I'm genuinely curious why virtually all Christians, from all denominations, and all demographics, haven't rallied behind clearly the most Conservative Traditional Republican Candidate since Ronald Raegan, namely Pro-Life Christian Conservative and Christian Nationalist (first to support Michael Cassidy, after he beheaded that Ugly Satan Idol) Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, who has done economic wonders in his home State. The Blessing of Almighty God is so clearly upon Ron DeSantis' life that it is a wonder and a sad testament to the conflicted and divided state of Christendom Today that he hasn't picked up much more support yet, though I'm confident he will before the end.

But, seriously? Why though? Can't people compare his record with adulterous foul mouthed draft-dodging Donald Duck Trump, and see Ron DeSantis, a Military Veteran, and American Hero in his own right just like Michael Cassidy, who stood by and fought for his dear Wife Casey DeSantis when she was undergoing Breast Cancer, who paid down 25% of his State's Debt and ran Record Budget Surpluses while Trump raised the Debt by 8 TRILLION DOLLARS, how is it anything other than a No-Brainer that Ron DeSantis is vastly Superior to Donald Duck?

I'm genuinely confused. But yeah, pls do share your thoughts.

An article on this from some time ago:

"
This Article is to show why Ron De Santis is incontrovertibly a Better Conservative Christian Candidate than "Donald Duck" Trump. Here at Reasons to be Christian, we don't shy away from Politics, since Jesus Christ is King of kings. Those who do insist on staying away from Politics will not be able to work effectively to hasten that blessed day of which Sacred Scripture speaks of when it says: " Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev 11:15).
Reason 1. Ron De Santis is a Soldier, while Donald Duck (Trump) ducked/dodged avoided the Draft:

Ron De Santis is a highly Accomplished Military Veteran. After 9/11, he felt the call to serve America and so joined the Navy. This is a True Servant Leader here.
Meanwhile, Donald Duck ran away from the draft and being a Soldier and instead "battled" STDs while living in fornication and sexual sins, then bragged about it.
"Trump Boasted of Avoiding STDs While Dating: Vaginas Are 'Landmines ... It Is My Personal Vietnam'
Donald Trump likens avoiding contracting STDs during his single years to Vietnam in Howard Stern interview"

Reason 2: Ron De Santis ran Record Budget Surpluses in Florida, while Donald Duck increased Debt by 8 TRILLION DOLLARS.
1. "One of President Donald Trump’s lesser known but profoundly damaging legacies will be the explosive rise in the national debt that occurred on his watch. The financial burden that he’s inflicted on our government will wreak havoc for decades, saddling our kids and grandkids with debt.
The national debt has risen by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump’s time in office. That’s nearly twice as much as what Americans owe on student loans, car loans, credit cards and every other type of debt other than mortgages, combined, according to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country."
2. "TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the surplus for Fiscal Year 2021-22 is $21.8 billion – the highest in state history and more than 21 percent above the state budget for the fiscal year. Collections in May were $742 million above estimates, and preliminary data for June collections are approximately $950 million above estimates.
“Despite the headwinds created by the Biden administration’s policies, Florida is in a strong fiscal position because we preserved freedom and kept our economy open,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “Our responsible policies have allowed us to make record investments to support our communities, promote education, protect the environment, and provide record tax relief for Floridians, all while building record reserves to protect the state against the reckless fiscal policies from Washington.” [3]

Reason 3: DeSantis' Florida is the No. 1 Economy in the US
"
CNBC: Florida has the best economy in the U.S.
Up from No. 4 last year, CNBC ranked Florida as having the best economy in all 50 states, something Gov. Ron DeSantis is happy to point out." [4]
Reason 4: Post Debate Poll Update
[Added since Trump loves talking about the Polls]

"And so it begins: "De Santis overtakes Trump in Poll
"After the five-day convention—which included speeches from Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Florida Congresswoman Kat Cammack and former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake—36.6 percent of the attendees indicated that they wanted to see DeSantis as the next Republican presidential candidate. Trump trailed with 35.4 percent of the vote." [5]

No idea. Something isn't ringing true for people. I don't think this was his time to run. Clearly he isn't getting traction. But we're a long way out yet.

how is it anything other than a No-Brainer that Ron DeSantis is vastly Superior to Donald Duck
I think you are correct > it is a no brainer ....The problem is .....those who want Trump do have brains.

