I check out a few other sites, watch YouTube, been baking a lot of zucchini bread lately, outside in my garden, watering my ducks, trying to figure out fencing, prepping for homeschooling (6 kids this year plus a toddler to entertain, and an infant), sewing cloth diapers, organizing and cleaning the house, reading...

I stay busy. 🤪

I wasn't outraged when the first forum outage happened, but I was somewhat concerned. So I signed up to another forum, to check on the status of this one.

The next time an outage occurred here, I just went back to the same forum and caught up with some folks from here who were asking the same question. Fortunately, order was restored soon thereafter, and there was no need for my concern to escalate to outrage.

Ultimately, nothing much changes in my life when the site crashes. I shoot RoboOp an email to let him know and move on.

Between a wife, heavy involvement in my church, and running a small business (think an average of 9 hours 6 days a week doing field work and then billing, bidding, and book keeping in the evening) I don't spend much time here any more beyond my Admin duties.

Wow. That's a lot, considering your work here also. Thanks for your service. :)
