We are warned not to take teh mark, that is controls who can buy or sell. So, how does someone enter the trib and plan to eat unless they stock up and plan for it? Unless you plan to eat manna from heaven 3 times a day for 42 months, you might want to plan for that.[/QUOTE]

2ndTimeIsTheCharm I guess thinks that God will provide -------so maybe God will drop manna from the sky and supply a Rock that can be struck and water will come out -----as he did this for Moses -------so all the Saints will be looked after ------but that is just one solution for the famine ------will He provide a place to be safe from the war ---the fires ---pestilence ----death ----etc ----or will God let His Saints die -----and have to wait for the dead to be raptured with the rest of the saints that come to Christ during God's wrath ---

2 Corinthians 5:8 ----says when we who are the Now Saints in the Church Age die we are absent from the Body --present with the Lord ----so i don't know how that would work if the Church Age Saints die during the 7 year tribulation and then need to wait to be raptured to be with the Lord at the end of the 7 year Tribulation -----it kind of makes this scripture not truth -----and if this scripture is not true then the whole Bible is not true -------that is how I see that ------

God would provide His saints with scripture to let them know what His plan is for them if He wants them included in His Wrath ----I feel very sure about that ---and there is no scripture in the 22 Chapters of Revelation mentioning the role or God's plan for the Church Age Saints being in the 7 year Wrath that is coming ---so for me this person is wrongly dividing the Word of God when it comes to God's plan to get rid of Sin and evil in His earth ----this Wrath is for unbelievers to make them come to the end of themselves and realize they need a Saviour ---God is wanting all sinners to come to Him and live in His Kingdom ----but some will still resist His Wrath call -----so sad -----

Hi Everyone!

Just like the title says, what bible verses will prepare us for the Post-Tribulation Rapture and the Great Tribulation before that? Please no debate about whether the Rapture is Pre-, Mid-, Post- or non-existent (I'm fine either way with a rapture or gathering - doesn't matter to me as long as the Lord Jesus collects us!). There are plenty of other threads where you can debate about when the Rapture/gathering occurs ad nauseum.

Please post the verse and then do a little exposition or bible study on it or simply what it means to you in preparing for what's to come.

💗🌺🕊️🌺💗

I'll start:

When I first realized that the Rapture will be AFTER the Great Tribulation, I was honestly really afraid. I started looking at YouTube videos about prepping, growing food, purifying water, solar panels, etc. But all that just made me more anxious.

God set me straight though! He had me focus on what He instructs us in the Bible about how to prepare for the Post-Trib end times. It must start with our walk with the Lord, our trust in Him. Preparation starts spiritually, not physically.

There's actually a lot of verses, but right now I'm in Luke 12.

The first thing in this passage that pertains to the Post-Trib end times (for me anyway) is:

Luke 12:22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

So this passage for me is God telling me to not focus on stockpiling and other physical preparation. Put God and His kingdom as first priority and He will somehow provide.

I can testify that He has caused me never to be rich, but miraculously, I've always had enough and even been given things that I want and not just need. It made me appreciate just how thoughtful God is that He'd even do that to consider the things I like that aren't necessarily essential. I experienced this early in my walk with Him and through out the rest of my walk with Him.

I wonder how the Lord will provide for me and all the other faithful Christians out there when our ability to buy and sell gets cut off by refusing the mark of the beast, but I'm actually very confident that He will. For some Christians, He will have specific instructions to stockpile, etc. as He did with Noah and Joseph. For others, He will provide what's needed like the ravens feeding Elijah during the 3-year drought or manna from heaven during Israel's 40 years of wandering in the desert.

This passage is extremely comforting to me and took a lot of the anxiety off me. I really think God put this passage in the Bible, not only to let us know that He will take good care and provide for us, but also to give great comfort to us as well. This passage was like a big warm, protective hug from the Lord, telling me not to get scared of the coming Great Tribulation!

This is why refusing the mark and dying is not the worst thing that can happen to a faithful Christian. Absent from the body, present with the Lord! If you die, you're going to rest in God
Yes, but far better to just get on the pre-trib train now. The Bible never mentions a post-trib rapture or wedding.

I think there are many verses that will help one prepare…
For the 1st part of the tribulation..
Isaiah 5:8 Woe unto them that join house to house, thatlay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth

For the second.
Matt 24
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

But the Great Tribulation isn't God's wrath. It's Satan's wrath against Christians.
It is both.
Revelation 11

7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

I think it is better to simply have our hearts prepared. Regardless of how it goes down either way our hearts and our dedication above all else must be on Jesus Christ himself whether the rapture the tribulation the wrath of God or satan either way if we are not serious about him and if our trust is in our understanding of these things or the doctrines we hold we will fail no matter what.

