"The Gospel according to the Mystery of Christ is unique in that it is freely
given to all 1) without Israel; 2) without the Law; 3) and without any covenant.

Though I have said this repeatedly, it is not new with me. The gem below
was written over 70 years ago by pastor Harry Bultema speaking of Paul’s
apostleship.

“He was saved in a different manner than they; by the vision and dialogue
of and with the risen, glorified Lord. No one was ever saved as was Paul.

He was saved apart from the twelve apostles.
He was saved apart from Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
He was saved apart from the Law.
He was saved apart from any and all covenants.
He was saved apart from all good works.”

In other words, he was saved on the road to Damascus according to
the Mystery Revelation of Christ (Eph 3:7-9). He was the apostle of
the Mystery Gospel without Israel, without the Law, without covenants
(Eph 6:19-20; Rom 11:13; Col 1:25-27).

Christians protest at adding works to the Gospel of the Grace of God,
but they won’t bat an eye at adding Israel, the Hebrew epistles, the
new covenant, or the Holy Land to God’s operation today.

Adding these things departs from the preaching of Jesus Christ according
to the Mystery, because it departs from the pattern of Paul’s salvation.

Don’t fail to set apart the prophecy of Israel’s land, law, apostles, and
covenants from what God is doing today.

Adding these things corrupts the Clear Gospel of Grace just as much as
adding works. This setting apart is necessary to prevent adding anything
to the Gospel of Christ. That’s why we call it right division."

Amen.

Yes... Lordship salvation 'back loads' works into the gospel.

Works to gain salvation 'front loads' works into the gospel.

Both rely on 'I' doing something..whether to get saved or 'prove' you are saved.

Jesus' gift of salvation is free.

John 3:36, 5:24, 6:40 etc.

i agree, God, does ALL of the Works to provide Salvation.

i want to bounce a Scripture for someone to interpret.

but first, can someone describe to me, how they were a sinner without God, then one day, they meet God and become Regenerated?

God draws someone, allowing them to believe in Him. They are then able to trust in Jesus for salvation, believing in Him..for eternal life.

so, I agree, and sure hope that all on this Forum agrees with wattie, that God [[draws us to Him]]

from Romans 1:

19 because that which is known of God is manifest in them, for God has manifested it to them.

20 For his attributes which are invisible, since the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being perceived by the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity, so that they are without excuse

by our limited logic, could these 2 Verses, where God shows even those that sadly reject Him, His power/divinity, and even Verse 19 says that God has even manifested [[in them, i take this that they can feel it and they intellectually know it some how]] ...also be considered God DRAWING these People to Him?

Ephesians 2 is foundational to salvation and gives a general description of salvation. Acts 2 is a great example of how this actually happens in real time. This same basic pattern is continued throughout the book of Acts.
Knowing this, one can work back through the OT and see how God actually revealed these things as history developed. Genesis 4...men began to call upon the name of the Lord. Genesis 6...Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 12...by faith Abraham...
Personal testimonials can get very involved but I can tell you from personal experience, I didn't go looking for God. But He certainly used the circumstances of my life to turn me towards Him. And after making probably the worst profession of faith in history one night, I went to sleep. Before that night I never thought much about God. Since that next morning, I haven't been able to stop thinking about Him.

God, used the death of my Dad to pull me in.
i was rebellious. i made judas look like a saint.
was damned and determined to live by own rules.
that last week, listening to him, knowing i was not promised another day with him.
then he died.

took a few months to get past being numb. then one day was flipping through television channels and the Christian channels started coming on. did not even know which one or who was on the set. turned the tv off. dropped to the floor and just balled until i ended up wrapped into a ball. at first, giving my Life to Jesus was more about getting to see my Dad again. then eventually, i almost forgot about my Dad because i started noticing God in my life, around me, in the things i was doing. now, it's about seeing God, with my Dad as a wonderful 2nd Prize.

but yes, God, brought me to a place where it was finally me and Him.
been Together since :)

There is a reality to salvation. We really are made new creations. Our lives are transformed, and it becomes increasingly less about us and more about Him. John the Baptist understood...I must decrease and He must increase.

This is not really how Christians view the Gospel. In fact it is very inaccurate and misleading. Genuine Christians DO NOT add works to the Gospel, since they know that salvation (justification) is by grace through faith APART from works. And Christians definitely do not add Israel or the Holy Land to the Gospel. That would be totally BIZARRE.

