If He says dont do it what else matters? It is not right or permissible.
All the scriptures have to agree. So when they don't, they need to be reconciled. Everything isn't always as plain as it seems.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the honor of kings to seek it out.

No way does it say anything about who's company you are in. These were out in the public, or areas that the public had access to- someone would probably see you... and if they happened to be offerings in a temple; well, you probably shouldn't be in that temple anyways. It doesn't say anything about "liberty" to eat food offered to idols.
1 Corinthians 8:9...But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

Everything has to be established in the mouth of 2 or more witnesses. In this case Yahshua and the Disciples, YHWH and all the prophets all say idols are non permissible. SO everyone in Scripture pretty much....

Well during the 6th Trumpet idols are still not permissible

The 6th Trumpet - Revelation 9:20-21, "And the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship the demons, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which are neither able to see, nor to hear, nor to walk. (Psa 115:4-7, Psa 135:15-17, Dan 5:23). And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their drug sorceries, nor of their whoring, nor of their thefts.”

I do agree they are referring to the same thing. I disagree on what it means.
But thanks for the discussion.

That's right.

False. Also, not funny either. Also, mischaracterizes Jesus.

Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples: 2“The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3So practice and observe everything they tell you.

Mischaracterizes the law.

Also mischaracterizes the law. And Moses.

"These people" are the Israelites; which God became one of them- born under the law to redeem those under the law.

More blasphemy.

“The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3So practice and observe everything they tell you.

Does that sound like "letting go of the law of Moses"?

Your "lawbreaking-jesus" is not a redeemer or messiah, and he doesn't exist.
Wow okay I’m sorry you have all these conclusions and can’t hear what it’s saying take care I’m not looking for crazy arguments but I’ve shown what I said and apparently you don’t think Moses wrote what he wrote or some other bizarre logic to skip over the scriptures saying it …..

But thanks for the discussion.
Ok I cant see how anything with an idol is permissible when every man of YHWH speaks strongly against it...

1 John 5:21, “Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amĕn.”

Revelation 21:7-8, “The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Elohim and he shall be My son. “But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”

Revelation 22:15, “But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood.”

Revelation 22:15, “But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood.”

I already addressed this in my answer to you, I will say it again it not a big deal

YHWH’s Law was before Moses. jsut as the order of Melchizedek was befor eMoses, and Yahshua is of that order.

Matthew 19:8, "He said to them, “Because of the hardness of your hearts, Mosheh allowed you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. "

1 John 2:7, "Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning."

Genesis 26:5, “Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my Laws.”

also I worte a lot in my answer some assessment of the passages would help make for a fruitful discussion
You offer three passages here, each without the context as though they all support your assertion. For example, ! John 2:8 follows v. 7 saying,
"At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because (footnote: or that) the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining."

And the Matthew 19 passage's conclusion of the Apostles asking, "who then can be saved?" Followed by Jesus' declaration that, with man it is impossible," and I trust you know the rest.

And Genesis 26:5 reference to Abraham's calling and his obedience in trusting God even when the situation seemed impossible.

Thats how I feel 100%, YHWH says the Yahshua is the One to hear and obey, Peter quoted Deut 18:18-19 in Acts and those passages are 2 of my core foundational ideas for understanding.

Acts 3:19-23, “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master, and that He sends יהושע Messiah, pre-appointed for you, whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restoration of all matters, of which the Mighty One spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old. For Mosheh truly said to the fathers, ‘יהוה your Mighty One shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear according to all matters, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every being who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.”
So how do you take Moses contrary word to Jesus word ? Like Moses said “if you don’t want to be married to your wife because you find an issue , get divorced and then you can remarry “

But Jesus says “ no that’s adultery don’t divorce and remarry “

a that’s all I was getting at when we first started talking Moses words are the old covenant Jesus words are the new covenant

Yet you are ignoring what is written in the verses I quoted,

" but an old command which you have had from the beginning. " just because he says new command does not negate that there is an old command that he says is valid...

and how do you read "my commandments, my statutes, and my Laws" to mean Abraham did not indeed keep "His Commands and Laws?" It literally says

1 John 2:7, "Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning."

Genesis 26:5, “Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my Laws.”

because the next verse continues on does not neagte what the prior verse says.

2 Peter 3:15-17, “15 And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. 17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. “

Don't you see, the Law was not the true light, and it "is passing away." That's quite reminiscent of, "not a jot nor tittle shall pass from the law till all be accomplished," doesn't it?

