at least you've done one right thing in calling the KJB the KJV .

But that's it, but you still need to put the Holy Bible before the KJV and Niv
So are you denying the differences, or you just don't care?

K.J.V. 1 John 5:7, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." in

N.I.V. 1 John 5:7, “For there are three that testify;”

Honest curiosity: why does “KJB” bother you when “KJV” doesn’t?
I can just about live with the title KJv.

KJV may suggest someone has gone to great lengths to spread the word.

But still his name should not be stamped on the front of it.

KJB is an escalation of that where a person starts to idolise a person rather than the holy spirit.

I've said it to many others, I might as well say it to you:

If all you do is compare the KJV to the NIV (or to any other translation), all you can demonstrate is that there are differences. You can't prove that either is correct, you can't prove that either is corrupted, you can't prove anything other than the existence of differences.

To claim anything beyond that is to assume a whole lot that you haven't actually stated, and even if you do state what you left out, the burden is on you to support your assertions with evidence.

No, it means the KJV includes it and the NIV doesn't. You haven't demonstrated with independent evidence that this belongs in the Bible.

You're welcome to your belief, but I disagree; I think that misuse of the available Scripture does far more damage. The SDA's, Mormons, JW's, and other aberrant groups didn't start with "corrupted Bibles" but with mishandling of the Bible they had.

It's the same problem with many "preachers" today.
I see you know a little about the Jehovah's Witnesses. They used a King James until 1951, and because their doctrines were crushed by the reading of the K.J.B. the decided to write their own. They thrive on the A. and B. text.

Why doesn't it concern you and others that there is so much confusion in basic doctrinal teachings? Look, all I'm doing is sharing information. Maybe you don't care, and that's fine with me. Use any Bible you wish but beware of God's warning in Revelation 18:18-21. The church today reminds me of a piece of paper that's been run through a shredder, and that concerns me.

The Muslims also disparage (even by killing them) people who have corrupted their scriptures.

The same spirit is at work within the KJV-only crowd.

Any way, here's a KJV quote "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire."

I'm so glad that being a son of God is not a cognitive exercise but, rather, a function of the Holy Spirit living within us. That way a certain KJV Bible, ultimately commissioned because a man banged another woman who was not his wife and got her pregnant and the Roman Pope would not give the man a right of divorce, does not get the final say in the judgment of our souls. That is reserved for the Living God, Christ, alone.

K.J. Version 1 John 4:9, “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.”

N.I.V. 1 John 4:9, “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.”
As the only begotten Son, proves the relationship between the Father and the Messiah, who as the viceregent of the Father, is figuratively called His Son, and whom therefore the Father is figuratively said to beget, also to appoint, to declare as a king. Acts 13:33, “Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.”
---------------------------------------------------------------

Isaiah 66:24, “For their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched;” is quoted in,

K.J. Version Mark 9:44 and 46, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”

N.I.V. Verse has been left out. Those condemned to hell will have their sins with them for all eternity.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

K.J. Version, John 5:3, “Waiting for the moving of the water.”

N.I.V. John 5:3, The above has been left out.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

K.J. Version, John 5:4, “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.”

N.I.V. The verse has been removed.
----------------------------------------------

K.J. Version: 1 John 4:3, “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

N.I.V. 1 John 4:3, “but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.”

Actually the proof that the NIV and all modern translations are corrupt has been well-document and established. So the burden of proof is on you that the only thing that has been proved are differences.
Since the OP did not cite any alleged evidence for the corruption of modern translations, the burden of proof is on him.

Ninety seven percent of the know 5500 + manuscripts agree with the text of the King James, that's proof enough.

1 Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing (deceiving) spirits, and doctrines of devils;”

And here we all stand in the latter days, and have to ask, “Why are so many people and churches failing away in America?”

I no longer find it hard to believe that so-called shepherds of the Christian faith have fallen so low as to make enemies with the Lord Jesus, but they have; sadly, many others will follow. Four signs were noticed and reported outside four different churches that called themselves Christian.

The first outdoor sign was a two-sided sign outside of a Lutheran church; it read, “Everything Jesus said about homosexuality see other side.” The other side was empty.

At a Methodist church, the following was on the marquee. “Humans are one family, so make peace with your family Quran 49:10.

The third sign was outside an Angelicin church; it read, “Jesus had two dads, and he turned out just fine.”

The 4th was outside of a Unitarian Universalism church. It read, “Bible study 7 P.M. Bring Bible and scissors.”
