No, that's not what is being stated. It just goes to show that even those walking
with Jesus were still wrong at times, as they are not infallible like Jesus is.
What was stated seemed to be that was Paul needed correction in what he believed/wrote concerning Christianity.

For the reason that he taught other than Jesus. But that is false. Paul did not need correction on his Christian doctrine.

Au contraire! Paul, who claimed he was caught up into heaven and given the Gospel directly
by Jesus, that all men would be judged according to his gospel, that he had declared to people
the whole counsel of God, that he kept back nothing profitable from the people he taught, and
that he was the apostle to the gentiles, corrected others. What's more, they accepted his correction.

Scripture doesn't delete scripture and new commandments do not delete previous commandments. You can believe the teachings of man; my faith is in Jesus as He will only lead us on the narrow path. In His own Words He says when we keep our traditions/rules over the commandments of God quoting from the Ten, one worships in vain and it is the blind leading the blind, both teacher and student end up in a ditch, which means off the narrow path Matthew 15:3-14. But if we don't believe His teachings or feel they don't apply I guess we can't head His warning hence why He tells there will be many who will say Lord Lord (believers) in that great day...but He won't know them as they do not do His Fathers will, or keep His laws Matthew 7:21-23 and the parallel verse to these points directly to the Ten Commandments Rev 22:14-15 Perhaps one day you may reconsider, but our time on this earth is short.

Appreciate the chat, no point in continuing but wish you well in seeking Truth to His Word.

God bless.
It's unfortunate you feel that way. And yes, certain parts of scripture do reveal that other parts have become obsolete while others expand.
It's a little disingenuous of you to tout the words of Jesus when you believe they strengthen your argument, and then deny them when it clearly disproves your assertions.
Grace and peace.

Scripture will spell out if there is a change, its not up to us and none of the teachings of Jesus are deleted as we are to be followers of Christ and hard to be if we don't believe His teachings

Jesus words changed things. Jesus life, death, and resurrection changed things. You would simply rather remain under a failed covenant than go against the things you have been previously taught.

I gave the verses already:

Now if perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on
this basis the people received the law), why was there still need for another priest to
appear—one in the order of Melchizedek and not in the order of Aaron? For when
the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed as well. Hebrews 7:11-12

Christ used "law and prophets" because he fulfilled the LAW and prophecy. Jesus our messiah was teaching the commandments not the laws instituted by Moses, this is why the book of the law was kept outside the ark of the covenant, they are not for the gentiles many of these laws are good but many cannot be applied today as you know. the commandments are issued from the LOVE GOD has for us He wants us to be HOLY as he is HOLY. His commandments are LOVE!

Blessings.
From the NAS Greek Lexicon for pleroo:
  1. to fulfil, i.e. to cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed as it should be, and God's promises (given through the prophets) to receive fulfilment
After Jesus said that he came to the fulfill the Law and the Prophets, he then proceeded to fulfill it six times throughout the rest of the chapter by teaching how to correctly obey it as it should be. In Deuteronomy 5:31-33, Moses wrote down everything that God commanded without departing from it, so all of the Law of Moses was instituted by God, which is why the Law of Moses is referred to as the Law of God in verses like Nehemiah 8:1-8, Ezra 7:6-12, and Luke 2:22-23. Everything commanded in the Law of Moses is either in regard to how to love our neighbor or how to love God, which is why Jesus said that those are the greatest two commandments and that all of the other commandments hang on them.

For example, in 1 Peter 1:16, we are told to be holy for God is holy, which is a quote from Leviticus where God was giving instructions for how to do that, which includes keeping God's Sabbaths holy (Leviticus 19:2-3) and refraining from eating unclean animals (Leviticus 11:44-45). By acting in accordance with aspects of God's nature in obedience to the Mosaic we testifying about are expressing our love for those aspects of God's nature, which is why there are many verses in both the OT and the NT that connect our love for God with our obedience to His commandments, so by obeying God's instructions for how to be holy as He is holy we are testifying about and expressing our love for God's holiness. Many Christians refuse to follow God's instructions for how to be holy as He is holy, so they are bearing false witness against God by testifying that He is not holy, and holiness is simply not an aspect of God's nature that they love. If God were not holy, then it would make no difference to the way that they live, so they live in a way that treats God as if He were not holy.

The law that changed if one wanted to read in context was the priesthood, so Jesus could become our High Priest. It also included the old sanctuary laws regarding animal sacrifices as it always pointed forward to Jesus who became our sacrificial Lamb. The law that didn’t change was the law that defines sin, the Ten Commandments, and what we will be judged by. James 2:10-12 Mat 5:19-30 which is why its under the mercy seat of Jesus revealed in His Heavenly Temple Rev 11:19 and what the earthy temple was patterned after Hen 8:1-5

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things [c]to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, [d]sanctifies for the [e]purifying of the flesh, 14

Hebrews 10:1 For the law (animal sacrifices), having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once [a]purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. 5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:

“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
You had no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
In the volume of the book it is written of Me—
To do Your will, O God.’ ”
8 Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law), 9 then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, [b]O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second. 10 By that will we have been [c]sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

God wrote His laws Exo 20:6 in the hearts and minds of His people instead of deleting them in the NC Heb 8:10 which is why its still a sin to break them Rom 7:7 and why Jesus taught not to break or teach others to break the least of them. Mat 5:19-30

He knew some of what Christians believed but he did not believe as they did which is why he was
seeing to murdering them. He had no Christian doctrine to correct. He was a Pharisee of Pharisees.
yes he was a pharisee and rightfully rebuked by the Lord before his conversion.