He's not talking about general Christian liberty. He's talking about meat offered to idols. It's the subject of the entire chapter. If you read the early part of the chapter you find the reason for the liberty...there is only 1 God. Idols don't really exist. And all things are of God. It's the same argument made in 1 Corinthians 10...all things are lawful to me, but...also, whether you eat or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.

I think Yahshua explains it better than me, but I will give my understanding

Matthew 19:7-8, "They said to Him, “Why then did Mosheh command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” He said to them, “Because of the hardness of your hearts, Mosheh allowed you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was not so."

It seems to me they might have "peer pressured" Moses and he gave in, it does not explicitly say but something like that is what I think is most likely. Crazy too because Moses was pretty focused, serious and otherwise did not seem to move off anything YHWH told him, my thought is that YHWH chose Moses because he was so unwavering, but that Moses, killing the Egyptian, hitting the rocka second time and this are simply examples of his human weaknesses, even a man as strong as him. Really makes me think of Yahshua is a super impressive way because His walk was spotless.

Yes the new testement teaches ev
I try to base my replies off what im presented with and I was asked directly and honestly, the question made me show why I believe that.

No the pharisees say it unpronouncable, and made a "law" punishing anyonw who said it. YHWH says to call upon His name many many times:

Psalm 105:1, "Give thanks to YHWH! Call upon His Name! Make known what He has done among the nations!"

Zephanyah 3:9, "Yes, at that time I will return to the peoples a pure language, so that all of them may call on the Name of YHWH, and serve Him with one accord."

1 Kings 18:24, "Then you call on the name of your god, Baal, and I will call on the Name of YHWH. It will be the Mighty One Who answers with fire--He is the Mighty One. All the people responded, and said; What you say is right."

Psalm 116:13, "We will take the cup of salvation, and we will call upon Your Name, O YHWH."

The pharisees outlawed doing that... Yahshua didnt play their game

John 17:6, "I have made Your Name known to the men that You gave Me out of the world. They were yours, and You gave them to Me; and they have kept Your word."

John 17:26, “And I have made Your Name known to them, and shall make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me might be in them, and I in them.”

Psalm 22:22, "I make known Your Name to My brothers; In the midst of the assembly I praise You."

John 5:43, "I have come in My Father's Name, but you do not follow Me. Let another come in his own name; him you will follow."

Enosh knew His name and its implied it was know before that too.

Genesis 4:26, "And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. It was then that the Name of YHWH began to be invoked again."

YHWH says they " devise; plan and scheme, to cause My people to forget His Name"

Jeremiah 23:26-27, "How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Yes, they are prophets of the deceit of their own minds; Who devise; plan and scheme, to cause My people to forget My Name through their dreams, which they tell every man to his neighbor, just as their fathers have forgotten My Name for Baal."

BAAL (DEITY) [Hebrew - baal] . Canaanite storm and fertility god. The name, which means “lord, ” is an epithet of the god Hadad (lit. “thunderer” ). Well-known from the OT, he is now extremely well-attested in the Ugaritic texts, in addition to being mentioned in other ancient texts. (Freedman, David Noel: The Anchor Bible Dictionary. New York : Doubleday, 1996, c1992, S. 1:546)

Psalm 22:22, "I will declare Your Name to My brothers! In the midst of the congregation I will give You praise!"
Brother consider that your making an argument that gods true name is found here

“but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

But this isn’t his true name

“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

did you ever notice the Tetragrammaton doesn’t appear in the New Testament ? It’s because your lookin at the Old Testament thinking that’s the real truth but your arguing this

Not this

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
‭‭John‬ ‭18:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

theres one God with one name ots the name he had when he became one of us

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, ( his name is Jesus ) justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-

The only name any one ever baptized in was jesus in scriptire because they understood he is the fullness of God as one person

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

jesus is the only place the son of God the father and his spirit are in one being

a you keep going back to the Old Testament after you say it’s the new word we need your trying to make a pattern into the reality and trying to see the truth through the veil but the gospel isn’t veiled it’s God saying here I am believe in me

You ar ejoking right? Or you havent read 1 John before?

The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.d ( 1Jn 2:24) Again I write you a fresh command, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light now shines. The one who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in the darkness until now. The one who loves his brother stays in the light, and there is no stumbling-block in him. But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. "

Love your beighbor, love YHWH, dont steal, honor your father and mothr IS NOT DARKNESS.

you are calling the Law darkness? maybe you are blind, that is im shocked,

EVIL is darkness hate is darkness.

So the 6,828 tiimes He said His name was יהוה, He was lying?

Psalms 110:1, "A Psalm of David. The LORD saith unto my lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. "

Psalms 110:1, "יהוה said to my Master, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