The point isn't when the rapture is or how the tribulation goes down that book is sealed for now

Really? Do you even know the purpose of the Tribulation? And do you even know the purpose of the reign of the Antichrist?
You can argue about that on a Pre-Trib vs. Post-Trib thread, but not here. I won't be joining in on that though because it never gets resolved.
But the Bible is so clear on this, and it is so simple. The Trib is the Time of Jacob's Trouble and is to bring Israel to Jesus. The Church is neither mentioned nor present in the Trib.

The beast will make war against the saints
This is not a reference to the Church. These are the Tribulation Saints. Many shall come to the Lord under the preaching of the two witnesses.

I believe the saints are part of the church, just like the elects, and the fellow brethren. Etc…
But the church is clearly mentioned here..
Rev 22:16 (Jesus' last recorded words*)
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. (KJV)

I wonder how the Lord will provide for me and all the other faithful Christians out there
Rather wonderfully, I must say. :)(y)

John 14:
1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

This is a reference to the Wedding in Heaven, not the Wrath on Earth.

Revelation 19 clearly places us, the Church, in Heaven while He is still dealling with Israel on Earth below.

Revelation 19:
7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

See here how the wonderful order of things is made plain and clear?

Yes. This Book of Revelation has been addressed to us to show us future things. The NT, including Revelation, is addressed to the Church, and is not difficult to understand at all. Rev 19 is particularly clear and plain.

That passage is regarding the disciples, who did not have homes and lives like most people but who were travelers who would spread the gospel. They could not stockpile or plan things out like those who had normal lives that were in place and stable. None of that applies to those who may live during the trib.
That passage is for ALL Christians. If it was only for the disciples that Jesus was talking to, it would not have been included in the Bible for the rest of us to read through the centuries. That passage is to let ALL of His children know not to worry about daily provision so that it isn't a main focus of our lives. If God is our main priority, He will provide for us our daily needs, not just spiritually, but physically as well.

We are warned not to take teh mark, that is controls who can buy or sell. So, how does someone enter the trib and plan to eat unless they stock up and plan for it? Unless you plan to eat manna from heaven 3 times a day for 42 months, you might want to plan for that.
I did say that God will instruct us in my original post. It's just that the most important thing is that we put God first in our lives, building up our walk with Him and genuinely trusting in Him. That way, you can clearly hear what God is instructing you to do in regard to this oncoming event. If your faith isn't strong in the Lord, you're more likely to panic and won't be able to hear God's specific instructions for how to prepare.

This event will show who among us Christians has real faith in the Lord. It's so easy to say we believe in Him when things are going fine and life is easy. But what if everything gets taken away from us? We must trust God. As I have said, if we trust Him, He will tell us what to do. But you should also allow God to do miracles for you.

It doesn't sound like you believe Him for that, but you really should. Ask God to help you believe Him for that now in practice for what's to come. I can testify that God has miraculously provided for me on many occasions throughout my walk with Him. But I started early though - I believed Him from the very beginning of my walk with Him.

Great question. To look at it just as you said I don't know if there is one(verse). Well its one thing to say how prepared I would be but its in that moment when its really happening around you.. then you find out who you really are. Oh over the years I have seen so many believers trying to get ready as you have said "prepping, growing food, purifying water, solar panels, etc" and some moving out of the city only to find out it was not time yet. I think that's exactly it huh. No one will know when it hits. We think we know and we will be ready. Praise GOD so did Israel yet face to face with GOD the messiah they never knew Him.

For me and I always say how am I living for Christ now, today. If I am not sold out and loving Him with all my heart all my soul all my mind and loving my brothers and sisters as I love my self I never will when the great tribulation comes. How many here have had a gun pointed to your head or to someone around you or to your babies and then told "reject Him". Just to have a gun pointed at you who would you react? HAHA some get stupid. Your with your wife and two people by the bridge point a gun asking for you money.. and me.. get stupid.. I go after them chase one down threaten to .. not be nice to him if the other does no come back. The other comes back.. lol in the end I let them go saying most will not be this nice and to rethink what they did.

So you don't know who you really are until those moments comes. I pray I would be just as ready for Him then as I am now.

I'm glad that you are not only considering what you will do in the end times, but also during any time a tribulation occurs now! That's good practice! Keep it up! (y)

The rest of us should do the same!

So your saying your a born again person going through the terrible horror and you don't have to bear it all by yourself ------Well isn't that great ------so your burden will be light -------well lets hope so -----as you will need a very light burden to survive this below ------

This is the chart here ------and I don't think God's burden is going to be light here -----you can hope of course -----But God's Judgment is going to be severe ------not light ------

I get a charge out of the Christians who think that the 7 year Tribulation is just the same as what we True Christians go through and experience sometimes in this world ------

Maybe the word tribulation is not the Right word for us to be using --------God's Wrath is more
appropriate ------ this is totally different ---This is God's revenge -----

Greek word for God's Wrath

orgé: impulse, wrath

Usage: anger, wrath, passion; punishment, vengeance.