What if there was a record of those two commandments being usurped by greater ones? Would you then believe?
Indeed, though Jesus did not say anything about usurping the greatest two commandments. In Deuteronomy 4:2, it is a sin to add to or subtract from the Mosaic Law, so if Jesus had done as you suggest, then he would have sinned and disqualified himself aa being our Savior. Likewise, in Deuteronomy 13:4-5, the way that God instructed to determine that someone is a false prophet who was not speaking for him was if they taught against obeying the Mosaic Law, so if Jesus had tried to usurp it, then, then according to God we should consider him to be a false prophet.

In the first case the “new” commandment has this as the standard: “…as I have loved you, so you should love one another.” The “old” commandment has this: “With all of your capacity to love so you should love God and so you should love one another.”
The is nothing brand new about the command to love our neighbor because it can be found in Leviticus 19:17, but what was new about that command was the quality of the example by which we should love our neighbor, and indeed the Greek word uses refers to newness with respect to quality rather than to time:

3501 /néos ("new on the scene") suggests something "new in time" – in contrast to its near-synonym (2537 /kainós, "new in quality").

Part of the command to love our neighbor as ourselves is the command to love ourselves, so in order to know how to correctly obey that command we need to know how we should love ourselves, and the answer to that is that we should love ourselves as Jesus loves us, which is therefore how we should love our neighbor. So Jesus was not violating Deuteronomy 4:2 by adding his own command, but rather he was fulfilling the law by teaching how to correctly obey it as it should be. In Matthew 22:36-40, Jesus summarized the Mosaic Law as being about how to love God and our neighbor, so that is how he expressed his love to us, which is also how we are to love our neighbor.

Now don’t take my observation for that. Look at this: this is from Matthew5:48, Jesus is speaking. Now this verse of Scripture is very troubling. Matthew 5:48 says, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” What we’ve done is we’ve read that verse out of its context and we have inferred meanings to it that it does not mean. For example we’ve inferred that it means “be perfect in power” and so people come up with thoughts like, “if you’re not healed it’s your fault; you don’t have enough faith, you do not exercise enough power.” So if things go badly it’s your fault. God has given you all power, God has given you all faith, and so on, and if you do these things less than perfectly then it is your fault. Well that’s garbage because God would not require us to be perfect in power, whatever power we have is His power given to us, and no one is made "all powerful". Therefore we could only operate in whatever measures of power He has given us. This Scripture is not about being perfect in power; it’s about being perfect in love.

Note the context: jump back to verse 43 “‘You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies…” (so the context is love) “..and pray for those who persecute you…” Now why should you do that and how is this different? You must do that so that you can be sons of your Father in heaven, "..that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” It means that just as natural children resemble their natural parents and the nature of natural children is like the nature of their natural parents, so the nature of the children of God is like the God Who is perfect in love. So it’s not surprising to us that the same standard would apply to God as would apply to us… in the matter of love. So that you will be as sons of your Father in heaven.

And then He gives us some examples of how he loves His enemies and does good for those who persecute Him. “He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous…”. Then He contrasts and He says, “If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even the pagans do that?” In short, to be like your Father in heaven it means that you do not simply love your enemies as you love yourselves or you love your neighbor as yourself; it is that you would love your enemy by preferring them over your own life and in that sense, and within that context it says, “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

The “old” commandment, under the Law, basically required you to love the extent of your capacity to love… love God as much as you are able and to love your neighbor as you are inclined to love yourself. That’s the “old” commandment. The “new” commandment says, “…as I have loved you.” And it establishes Christ as the standard for love. Christ being the Living God, the standard is the same for God as the standard is for man.
The Greek word can also mean "whole" or "complete" rather than perfect because Jesus was not speaking about being perfect in the sense of having never made a mistake, but about having a love that is whole or complete, where we do not just love those who love us, but also love our enemies. Loving our enemies in in accordance with verses like Exodus 23:4-5, Deuteronomy 23:7, Proverbs 24:17-18, and Proverbs 25:21-22, so Jesus was not teaching anything brand new. In other words, we are made perfect in the sense that a master potter is creating a masterpiece, not in the sense of never having had a flaw.

Now the reason why the standard is the same is because, according to 2 Peter 1:4, the intent of God is that we be made to be partakers of the divine nature…"

“Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” and "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His nature..."

The divine nature, the nature of God, is to love and to love perfectly; to love by preferring the life of another over your own life, to give up your life to God so that God would live through you. Now what’s left unanswered for us is: why? And furthermore, how does this prepare us to overcome the evil one?