However, there could be no Gospel without the New Covenant in the blood of Christ. And there could be no salvation without the shed blood of Christ being applied for the remission of sins. So obviously somebody is seriously in error about the Gospel of the grace of God and how it is to be viewed.

you could not have said this any better. like i said, i basically was going anywhere in the opposite direction of where God was at. But He knew me, what mattered to me, what could really shake my foundations, what could sound the fire alarm to my soul and whole being. He did His thing, i had no idea the hook was connected and that He was slowly reeling me in. never ever saw it coming hahahaha then next thing you're on the floor in a cradle position begging for Him hahahahaha crazy, just pure insanity, how it actually works lol but at the same time, the most beautiful and amazing thing i will ever experience this side of Heaven.

When I was growing up I heard a LOT of gospel messages about Jesus, but many variations of what I must do to be saved.
Everyone says Jesus died for our sins. The Mormons say that. The liberal denominations teach that . The Muslims teach about Jesus. Every rainbow haired clergy probably says that too.
It's man's RESPONSE that they get wrong.
This is warned about so many times in the epistles.
The gospel of John is specifically given to get unbelievers saved.
Do you know how many times it gives the proper response to the question of the Philipian Jailer in Acts 16:30?
Exactly 100 Times in the King James Bible!

"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."
John 20:31

What is the proper response that is void of any additional support concerning Jesus Christ?

BELIEVE

Acts 16:30,31
"Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

I'm glad you and others are making this point too.

For anyone who is not certain that they are going to heaven, a person can be when they make this decision. I fortunately made that decision when I was a teenager. You can too right now. It's explained in detail in the following video.

Romans 10
Amen! Now although it is our responsibility to choose to believe in Christ for eternal life (John 3:16) and we will be held accountable for unbelief, (John 3:18) saving belief in Christ is never exclusively a matter of human decision. Unless the Father draws us (John 6:44) and enables us (John 6:65), we would NEVER come to believe in Christ for eternal life all by ourselves. The approach of the soul to Christ is initiated by the Father, but He doesn't force us to choose to believe in Christ for eternal life, we must choose to believe in Christ for eternal life. The impulse to saving belief in Christ comes from the Father.

We are not saved by works, but by faith, for that is all we can do when we first confess Christ.

But after we receive the Spirit then we have to have works of love to have faith active in our life, for we are having the right perspective of faith of loving people which love is the fulfilling of the law.

Charity, love in action, works, is greater than faith, and hope, and faith works by love.

Paul said he could have all faith so that he could remove mountains but if he did not have charity than he is nothing.

Paul said if a person says godliness is gain from such withdraw yourselves having food and clothing be content.

For the love of money is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy, and love is the fulfilling of the law, which if a person loves money for their wants they have erred from the faith.

James said if they do not have charity then their faith is dead.

For a person is justified by works and not faith alone.

John said if a person does not have charity then the love of God does not dwell in them.

So do not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed, works, and in truth.

Love is greater than faith, and love does not think an evil thought, and does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth to be Christlike led by the Spirit.

They say the Church replaces Israel but Israel is the Church.

That is why when a Gentile is saved they become a Jew inward, and they belong to the commonwealth of Israel.

The 12 tribes of Israel, and the 12 apostles of the Lamb are written in the New Jerusalem.

God said that Israel shall never cease to be a nation and after they have borne their shame for rejecting the truth God will restore the kingdom on Earth to Israel which He will make a full end of all Gentile nations, but He will not make a full end of Israel although they will not be wholly unpunished.

It is all about Israel from Abraham to Jacob, Israel, to David, to Jesus, to the millennial reign of Christ, to the New Jerusalem.

God has to bring Israel as a nation to the truth or there is no salvation for anyone because Israel is the Church.

That is why God is sending 2 witnesses to Israel in the future to turn them to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah.

When the New Age Christ negotiates peace in the Middle East and there is a peace treaty then it will pave the way for all Hebrews to go back to Israel for the Gentile nations will make it happen, and none of them will be left in the nations.

Which God said He will bring the whole house of Israel back to their land and leave none of them in the nations anymore, and they shall know the LORD their God from that time forward, and He will never hide His face from them again.

