That is not what the bible says. The bible says that when God comes to judge the earth He will judge with equity, that is with perfect fairness.

Yes, he does. He walks in the Light. He does not bank on some foolish Calvinistic notion that we can go our own merry way and still get to Heaven. We must follow the path of Jesus to the best of our ability. Trust and obey. This is not grievous.

Jesus Christ personally said... we must abide IN Him... WE have to decide if we are going to walk with the Lord, or reject Him and go out own way.

Those that accept the whole counsel of God know this... we are born again and called to... walk in obedience to the Lord and we know this is possible to accomplish because THRU CHRIST we can do all things

Some folks must have Bibles that has Philippians 4:13 removed cause they going around saying we as Christians cannot abide in Christ.

We abide in Christ when stay in that state in which we were in when we were saved. Then we surrendered our will to Christ and submitted to His Lordship.

God subjugated our will to His own will and glad our hearts were when He did. But folks do not like to be subjugated do they. Our pride rises up in rebellion and we snatch our own "free" will back.

Man does have a will but it is never free. God's good and perfect will is what we need.

See, now You and I are getting somewhere.

we have a will and have the ability to make decisions based upon that will.
to Abide/Remain in Christ, is part of the process, we actually do control.

The great problem with starting off with the freewill doctrine is Christians go through their whole life serving God according to their own will. That is why [oft times] very little gets done. Evangelism grinds to a halt. is that what is happening in the church?

And by the way I am not doubting anybody's salvation, God is very gracious.

Did you know the doctrine of human freewill is a relatively modern idea? oh yes, the ancients never believed man had freewill. It is no doctrine of the reformation. Luther fought like crazy against the idea for it was formulated by the Catholic humanist scholars like Erasmus.

The altar call is even more modern, less than 200 years old.

Whitefield or Wesley would never have called for folks to make a decision, they preached, the Holy Spirit fell and people started crying out to be saved.

Wesley was not quite the free willer folks make him out to be ... he believed in a little thing he called "Prevenient grace" that is to say that repentance and salvation was the result of the prior work of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the hearer.

i agree, people, who hear the Gospel being Preached and come under conviction will yield to God.

but out of curiosity, do you oppose, the Altar Call Method?

i think, some people, while under conviction, are deciding what they want to do. and i think, some times, the Altar Call, will encourage that next step. but it also is not always a fool proof method.
