all knowledge of good and evil.

She simply wasn't mature enough to gain such knowledge

Would you post the scripture you’re referring to please? It will be easier to discuss if we’ve got the exact verse you’re referring to. Thanks.

A better question would be

Did the serpent became crafty by eating from the fruit of knowledge of good and evil? If so, is he (or she) the only crafty non-human or are there others?

Hi. :)

Ezekiel 28:13: Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God;
Lucifer (later called Satan after his fall) had already rebelled (Ezekiel 28:17) by the time he was in the garden when God kicked him out of heaven. Satan was already evil.
Have you had a chance to read the passage from Ezekiel that I posted above (#84)?

Let me run up with you :). I heard this preacher say and not to long ago that when God was creating the UNIV He stopped took His attention off that and on to creating the earth. I thought we could run together :) just playing sorry.

As I read and understand and could be wrong but for Satan to tempt Eve that would mean the Satan fell with his angels already. Just to touch that is it not odd how the Father sees it vs us? Well we know God created all the angels yet those with Satan are not Gods but they are Satan and his angels. Like Christ talking to them in Israel "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies". To think what they did before that day the Temple and what not yet God saw them like that. Satan is (maybe) one of the most beautiful and full of wisdom....yet how he has fallen

Since were running together did not Satan and Eve get together and .. you know the "seed" of the serpent?. Its moments like this... I now look around and.. seems I can't see the path any more.. maybe I should stop and find that path again? :) All playing aside. If you OP search the all of the word you will find what your saying is not written.

Indeed angels exist, but they're not what we think they are. I believe they are the children of Adam and Eve before they sinned, which would make them perfect, and not under the serpent's curse, which is the
I cannot tell what exactly you're pinging me for or trying to tell me here since part of my comment is spliced between two other peoples' comments. Adam and Eve did not have children until after they were cast out of the Garden since Cain's birth as their firstborn is specifically listed in Genesis 4. Obviously Cain was not perfect either since he wickedly slew Abel, whose blood shall indeed be avenged, PRAISE JESUS!

curse of sin. Adam was made in, the image of the LORD, which is that of man; and after the likeness of the LORD, which is light, even angelic light (EZ 1:26-28). Anf according to GEN 1& 2, he and Eve were the only beings GOD created with these attributes; therefore, Adam is that anointed cherub. To believe otherwise is to say GEN 1 & 2 are not the complete, and must be added to in order to make perfect doctrine. Didn't GOD say, 'Thus the heavens and earth were finished, and all the hosts of them', yet HE made no mention of angels? I believe Adam and Eve were the first angelslic beings, humans filled with the Spirit of GOD.

Whoever told Eve they couldn't touch the Forbiddened Fruit told the first lie, and it was to Eve, and she believed it. This is the devil, and Adam is the only suspect there is. And Mary being a virgin is the exclusion of man, for their are no other 'seeds' beside male and female.
"""Whoever told Eve they couldn't touch the Forbiddened Fruit told the first lie, and it was to Eve, and she believed it."""

what you wrote is blasphemy against GOD who cannot lie.

Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Measure your words carefully!

Yes that's what selah says 😋

But fundamental says Lucifer wasn't the serpent

The serpent was punished as a livestock animal

Carry on reading Ezieikel 28 it makes reference lucifer fell at mount Sinai the time of moses.

selahsays we’ll just have to agree to disagree because I believe the serpent is Satan who God demoted from his high office of cherub (mountain of God) when he rebelled against God before the foundation of the world. It’s okay to disagree…for now. :)

It makes no difference who the serpent was.

What makes the difference is knowing God doesn't allow fallen angels in his kingdom

If Lucifer was fallen in the garden of eden

That means

1 God allowed a fallen angel in his heaven an Job 1 is a lie

2 the garden of eden was at mount Sinai

3 When Jesus told us to be as wise as serpents he must of meant satan

4 the serpent that got reference as a livestock animal and was punished for the sin in the garden was a lie.

5 satan being bound is a lie.

,6 angels being bound for dishonouring God is a lie.

7 A serpent can only mean one thing in the bible which is a lie

8 a dragon can only mean one thing in the bible which is a lie.

But sure it's ok to agree to disagree I'm ok with that 🙂

Welp, the inevitable happened..............
Couldn't agree more. The guy who got his peanut butter in the other guy's chocolate has finally been brought to justice.
Wait...that is what you are referring to, right?
