Will We See the Rebuilding of the Temple Before the Rapture?
But according to Scripture, the temple will be rebuilt by the middle of the Tribulation. Paul foresaw a day when the Antichrist will sit "as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God" (2 Thessalonians 2:4). In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus referred to the restored temple and its desecration: "When you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place... then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.... For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be" (Matthew 24:15-16, 21).

The temple will be rebuilt by the middle of the Tribulation.

Rebuilding the temple is not the only unfulfilled prophecy regarding Israel. The Jewish nation does not occupy all the territory of the Promised Land. If Israelis were occupying all the land God gave them, they would control all the holdings of present-day Israel, Lebanon, and the West Bank of Jordan, along with substantial portions of Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. Prior to 1948, the Jews had not ruled the land since A.D. 70, when the Romans drove them out and made the land uninhabitable. Israel fulfilled numerous prophecies when it returned to its homeland in 1948, but to this day, its boundaries do not reach the full extent of the Promised Land.

The Bible also says Israel will sign a peace treaty and take down its defenses in the Last Days. If you visit Israel today, you will see people with guns slung over their shoulders everywhere you go. They are always on alert because they know their neighbors could attack them at any moment. Ezekiel 38:11 describes a markedly different Israel, "[Gog] will go up against a land of unwalled villages; [Gog] will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, having neither bars no gates." An army will overrun Israel during the End Times because the nation will be disarmed! That isn't easy to imagine

New UN report suggests LGBT ideology should take precedence over religious freedom
Thu Jul 6, 2023 - 2:50 pm EDT
A newly published United Nations report suggests that religious rights must be subordinated to the supposed rights of the LGBT agenda and its adherents.
The report, published in June by the United Nations (UN) and written by Costa Rican lawyer Victor Madrigal-Borloz, outlines the government’s role in discipling religious institutions which refuse to push LGBT ideology.

How is an antichrist temple a temple of God?

2 Thessalonians 2

Amplified Bible

Man of Lawlessness

2 Now in regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our [a]gathering together to meet Him, we ask you, [b]brothers and sisters,

2 not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] come.

3 Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the [c]apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed],

4 who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above [a]every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.

Those who have discernment are aware that 2030 is a very high likelihood the year of our Lord's return.
(Messiah2030 youtube video (and others) do a good a job of laying out the typologies and foreshadowing of this event.)

I AM NOT SAYING THAT 100% DEFINITIVELY, THAT JESUS IS RETURNING IN 2030.

But, let's just assume for the sake of this thread that 2030 is the year of the 2nd coming.

For pre-tribulation believers, that makes this year, 2023 a very special and high watch year. If we know that the end of the age is to be in 2030 then all we have to do is subtract 7 years to bring us to the year of the rapture.

What I, and many other pre-tribbers believe, is that we are to be removed, that who restrains the anti-christ, before he can appear on the world stage. We know that there is a 7-year covenant that he must sign AFTER our removal.

Well, interestingly enough, a 7 year deal is on the docket at an upcoming UN summit in September (just after the feast of trumpets). This COULD be, and most likely is the covenant spoken of Daniel the prophet in Daniel 9:27. https://www.un.org/en/desa/we-need-7-years-accelerated-transformative-action-achieve-sdgs

If it is, then the pre-trib rapture people will be correct, and if not, and we are sure this upcoming 7 year deal is the covenant, then we will know the tribulation has begun.

These are VERY exciting times, my friends. It's time to fish or cut bait.
hello, I love this discussion, we must also remember on thing, when Jesus come back, he is coming back to a bride with out any spot, blemish or rinkle, and in john 14;12 Jesus said, he who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also and greater works than these he will do, so the church must be doing what Jesus did; before the rapture, fun times

Your posted Scriptures are not addressing the question.... You said " Antichrist will sit "as God in the temple of God, " The temple you are talking about is to be used for animal sacrifices. How can that be a temple of God?
Judaism is antichrist they do not have God.

1Jn_2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2Jn 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

I am a true lone voice. One crying in the wilderness. My message to the church is

If you want to survive get underground NOW. The Great Persecution aka The Great Tribulation is about to begin.

The most visible expressions of religion will be the first to perish.
Don't worry you are not alone, this is a fairly common message among certain circles. QUestion is: Are you underground? Seems to me you are on the internet.

Your posted Scriptures are not addressing the question
To bad ---the scripture may not seem to answer what you believe to be your Question ---but to me the Scripture is from God and does answer the Question you ask ------:)

Your ignorance is showing here on actually understanding the Scripture and what it is saying -------seems plain enough to me ----

who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above [a]every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.

The Antichrist publicly proclaims that he himself is God -and he sits in the Holy of Holies in the temple which is rebuilt half way through the tribulation --------seems pretty plain and clear to me -----not my problem if you can't understand scripture ------you need to ask the Holy Spirit to help you in your quest of understanding the end times and how the Antichrist can claim to be God ------

hi

what

What or where is the 'world stage'?

TV? A soundstage in Hollywood, california?
Caesars palace, Las Vegas?
A football stadium where the world cup is held?

I think I'd like to know where exactly all these actors are going to be.

That is pure conjecture. There is no specific Scripture to support that. It would be too late by the middle of the Tribulation.

How can that be a temple of God?
Any temple built in Jerusalem is technically a "temple of God". From the Christian perspective it is the temple of the Antichrist, but from the perspective of unbelieving Jews it is a "temple of God". Hence Paul calls it the "temple of God". People need to see these nuances.

But the Temple does not have to be present at the start of the trib.
