What do y'all do when the forum is down?

The time that you would have spent on the forum, where do you spend it instead?

Me, I have the forum up on a side screen and keep up with it while I'm playing a video game. And listening to a YouTube stand-up comedy routine. And dealing with whatever grandma wants this time. Always something to do.

Online browsing for a jacket and other items. Researching if USPS will pick up a large package.

Just doing the usual.

Working at my job.

Working on myself through Bible study, prayer, etc.

Praying for others.

Engaging in some bodily exercise at home to keep in shape. The shape of what, nobody knows. lol.

Things like that.

Well, life was a little more peaceful, ( of course maybe that had something to do with the kiddos being at camp and not so much with the lack of reading the strong, emotional, grown up tantrums? :sneaky:

OH! And my house is a little neater (again, this could be the fact that my kids were away, and no relation to the amount of time I spend here or not...)

It is good of you to take care of Grandma. I know from experience how hard it is to be a caregiver, especially doing so when holding down a job, plus all the other stuff that has to be done. I did it for years. Very hard. Commendable for you to do so. Very unselfish.

I just noticed the "Speak Your Mind" thread, and my first thought was, "Oh, boy...I had better stay away from this one!"

Actually that one seems to be cool. It's like a little Oasis of fellowship in a desert of bickering that is the bible discussion forum. At least it was when I was there.

Actually taking care of grandma is easy mode. She's quite biddable.

The Bible Discussion Forum does seem to be a hotbed of contention, which I am truly not into. That is the main reason why I just became a paid member. You know, if I see an opportunity to possibly minister the word to someone or just answer a question, then it is probably better to do so privately without all of the undesirable contention from others.

I panic also.

Every time CC goes down, I'm worried that the pre-tribulation rapture happened, and I'm left behind.

Lol! And I thought it was "outrage" all the way down until I read your post, which triggered me to go back and check!