I do think Ron is a good governor and has done a decent job in FL. But he does not connect with the people and the polls show it.
Despite Trumps past ...which I could care less about ....as mine is far worse... so, I judge no one on their past. But Trump has a proven track record.

Is He flawed ....yup ...we all are... And I don't know what his spiritual beliefs are, but I do know he has done more for Christianity than many presidents of the past. He loves America ...maybe even more than he loves himself ....And this time he would not be going in with any misconceptions of how things work....

We know it's a spiritual battle ....how Trump sees it ....I don't know ...but he is a fighter willing to take it on again. So he has my vote and my prayers.

As Churchill truly quipped, "The Best Argument against Democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the Average Voter".

Even if Trump wins the Primary, he will lose to Biden in the general. Again. And if he doesn't lose, he'll be a lame duck prez.

President DeSantis would be a 2 term President, he will sign first a 15 Week then a 6 Week Heartbeat Bill like he did in Florida.

And Trump has attacked those 6 Week Heartbeat bills as a "terrible thing, a terrible mistake". He is "a terrible thing, a terrible mistake".

And there is a reason he said that unfortunately. He has the pulse of the country and they may claim up and down they are Christians, but they want an open door to abortion. I've just dealt with this in my own family. My sister and her husband were as dead set as any Christian on abortion. They preached about it on FB. It was always the hot topic, against abortion, go out and vote. My nephew made an unfortunate mistake and overnight, if they were being honest, I think my sister and BIL would wish that this situation would go away. I hate to judge them, but I really feel it's true. Which tells me that when Christians get in that voting booth alone, they don't vote the way they talk. Too many want abortion, they want restrictions, but they want that "oops" backup. I hate that it's true, but it is. Voting the last few times round has shown this truth.

Christians are not serious in winning the Pro-Life Battle. This is what I've seen over the last nearly 10 years.

Not serious at all. Defeatist, pessimist, believing absurd heresies like the supposed Pre-Trib Rapture, escapist, etc.

Christians will win Pro-Life Battles once Christians live like Real Christians. Fight like you would fight to end the Holocaust.

I'll be voting for Trump. My impression of desantis is he let some unscrupulous people talk him in to running against Trump, which was such a huge mistake that it'll likely end desantis's political career. I think desantis sold himself out to deep state money. It's a common story, unfortunately. President Trump is the only person ever elected to political office who earned my vote while in office. He'll get my vote in '24. DeSantis was a good gov'ner for Florida. We can thank Trump in part for that. I'll never vote for desantis for national office.

This is part of what makes America great …having the freedom to choose and to verbalize your opinion, and support the candidate of your liking…

There is no telling if you would even have that choice had it not been for Trump …. you should be thankful for his choice of nominees to the supreme court … I am pretty sure Hillary’s choices would have been along the lines of ….Jeffrey Epstein, Klaus Schwab, and Lucifer.

But why ??? …..Would you insert pre-trib harpazō into this discussion.

When I look at the waste of the last two administrations, I will be voting for DeSantis in the Florida primary. He is by far a better candidate than Trump, and he will make a much better president.

I thought you laid this out very well and made a great presentation for DeSantis as a superior candidate. And I agree. I also thought Cruz was a better candidate in 2016. So if your premise is correct that it should be a slamdunk, perhaps your assumption is wrong. Perhaps there are far fewer actual Christians than you suppose.

Why? Our state has not had their primary yet. Will Desantis even be still running by the time we have our primary? Generally speaking when one candidate has a 30-35 point lead at this point the other candidates will drop out. Instead of asking why people haven't rallied behind Desantis you could just as easily ask why he hasn't dropped out at this point and thrown his support behind Trump. In ten days we'll see what happens in this Caucus and then we'll see what happens in New Hampshire. If the race is clearly over by then I would hope the other candidates drop out. At the very least if Trump sweeps every race in Feb and March by a wide margin then I expect every other candidate to drop out otherwise I view them as a RINO. My state's primary is in June. So either your question is directed at the wrong people or you don't understand how our system of selecting a candidate works.

Florida just voted DeSantis in for another term in the last election. They want him to finish that out before going on to other stuff.
