I just hope you don't spread a false narrative that the woman who committed adultery was really an innocent victim. God bless! :giggle:
Oh but she WAS a victim. She was the object of a "set up" and attempted murder. Planned premeditated murder. Fully sanctioned at the highest level. In fact that is one of the crucial factors of the sordid debacle.

And no she was NOT innocent. Nobody is. It's just a matter of degree.

But the major point is that Christ was present. Rescue. Life instead of death. Salvation instead of condemnation. Nobody dies when the Kinsman Redeemer and author of life is present.

So you want to insult pretty much everyone who isn't agreeing with you? This is how the left acts when they can no longer articulate a rational argument after someone exposes the hole in their logic/reasoning. It's not very fruitful to engage further. I just hope you don't spread a false narrative that the woman who committed adultery was really an innocent victim. God bless! :giggle:
And you thought that a bunch of well meaning devout pharisees (and co-conspirators) in a fit or righteous fervor just happened to accidentally stumble upon, and then in good faith and pure-hearted religious zeal delivered up a super-duper sinning serial adulterer to their spiritual teacher and judge their Lord Jesus for Him to render just judgment and punishment and the death penalty so demanded by the Torah. And after the stoning, everybody goes home with zero repercussions. Done deal.

Yea.......that's what a lot of clueless idiots think. So you are in good company.

We agree on almost everything, even about the pharisees, but where we disagree is that he thinks she wasn't guilty. He said she is a victim and the only guilty people were the pharisees. Christ forgave her and didn't condemn her, but instead commanded her to go and leave her sinful life behind implying she was in fact a sinner (just like everyone else). If she wasn't guilty, what was it that Christ forgave her of?:unsure::unsure:

He was lecturing me about the pharisees as if I said anything different. This is just evidence that he doesn't even really read what I'm saying and instead is just wanting to reply and spit personal insults.
And BTW.....Jesus was NOT their (those who confronted Him with the woman) master and commander and Savior. They were in fact His enemies and conspirators aka spies sent by the Pharisaical leadership who wanted him DEAD. Strait up dead.

And this was just one of many attempts at doing just that.

Reminds me of the Native Americans when we discovered oil under their reservation.
Many on this thread bewail supposed injustice perpetrated against the Gazans. Same goes for the Israelites.

However the real solution to their most pressing problem is the same for both: Get saved. Now. With the greatest sense of urgency.

Understand folks what this guy is saying.

God's Word is in doubt, and sometimes is erroneous.

This is at the extreme end of where amils go, but you can see the danger in that thought. It can, and sometimes does, lead to these kinds of heretical statements.

shame on you, trying to twist what I say and ignore and manipulate, you seem to have a trend of this.

God cannot be questioned or wrong, I clearly say previously that Genesis was written hundreds of years after. The bible says that the scribes have lied or do you only believe the bits you want and ignore what you dont want to hear - Jeremiah 8:8 .......But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.

So you don't believe God of Abraham is omniscient. Got it. And you are teaching others this as well.

By definition God is omniscient and you don't simply think the God of Abraham isn't, but that you are. That is a violation of the first commandment: You shall have no other god's before Me.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

You clearly did read or understand what I said see post #4448 above

So then you believe the Bible is a lie. Sorry same issue. God is omnipotent, no scribe has the power to change one jot or tittle. Satan has obviously wanted to change the word of God, He can't.

Shame on YOU for calling the inerrancy of God’s Word into question over some obscure verse in Jeremiah, meant to show how scribes have written lying words ASIDE from Scripture to manipulate the Word for their wicked ends. It doesn’t say the SCRIPTURE itself is a lie.

YOU twisted the Word to mean that.

And Genesis was written hundreds of years after what?

Jeremiah 8:1 At that time, saith the Lord, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:

I am going to use the illustration of when the Jews came out of the holocaust looking like skeletons. I don't think that this verse is referring to that because it says "the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem" but at the same time we know that there is nothing new under the sun, that which has happened is that which will be.

2 And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.

Look at the Jews today, this is certainly true. They are "new agers", they are worshipping every god under the sun. Many Jews say that being jewish is simply a cultural thing, not a religious thing. We call them secular Jews. 45% of the Jews in Israel identify as "secular" Jews.

3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the Lord of hosts.

The Balfour declaration was in 1917, so why were these Jews still in Germany? Why did they choose death rather than life? Why did they remain in places like Russia, Germany, Poland, Austria, France, etc. instead of returning to Israel?

4 Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?

It certainly looked that way, but God.

5 Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

Perpetual backsliding, they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return. This was what we saw in the 1930s. It was becoming obvious the hatred for the Jews, the persecution of them, and yet they refused to return to their own land. We are seeing the rise of antisemitism again, today, and yet the Jews in the US refuse to return. This is a perpetual backsliding.

6 I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.

This is also true. We have the testimony here of a so called "orthodox Jew" from Ireland, living in Canada who is "not crazy about Israel right now". No one is repenting of their wickedness. God dispersed them as a lesson, a discipline, a punishment for their wickedness is not appreciating Him and the covenant they have with Him. That covenant and the worship of God is directly tied to the land of Israel. That was the promise, God said He would give them this land and He commanded them that in that land there would be a place they were to go to worship Him. But they don't care, 49% of the Jews in the world live in the US and will justify that somehow.

7 Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord.

I asked this person about this, how do they reconcile their stance with the Bible since they claim to be "orthodox". They refused to answer. I asked them about Israel if this was the appointed time prophesied in the Bible, they refused to answer. Instead they accused me of asking in bad faith.

8 How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

How do they do this? They do it because their rabbis and scribes write up justifications. They tell them that you can ignore certain verses in the word, they tell them times have changed and those words no longer apply. But not only are those words a lie, they are also vain. How well did that reasoning hold up during the holocaust? When push comes to shove, when the fire of persecution is there all those vain words disappear in a puff of smoke and all people wanted was to return to Israel.

We have the same thing today with the apostate church. They lie because it is profitable to them.

We had the same thing during the slavery years in America, they "justified" their evil acts by twisting the Bible, by lies from their scribes.

After the death of Moses? Nobody in their right mind believes that.

The apostate seminary professors teach plenty of that historical revisionism tho. Are you supporting their theories?

Irrespective of the replacement theologians and amils, God WILLS the following to be inevitable....

Jer 32:37
Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:

Jer 32:38
And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

Jer 32:39
And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

Jer 32:40
And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Jer 32:41
Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

The scribes lying in Jeremiah 8 are like the scribes lying today. They have lied about everything. A scribe is someone with a doctorate degree in divinity. Doesn't mean they wrote the Bible.

The lies are in their explanations of scripture, and not in the recording of scripture.

No. I think my reading comprehension skills are fine.

You don’t believe God’s Word is inerrant.

And don’t even believe Jesus Christ, who repeatedly quotes Moses, and attributes the quotes directly to Moses!
