Are you siding with the Pharisees that Jesus sinned and broke the Sabbath? I side with Jesus who is without sin Heb 4:15 1 Peter 2:21-22 , meaning He kept the Sabbath commandment and all of them and taught us to as well. John 15:10 John 14:15 Mat 5:19-30 Math 15:3-9 Luke 4:16

Doing well on the Sabbath was never a sin and still isn't to this day. What Jesus was doing was breaking the sabbath of the Pharisees, not the Sabbath of the Lord thy God by doing His ways on the Sabbath, not our own. Isa 58:13 The Pharisees were adding to the commandments adding their rules to God's something we are told not to do add or subtract Deut 4:2 because no one is above God.

Hope this helps.
I'm making the point that outward observance of the law is insufficient to be considered righteous. Jesus said that we need a righteousness that exceeds that of the Pharisees. Jesus alone is my righteousness. How about you? Let me say this: if you could keep the Law, Jesus died in vain.

Yes, the standard for the Pharisees was very low as they taught their traditions over keeping the commandments of God which Jesus rebuked. Matthew 15 And if you read what Jesus taught on how our righteousness needs to exceed the scribes and Pharisees He teaches that right from the Ten , that sadly many reject His teaching. Jesus never did away with the Ten Commandments He is applying the Ten to our thoughts and feelings and in breaking the least of these quoting from the Ten one would be in fear of Judgement and Sin.

Matthew 5:19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
21 “You have heard that it was said to those [d]of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother [e]without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’[f] shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, [g]‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of [h]hell fire. 23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. 26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.
27 “You have heard that it was said [i]to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

Jesus took the penalty of sin- death for us as all have sinned. If there was no death penalty to the law He could have just removed the law. Jesus did not die so we can continue in sin our salvation is from sin, not in sin. Mat 1:21

If we remove the law that defines sin, the Ten Commandments Romans 7:7 Mat 5:19-30 we remove death. If remove death, that means we are all immortal. This is the same lie in the garden- they could sin and not die. The problem with this teaching is only Jesus is immortal. 1 Tim 6:16 Jesus clearly teachings not everyone is saved. Mat 7:21-23 So no, we are not free to sin. What we can do is accept the free gift of Jesus Christ and when we sin we can go to Him directly for forgiveness and sanctification because when Jesus healed He said go and sin no more, not go continue living the same. We have two choices, we are either a salve to sin or a salve to Christ. One path leads to death, the other to righteousness Romans 6:16 Isa 48:18 and back to reconciliation. Rev 22:14

Those who do not want to keep God's holy Sabbath now, would they really be happy in God's eternal Kingdom where Sabbath worship continues for eternity. Isa 66:22-23. I believe God's judgement is an act of compassion as He would not someone eternally unhappy. Which is why we need to take on God's character now, which is reflected in His holy law. Jesus is not going to conform heaven to us, we conform to Him.

The dead know nothing. Ecclesiastes 9:5

Hell just means the grave and that will happen on Judgement day for the condemned.

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne, and the One seated on it. The earth and heaven fled from His presence, but no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead—the great and the small—standing before the throne. The books were opened, and another book was opened—the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what was written in the books, according to their deeds. [f] 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Sheol gave up the dead in them. Then they were each judged, each one of them, according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Sheol were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Hell can represent the grave, but it can also mean a place of torment. That notwithstanding, if heaven isn't one's destination, unhappiness will be the least of their problems.

This is a Catholic teaching, not one I believe based on what the bible teaches. There is no scripture that one is in a place of torment. When we die, we return to dust and await for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. When He comes those in Him will receive enteral life, those not death. There is no third choice. Rev 20

I like how you characterize other people's beliefs, as if to diminish their argument and exalt your own. If your arguments can't stand on their own, attempting to characterize others arguments won't make your ideas any more accurate.

I just believe in what the bible teaches, which is why I use scripture references because my opinion and the opinion of man is not the same as God's Word. God's Word is how He speaks to us, it is to be the light to our path Psa 119:105 and the bible will interpret itself, if we allow it to. We are only sanctified by the Truth of God's Word John 17:17 and only God can sanctify Eze 20:12

PS- the eternal torment doctrine not found in scripture is a direct attack on God's character. That God would eternally torment one until they do what He asks. Obedience to God has always been through love and faith Exo 20:6 John 14:15 1 John 5:2-3 Mat 15:10 Romans 3:31 Rev 14:12 Jesus changing us from the inside out.

Jesus offended the Pharisees precisely because He worked on the Sabbath. You should try reading
the rest of the New Testament sometime. FYI, the gospels were the last books written (along with
Revelation). It is plain as day that the Law is a shadow of the reality found in Christ. God gave the
law through Moses. Grace and Truth come through Jesus. He is the Light. I will live in the light,
not the shadows. I suggest that you do the same. Life is so much easier.

From the NAS Greek Lexicon for pleroo:
  1. to fulfil, i.e. to cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed as it should be, and God's promises (given through the prophets) to receive fulfilment
After Jesus said that he came to the fulfill the Law and the Prophets, he then proceeded to fulfill it six times throughout the rest of the chapter by teaching how to correctly obey it as it should be. In Deuteronomy 5:31-33, Moses wrote down everything that God commanded without departing from it, so all of the Law of Moses was instituted by God, which is why the Law of Moses is referred to as the Law of God in verses like Nehemiah 8:1-8, Ezra 7:6-12, and Luke 2:22-23. Everything commanded in the Law of Moses is either in regard to how to love our neighbor or how to love God, which is why Jesus said that those are the greatest two commandments and that all of the other commandments hang on them.