Israel is the Church.

A Gentile that is saved belongs to the commonwealth of Israel because Israel is the Church.

Love is greater than faith, and faith works by love, and love does not think an evil thought, and rejoices in the truth to abstain from sin led by the Spirit.

Which a Spirit led life will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, for they have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Blessed is the person that endures temptation for when they are tried they shall receive the crown of life.

The Lord knows those that are His and a person that names the name of Christ has to depart from iniquity.

The Bible says that some people have a form of godliness but deny being led of the Spirit which they are ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, and are lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, for they love sin more than they love God.

Stop playing your silly games so called Christians, and stop sinning and believing you are alright, and realize Israel is the Church.

There are more hypocrites than there are people that do right who want to enjoy worldliness, and a relaxed attitude concerning being Christlike.

Oh we are saved by faith so I think I will dabble in sin for I cannot fall and blah, blah blah.

It is hard to hang around people who claim to be Christians for me because the majority are a bunch of hypocrites that want to enjoy worldliness, and then say we are saved.

The world will soon rebel against God led by the New Age Christ who will claim to be God as he is controlled by Satan and then He will end sin on Earth.

So whose fault is it the world that got worse in arrogance, and self exaltation, or did the hypocrisy of millions of people claiming to be Christians cause it to happen for people did not take them seriously and thought Christianity was not the solution for the world.

With their fighting, and belittling of each other, and their hypocritical lifestyle, and their divisions of denominations saying they have the truth loving there is divisions so they can say they have the truth out of all of them to say we are the winners in an arrogant fashion.

Whose fault is it that the world will rebel against God.

Many people that claim Christianity have a relaxed attitude when living for Christ and they love it that way.

The gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16) To "believe" the gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation.

To either "front load" or "back load" works into the gospel is to pervert the gospel. (Galatians 1:6-9)

From beginning "have been saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8) to end "receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1:9) salvation is by grace through faith and is not by works. (Romans 3:24-28; 4:5-6; Ephesians 2:8,9 etc..).

From the first post here to yours I had several responses I wanted to give but yours here deemed more importance.. Your request made me not able to express how I met him. met God not by church or influence but by all I have known of being unloved uncared about always underestimated always wondering what it feels like to actually be loved to matter just the sensation of of being enough.

Why others came to Christ I cannot say but I know all to well and still struggle with self worth always recieving the short end of the stick never knowing or understanding why though I am more than willing to help give or even suffer for others I myslef cannot have or recieve just basic understanding or love I even had a dream where I met a family who by no means were perfect they truly and actually loved and cared for each other this was the first time I encountered Jesus himself I saw this family longing so deeply to have what they had I asked them if I coulkd join their family knowing that is a super big thing to ask being brought into another family especially age wise or even the odd request of being grafted into a blood line that is not your own

I had the nerve to ask such a thing to request being grafted into an actual family people who take you because they actually care they see something in you how I would miss the family friday nights in my family when we would have family game or movie nights but I was always treated as to dumb to even cook eggs.

I met him in this despare it wasn't as if I hadn't been expose to the usual teaching of church it is as if I didn't grow up with the basic teachings of going to sunday church even if only by tradition but I met him because of everything lacking not because of what I was taught or shown.

If I can express myself in one way is that I have never been able to see past everuthing wrong with me veverything I lack everythning I should be but in that dream when I asked this family if I could join them I was met by a man in shaggd poorly dreseed in clothes of dirt and ragged used clothing hugged me the warmth he poured into me the love that reversese everything you may have lacked everything you craved but could never recieved and he said to me I had to make my family like this.

Those who lack are all the more grateful for what he does what he is how he sees us
To be seen even if you aare unable to see it in yourself we know grace we are all the more grateful for every good thing he gives does or says of us.

Grace as a topic is highly divided debated and misunderstood but how many times I have simply expressed my grattitude for him being there for putting up with me when I have more than once blashpemed curse and cussed at him more than deserving of being struck down such people are actually grateful and understand the value of his grace we know where we stand we know where we have been we know what we have done yet he was there we could always talk to him we could always express everything that alone makes us worship him just for being there

Grace is so misturdood the value of it what it actually means to those who need it it is just a topic to most people debate about it all the time but grace is a treasure a miracle for some a topic to debate and attack and strech for others
