Luke 21:23-25 Alas for those who are with child and for those who give suck in those days! For great distress shall be upon the earth and wrath upon this people; 24 they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led captive among all nations; and Jerusalem will be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

When do you say the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled??

--"the TIMES of the Gentiles" pertains to what started in 606/605bc (think: Neb's dream / statue / image... with Neb as "head of gold"-Dan2:38);

--"the TIMES of the Gentiles" refers to Gentile domination over Israel;

--these two verses are speaking of the same thing:

Luk 21:24 -
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down G3961 of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Rev 11:2 -
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot G3961 forty and two months.

--therefore, "the TIMES of the Gentiles" will not be CONCLUDED until Christ's Second Coming to the earth (at Rev19, the point in time when Dan2:35 speaks to)--that is, following the "42 months" that Rev11:2 speaks specifically about (i.e. following the second half of the future Trib period);

--"the TIMES of the Gentiles" is distinct in meaning from the phrase "[until] the FULNESS of the Gentiles be come in [G1525]" (Rom11:25)--many people tend to incorrectly equate these two phrases

At this moment:

Revelation 11:

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

(Which, I believe, is the last moment when people are saved before the Second Coming of Christ - beyond which, no one would ever come to Christ after that if everything was allowed to continue as it is at that time.)

And, a very short time later - the Second Coming of Christ.

When Christ establishes His Kingdom on earth. Jerusalem will be cleansed, redeemed and restored, and no Gentiles will desecrate the future temple (to be also established there)
-"the TIMES of the Gentiles" is distinct in meaning from the phrase "[until] the FULNESS of the Gentiles be come in [G1525]" (Rom11:25)--many people tend to incorrectly equate these two phrases
Yes. "The fulness of the Gentiles" pertains to the Church.

The Gentiles have been grafted into "the good olive tree" of believing Israel's remnant. God has a specific number of Gentiles to be added to the Church. Following that the Church will be raptured, and God will resume His dealings with Israel.

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;

and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The end of the world is when Israel will be restored and when the time ends for those of any nationality and nation ( gentiles ) to be saved

I am surprised at the wide variation and variety of answers on page one of this thread.
The "wrath upon this people" and "Jerusalem will be trodden down" causes me to think of the judgements of the seven-year Tribulation. Israel shall flee into the widerness at this time.

Nowhere in scripture is there a seven year tribulation. Contrariwise, everywhere in scripture the great tribulation lasts 3 1/2 years.

Would not all the nations know the Lord during the Millenium?

Zech 14:16 Then every one that survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of booths.

The coming of the antichrist and the rest of the seal judgements happens before the last 3 1/2 "great" years. The 7-year Trib lasts for 7 years.

The "wrath upon this people" and "Jerusalem will be trodden down" causes me to think of the judgements of the seven-year Tribulation.
Consider:

--"and wrath upon this people" (Lk21:23) falls within the part of the Olivet Discourse speaking of the events surrounding "70ad" (vv.12-24a,b... whereas part c of v.24 extends on further from there);

--the events surrounding 70ad (vv.12-24a,b) are said to come "BEFORE ALL these [BEFORE ALL these "beginning of birth pangs" just spoken of/described in vv.8-11 (also in Matt24:4-8 and Mk13:5-8)--which are EQUIVALANT to the "future" SEALS of Rev6 at the START of the 7-yr period commonly called the Tribulation period leading up to Christ's Second Coming to the earth, i.e. within the "IN QUICKNESS [NOUN]" time-period that Rev1:1 [/1:19c / 4:1] speaks of [i.e. within the 7 yrs])

--"and wrath upon this people" (in the 70ad events) CORRESPONDS with what we see said in Matthew 22:7 "But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city"--corresponding also to what Jesus had SAID on Palm Sunday / His triumphal entry day (Lk19:41-44 [Zech9:9] about "the city" / Jerusalem), AND with what He had previously said in Matt24:2 / Mk13:2 / Lk21:5-6 (about the temple, etc--same as we see in the SEQUENTIALLY-WRITTEN passage of the Dan9:24-27 passage, in v.26b about "the city and the sanctuary")

Israel shall flee into the widerness at this time.
Yes, the ones in Judaea will "FLEE" at the MID-trib point, when 1260 days are yet remaining (same time-frame as the "42 months" spoken of in Rev11:2 I mentioned in my previous post, i.e. the time-frame of "the GREAT tribulation" aka the second half of the entire period, which is kicked off by the "AOD" [Matt24:15-16 / Dan12:11 "SET UP"])

I should point out here, that this is a wholly DISTINCT "SEE-then-FLEE" (in Matt24:15-16,21) from that of the one spoken of in the "70ad" section of the Olivet Discourse (in Lk21:12-24a,b--in vv.20-21 esp);

--the one comes "BEFORE ALL these [beginning of birth pangs]" (that is, in the 70ad events);

--the other takes place AFTER them (yet "future'--that is, after the SEALS [/BoBPs] of the START of the "future" "IN QUICKNESS [NOUN]" time-period we call the Trib, which LEADS UP TO His Second Coming to the earth Rev19)

I would agree with those who say the Time of the Gentiles is from Pentecost in Acts 2 till the Resurrection/Rapture, for anyone after the resurrection would be unrighteous. During this time whether jew or gentile one can be saved by faith thru grace.

How does viewing this phrase as being basically "the Church age" take into consideration the other phrase in this verse (Lk21:24c) "and Jerusalem shall be TRODDEN DOWN [G3961] OF THE GENTILES until..." (which "red" part is a NEGATIVE, rather than a POSITIVE) ??

[for the readers: I maintain that this speaks of "Gentile domination over Israel" which STARTED in 606/605bc, re: Neb's "dream / statue / image"... and which will not be CONCLUDED until Christ's Second Coming TO THE EARTH Rev19 (it involves also the "toes of the feet" part)]

Well, at some point the age of the Gentiles end and the Day of the Lord begins, the Day we seek (2 Thess. 2:1 ) But I see the Day of the Lord beginning with the reaping of earth in Rev. 14:16 and Matthew 13: 30 Let both grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’”

Rev 14 for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16 So he who sat upon the cloud swung his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

Ones to be burned enter the bowl judgements

Dan 9:24 “Seventy weeks (70) of years are decreed concerning your people

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time

70-62-7=one seven left or 7 years

True, but only 3 1/2 years out of those 7 years will be the great tribulation.