For example, in 1 Peter 1:16, we are told to be holy for God is holy, which is a quote from Leviticus where God was giving instructions for how to do that, which includes keeping God's Sabbaths holy (Leviticus 19:2-3) and refraining from eating unclean animals (Leviticus 11:44-45). By acting in accordance with aspects of God's nature in obedience to the Mosaic we testifying about are expressing our love for those aspects of God's nature, which is why there are many verses in both the OT and the NT that connect our love for God with our obedience to His commandments, so by obeying God's instructions for how to be holy as He is holy we are testifying about and expressing our love for God's holiness. Many Christians refuse to follow God's instructions for how to be holy as He is holy, so they are bearing false witness against God by testifying that He is not holy, and holiness is simply not an aspect of God's nature that they love. If God were not holy, then it would make no difference to the way that they live, so they live in a way that treats God as if He were not holy.
Thank you , I will study this further.

Blessings.

Nope. That's the function of the Holy Spirit for those in Christ. He indwells believers. He IS the very nature of Our Father and He leads us moment by moment.

Perhaps you are unable to understand this because the Spirit does not live in you.
In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way that he and Israel might know Him, in 1 Kings 2:1-3, God taught how to walk in His way through the Mosaic Law, and in John 17:3, eternal life is knowing God and Jesus. In Jeremiah 9:3 and 9:6, they did not know God and refused to know Him because in 9:13, they had foreseen the Mosaic Law, while in 9:24, those who know God know that He delights in practicing steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in all of the earth, so delighting in practicing those and other aspects of God's nature/fruits of the Spirit in obedience to the Mosaic Law is the way to know God and the way to know Jesus, who is the exact image of God's nature (Hebrews 1:3). In 1 John 2:4, those who say that they know Jesus, but don't obey His command are liars, in 1 John 3:4-6, those who continue to practice sin in transgression of the Mosaic Law have neither seen nor known him, and in Matthew 7:23, Jesus said that he would tell those who are workers of lawlessness to depart from him because he never knew them, so the goal of the Mosaic Law is to know God and Jesus. In Ezekiel 36:26-27, the Spirit has the role of leading us to obey the Mosaic Law, so that is not different.

Nope. The “law was added because of transgressions.” Had the Jews gone up Sinai in the presence of God the law would have never been necessary. The New Covenant actually makes His presence available again by the indwelling of the Spirit. This is the “new and living way” Jesus secured for us by His sacrifice: we now, believing in Him, enter into the presence of God. Christ inhabits His people. This effectively re-conciles us back to the promise given to Abraham before the law was given. With the indwelling of God's Spirit in us, and we in Him, there is no need for a law to tell us anything about God: we have the mind of the One Who perfectly represents our Father in all things: Christ’s.

The Words of Jesus are not hard to understand, we really do not need to reinterpret them for Him and there is no scripture that says we are saved in our sins. Jesus did not teach just how the Jews are to live, He taught to be OUR example to follow 1 John 2:6
“For the law was given by Moses,

but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The law and the prophets were until John:

since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father:

there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:2-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Moses command in the law

When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭24:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus the lords word

“And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19:7-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

which directive is right ? The one Jesus gives in the gospel or the one Moses gave to people who wouldnt be born again ? Wouldnt receive his spirit ? Remission of sins ? Your missing it because of what Paul’s explaining here

“But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: and not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:7, 11-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the ot is a pattern and foreshadow it isn’t the actual thing God was doing it’s a sillohette a foreshadow a pattern

look closely at the commandments it’s not telling anyone what to do ……it’s telling sinners what not to do

Thou shalt not do this isnt what Jesus taught he taught us how to live right what to do …..

Thou shalt not kill thou shalt not commit adultery thou shalt not lie , thou shalt not have other gods …..this is what you tell killers and adulterers liars and idolaters the law is speaking to these folks

“knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We can’t learn how to live by trying to be sinners behaving commandments telling us what not to do we can o my learn that we’re sinners that way and learn what our sins are that’s what the law is for see

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.( that can’t save anyone )

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”( can’t justify anyone )
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Its not the same ordination of the father son and holt ghost rather …..it’s Gods authority , an angels ordination and Moses mediation

“Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Moses saved the Israelites when God decided to destroy them by laying his life on the line interceding for them and Hod spares most of hen because of it he gave Moses rule over them and set an angel over them to lead them and guide them into the promised land and then he left off from them this stuff is all written down in the law

...and set an angel over them to lead them and guide them into the promised land...
That was not just "an angel". It was Jesus as "the Angel of the LORD" (as well as "the Rock"). Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. (1 Cor 10:1-4)

Christ not only followed them but also led them (along with the Holy Spirit). The rebellious Israelites vexed God's Holy Spirit: But they rebelled, and vexed his Holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. (Isa 63:10)

And then Scripture says that GOD led the Israelites through the wilderness. But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt. (Exod 13:18)

So in fact the Holy Trinity was present with the Israelites when they were in the wilderness. Not merely "an angel".
