I guess we can define what a world war is, than decide what world war looks like. Do you think a modern world war would be slightly different, than a war in the 1940's and wars in 1915?

There will be differences in methods, but it will not be different in global impact.
Warnings aren't war. Saber rattling happens all the time.
We're no longer in Afghanistan. Our involvement in Syria, Somalia, and Yemen isn't war. It's a very small presence (and we shouldn't be there at all). We should never have invaded Iraq, and after we did we should've left soon after.

According to many on this site the rapture will take place before then. I don't know if you're one of those or not.

Duriing WWII the U.S. sent supplies to Britain. I was sort of using that example with the U.S. sending supplies to Ukraine. I believe their might be some parallels there, but it was just a suggestion.

No, I don't believe in the pre-tribulation rapture. I'm believe Jesus comes at the end of humanity, not just before things get troubled.

The US Government was also prevented from sending supplies to Britain for a period of time at the beginning of WWII. I'm not sure why that matters. Clearly, that was a world war. Today, there are wars in the world, but not a World War. Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring, but many seem certain that they know.