3709 /orgḗ ("settled anger") proceeds from an internal disposition which steadfastly opposes someone or something based on extended personal exposure, i.e. solidifying what the beholder considers wrong (unjust, evil).

["Orgē comes from the verb oragō meaning, 'to teem, to swell'; and thus implies that it is not a sudden outburst, but rather (referring to God's) fixed, controlled, passionate feeling against sin . . . a settled indignation

NOTICE : but rather (referring to God's) fixed, controlled, passionate feeling against sin . . .

I say ------The Saints are free from God's imputed Sin ------so why are they going through God's Wrath ----

Read the horror coming ---lets hope the PRE-TRIB Rapture is what happens -------

I say ----what is in Red I agree with -------Definitely starts spiritually -------but if one thinks they are going through the Tribulation and are Born Again ---- then a Spiritual Person would confer with the Holy Spirit to ask for direction in preparing for this event I would think -----

I say
You ----yourself question here how God will provide for you here in your post ------

LOL ---This statement you make here ------
but I'm actually very confident that He will. -------

I say ------You better HOPE ----but you don't know that is the case -you are surmising only ----

Question for you -----

So I ask you to provide us a Scripture in Revelations that tells you that God will keep His burden light on you and that you will not have to bear His Wrath alone -----

Surely God would tell His Children His plan for them during His Wrath don't you think -------He tells us in Revelation that the 12 Tribes of Israel will be Marked and kept safe ----so that says He wants them to have a peaceful mind and not worry about God's Plan for them -------

So I would think He would do the same for His Saints who He is leading into His Wrath to eradicate -sinner and sin -----

Did you know that

The Holy Spirit who restrains evil ---sin ----- in this world --will be taken from this earth during the 7 year Tribulation period so Satan and the Anti Christ will have full reign ----and lawlessness will run rampant ----2 Thessalonians 2

https://www.gotquestions.org/Holy-Spirit-tribulation.html

2 Thessalonians 2:7, which reads, “For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
Right now, prior to the tribulation, one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit is the restraint of evil.

In verses 8 and 9, we learn that the restraining power of the Holy Spirit holds back the “lawless one” (Antichrist) so he is not revealed before God wills it.

The passage says the Holy Spirit will no longer restrain the growth of evil, but that does not mean He will have no ministry whatsoever.

I say -----

in your belief ------

I don't need luck. I already have God! :)

I can see that discussions about the living through the Great Tribulation and a Post-Tribulation Rapture makes you nervous, but that's why I started this thread on how to prepare for it.

Your post shows you don't have much faith in God miraculously providing for you. But God has done that for me on many occasions throughout the years of my walk with Him. And He's done that for many other Christians throughout the centuries!

So ask God to help you trust Him now, not only for instructions in prepping, but also to trust Him for miracles in provision and protection. And He will start doing them to help you to practice trusting Him now so that you'll be able to trust Him in the GT when we refuse the mark and the ability to provide for ourselves becomes more challenging.

I spiritually moved by the Holy Spirit to pray for you now:

"Lord, thank you so much for my sister in Christ! Please help her to truly trust in You, not only in helping her to provide for herself, but to also trust in You for miracles of provision. I know you are happy to do just that for her. Please put her faith into practice in terms of trusting you for miracles right now, in preparation for what's to come. Thank you so much for moving my heart to pray for her. It shows your great love and concern for her. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!"

I had heard that it would be administered to the hand or forehead. If you do get left behind, DO NOT TAKE IT. Just get in line for the big haircut.

I'm sorry to say this but we will ALL still be here when the Great Tribulation comes. That means Pre-Tribbers will be here for it too. Believing the Pre-Trib Rapture teaching isn't going to change that.

This is why I started this thread. We ALL, Post-Tribbers, Pre-Tribbers and No-Tribbers alike, need to prepare for what's to come.

Yes, but far better to just get on the pre-trib train now. The Bible never mentions a post-trib rapture or wedding.
The Bible never mentioned a Pre-Trib rapture, but is clear about a Post-Trib rapture. But like I wrote before, you can debate about that in an appropriate thread, not this one.

Can you clarify why you posted Isaiah 5:8? I don't understand that one.

I totally agree with you about the second one, Matthew 24:4. Building up your walk with the Lord will really help us in regard to Matthew 24:4 because if we consult God first in everything, God will help us not to be deceived!
