Another Ball Earth conundrum...

If it is true that the moon is at a 30x distance from the earth in/on a plane that is ~5 degrees removed from the earth orbit plane, no eclipse - lunar or solar - may ever be seen at any time - because, the required alignments for such can/could never occur.

Yeah, I seen the same thing in my telescope.

The first time I looked at a star at night through my telescope, it looked like the moon. I think the distortion of the star can be explained away with atmosphere interference.

This one here I'm not sure how to explain away the star appearing like it's dome shaped, but I have heard the theory before, at least for the sun, and moon.

It the comment section of the videos, there was explanation on why this happened.

"Yes I have seen a star do this. Except the star isn't doing anything. The Nikon P1000 for example will also do this with any point light whether its a star or a distant airplane landing light. When shooting against a black sky with a tiny star the camera compensates for the dark by overexposing. To fix shine a bright light like on your phone into the lens to lock the exposure for white objects."

"Correct, have done this myself with 'stars' and other localized lighting sources. It's artifacting from the camera itself. Also there's some noise reduction going on as well. "

The Greeks believed people were evolved fish that had fallen from the water above.

The angle (rounded to 5) that the Ball Earth model says is the moon orbit inclination.
Do you mean that the moon's orbit is (about) five degrees off the plane of the ecliptic, or that the moon is tilted by (about) five degrees from perpendicular to the ecliptic?

Does anyone want to go on record and state, the believe the earth flies at 67,000 mph, and spins 1,000 mph?!?!

Do they not pretty-much do that when they say they believe the Ball Earth model is correct and true?

The problem is with your understanding and calculations.
I disagree.

Have you bothered to lift a finger to look into what is presented in post #404 - to see if there is something you could learn from it?

And, if you believe you see an error - by all means, point it out... (specific fact-based observation, not generalized mud-slinging, etc.)

One can believe that the Earth is spherical while not necessarily holding to certain views of its movement in relation to the rest of the galaxy. You're only confusing the issues by assuming that everyone who believes anything that you reject must believe everything that you reject.

It’s funny that you had to explain that, but maybe it’s par for the course. Did I ever mention you had great patience? lol
