As far as being unequally yoked goes, if we were already married and I became a believer I would try to help the believe. If then they refused, I would stay faithful to the lord as well as my wife. I would still love her but I would always put the lord first. Who knows maybe she would see the lord working in my life and she would want to become a believer. I would stay with her.
This is very inspiring, Jacob. You are going to be a great blessing to the right believing woman out there.

I love my eggs lol......just not boiled 🤢. Poached eggs are my favorite but they have to be on grams toast with salt and pepper. They are delicious.
Wow.

Between your Gram's homemade hand pies (infamously mentioned -- and fought over -- in other threads,) and now her toast, which must be just as good, I think Gram needs to open her own little cafe -- which we will then all promptly storm!

Great post :D

I like omelettes (if I am the one making them) and I like over hard eggs. Next choice would be hardboiled egg or scrambled. I'm not a fan of soft or runny eggs. I'm not opposed to the person I'm eating with having runny or soft eggs. I'm more concerned with table manners as far as food goes. In other words, it'd be preferable if they eat their egg with their mouth closed, I certainly don't need to see the runny yolk at that point
Awesome avatar! I've been a big Garfield fan since I was a kid. :D

Good point about table manners being more important than how the eggs are cooked...

It's been interesting to read that almost everyone here is really, really turned off by runny eggs. (I have a couple family members who love them while I can't stand runny eggs, so I've never been sure of how "normalized" this was or not.)

Welcome to CC! :)

There is one thing I must mention in this thread.

It WILL step on some people's theology.

It is true anyway.

Peanut butter and eggs go together very well.

Swipe some peanut butter on a hard boiled egg and eat it. Melt some peanut butter in some fresh scrambled eggs. However you combine them, they just go well together.

Don't knock it till you rock it.

wouldn't even think about it. no, not a bother. no. no. no. i like sunny side up, scrambled & poached. i do not like omelets. no heathen egg fixings.
I was sad to read that omelets are apparently part of the heathen egg fixings (I love omelets, but they have to be completely solid -- no jiggly centers!) but I can completely respect your egg choices. :)

I have also been a fan of Garfield since I was a kid! I remember trying to patiently wait till Garfield was on tv.

My folks liked runny eggs. They liked dunking their toast into the runny yolk. I would be the only person at the table with over hard eggs. Nothing to do with runny eggs, but I was actually allergic to chicken eggs as a child. My mother had to feed me quail eggs instead (my great grandfather raised quail). It's funny how interesting eggs are :D

Thank you for the welcome!! :giggle:

I try to stay open-minded but... that sounds like a Crime Against Cuisine.

Get thee behind me, Internet Cat!

A lot of people have mentioned omelette...

I must mention the best way I have found to eat an omelette, regardless of what
is in it, is with salsa and sour cream on top of it. Cheese omelette, mushroom omelette,
western omelette - all of them taste better with salsa and sour cream on top.
Sour cream makes everything better... .:giggle:

salsa fixes omelets as well as fumbled yolks, that is those that are unintentionally broken and so then might as well be scrambled.
Or in this case, perhaps over-easy.
My kids referred to them as "bubble eggs." These fix the problems associated with toast... of which, "my burned-end is light."

Also, I think you are God loving women. I'm sure there is a faithful God loving man that the lord will put in your life......if that is what you would like. You seem like a kind hearted woman as well. I remember seeing your picture on another forum, you are pretty too. You will make a great wife to the right man.....if that is what you would like. Just stay faithful and the lord will bless you no matter what you do😊

I prefer my yolks fumbled if I am not willing to make an omelet or scramble... .:D

Soooooooo much better than either choice of over easy or over hard. Yuck!

I even toss one out of three hard boiled egg yolks. LOL

I've never liked hard boiled eggs yolks and always give them to family members who like them if possible.

Hooray for throwing off those heavy yolks and finally going free at last! 😬

Indeed, it is not easy to get the perfect boil, while the yolk is still orange just before it begins turning yellow but if it turns green...no, no, Sam I am.

Scrambled all the way. Omlettes are good, too. And like others, no runny eggs. But I always pick scrambled. I know the names of others, but don't even know how they're cooked. Don't need to. Scrambled!

Howdy Carrie and welcome to the forum.

I had to google this one, just because I got curious.

Well. Learn something new every day.

Also, it seems you might want to avoid parakeets for some reason.