Revelation 12:11 “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”) In this respect we are meant to be exactly as God—perfect in love—the same standard that applies to God applies to us and this is the measure that displays the reality that we are partakers of the divine nature.
The Bible often uses the same words to describe aspects of the nature of God as it does to describe aspects of the nature of the Mosaic Law, such as with it being holy, righteous, and good (Romans 7:12), or with justice, mercy, and faith being weightier matters of the Mosaic Law (Matthew 23:23), which is because it is God's instructions for partake in those aspects of His nature. Likewise, God's way is the way in which He practices aspects of His nature, such as righteousness and justice (Genesis 18:19) and there are many verses that describe the Mosaic Law as being instructions for how to walk in God's was (1 Kings 2:1-3).

By this it is abundantly clear that the “new” commandment is not simply the “old” commandment rehashed. It has the elements of a totally different standard, the same standard for God and man.
The Mosaic Law was given to teach us how to know Him through acting in accordance with the standard of His nature, so it has always been the same standard for God and man.

Yes, those walking in His Spirit there is no condemnation but if you keep reading, it shows what the carnal mind looks like...who are not walking in His Spirit but walking in flesh (sin) breaking God's law 1 John 3:4 the Ten Commandments Romans 7:7 Mat 5:19-30

Romans 7:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

I am just saying you have to read more of what Jesus said, I know a lot of people who rely almost exclusively on Paul's words and forget about Christ, It us just what I am saying, you must read and see for yourself, If I wrote it here you would not understand. I prefer you search for yourself it is the best way to know.
but don't you see what you're really saying is you trust what was was written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John above what was written by Paul?

The Words of Jesus are not hard to understand, we really do not need to reinterpret them for Him and there is no scripture that says we are saved in our sins. Jesus did not teach just how the Jews are to live, He taught to be OUR example to follow 1 John 2:6
Jesus offended the Pharisees precisely because He worked on the Sabbath. You should try reading the rest of the New Testament sometime. FYI, the gospels were the last books written (along with Revelation). It is plain as day that the Law is a shadow of the reality found in Christ. God gave the law through Moses. Grace and Truth come through Jesus. He is the Light. I will live in the light, not the shadows. I suggest that you do the same. Life is so much easier.

Nope. That's the function of the Holy Spirit for those in Christ. He indwells believers. He IS the very nature of Our Father and He leads us moment by moment.

Perhaps you are unable to understand this because the Spirit does not live in you.

Paul wrote: “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Now "hope" is not "wish". It is not wishing for something to materialize. Hope is the expectation that what is promised will appear. Hope is based in truth that is established in Christ. The "name it and claim it" doctrine is based on wish. "Christ in us" is based on hope and is secured by the promises of God.

"By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

This is not about Jesus Christ appearing as a man. This is about Him indwelling the believer. "Christ in us" is central to the saint's life: "Christ in us" gives meaning and purpose to everything we do. By His Spirit in us, the Holy Spirit, we are led moment by moment in the commands of God. We may know and have the power to follow follow His every whim.

However,

"..and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world."

Any doctrine that supplants the indwelling leading of Christ with an external force, whether it be from the scripture or not, is Anti-Christ. Why? Because that is not what God is doing. The Father has entrusted all He has and does to the Son. It is only by the Son that any have life in Him. Furthermore, even the truth of the scriptures must be understood spiritually for the words to bring any life to the reader. If they are understood as a rule book or as wise teachings that is Anti-Christ.

Are you siding with the Pharisees that Jesus sinned and broke the Sabbath? I side with Jesus who is without sin Heb 4:15 1 Peter 2:21-22 , meaning He kept the Sabbath commandment and all of them and taught us to as well. John 15:10 John 14:15 Mat 5:19-30 Math 15:3-9 Luke 4:16

Doing well on the Sabbath was never a sin and still isn't to this day. What Jesus was doing was breaking the sabbath of the Pharisees, not the Sabbath of the Lord thy God by doing His ways on the Sabbath, not our own. Isa 58:13 The Pharisees were adding to the commandments adding their rules to God's something we are told not to do add or subtract Deut 4:2 because no one is above God.

Hope this helps.

I am a doer of the law; The doers of the law shall be justified.
Amen.

Jesus uses the commandments of God (Ten) interchangeably with the Word of God. We should be doers of His Word, not just hearers.

Mark 7:6 He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:

‘This people honors Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
7 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’

8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—[d]the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”

9 He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 11 But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban”—’ (that is, a gift to God), 12 then you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother, 13 making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

Wow! I'm not sure why anyone would want to make the word of God of no effect. Or have our hearts far from Jesus or worship Him in vain.

This is the fruit of a saved person, the opposite of false worship (in vain)

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Trust Jesus!

Agreed. How can we have faith in Him and His indwelling Spirit but not have faith in His very own teachings.

The Spirit is given to help us keep the commandments.

John 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another [e]Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

And the Spirit is given to those who obey
