God's goodness abounds and we should tell more of it than we do. If all of His deeds were written in a book...

During the recent cold spell, I noticed that one of the feral cats that frequent my door, so long that I named it Peppercorn, had been missing for over a week. Although I was leaning towards worrying over its welfare, silly as some might think that is of me, and what might have befallen it, I sought comfort from the Lord and was quieted by the thought, "it scatted after its home base was disturbed when you redirected parcel deliveries to the porch...it being more on the timid side than the other two." And so, I rested on this revelation... And this morning, Peppercorn has returned like a furry little prodigal!

Thank you, Lord!

I prayed for my friend's golden retriever. It was getting skinnier and slowly dying. The vet said Samson would not live long.

I prayed God would give him a healthy, normal life and lifespan. Last I heard, the dog had somehow, some way, started getting better.

I love my litte Jack Russell. She is spoiled rotten, but she never really misbehaves. I tell her Jesus loves her, and so much that His own breath keeps her alive and in my company. I tell her all aabout Jesus and she gets big eyed and very loving. Who needs to shout at her, she seems to be more into Him than most believers.
I have told her enver to worry aaabout her life should she sleep because His breath goes back to Him and that life given her will go on and on........... I believe that..

Scripture tells us to lay all our cares at the feet of Jesus. And we do well if our faith is strong
enough to do so. :)

"Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook?...Can you pet him like a bird or put him on a leash for your maidens? (Job 41:1-5)"

I wished I had a white cat, and two feral white kittens show up (along with the third, Peppercorn). I call the lighter one Sugar but I can't seem to come to a final decision for a name for the creamier colored one. I'm currently considering DoubleStuf because she's getting chunky, and possibly changing Peppercorn's to "Oreo" until I can capture their purrsonalities with the right name. My son came the closest calling Peppercorn "Church" from Pet Semetary because he looks really as scraggly as a reflection of his portion in this world and the challenges he (or she) encounters daily. And all he knows how to communicate is by a hiss, even when his two siblings are only nuzzling him. There are times that it seems that he is attempting a mew but then apparently thinks, 'aw forget it,' and hisses out the rest of the thought.

Also, I imagined a snoopy-like, and a Benji/toto-like puppies, not to mention the big burmese-like cat that I knew was mine when I saw the pic of him on the pet shop's website. Strangely, these all seem to be my brain children so that I recognized them, and even stranger, they recognized me at first meeting. I pretty sure even the children which we given me designed exactly as I had wished.

I often return to this Job 41 chapter to remind me of God's power shown in leviathan.

This time being that I had browsed through headlines of what struck me as a media leviathan, reporting on cultural the cultural and political leviathans and was overwhelmed by the enormity of it all.

According to membean.com, the Exemplary Word: leviathan, means "something that is large, powerful, difficult to control, and rather frightening."

But, relative to the LORD, it's hardly as frightening as my green-cheeked conure.

*this is just a generic pic, not my bird exactly

I'm reminded that "bleppercorn" fits best so far, since he usually bleps immediately after hissing, in order to alleviate any alarm this might cause me, I think, since it is somewhat comical. He doesn't blep as much lately, but I'll try to get a pic of this phenomenon when I have my camera at hand (maybe even a video, if there is a capability to upload them), as well pics of Sugar (or more fittingly, Splenda, because she seems to be more low than she is sweet) and DoubleStuf.

This is bleppercorn, who my daughter calls Scar and my son call Church, and who started out being referred to a "Hisser" I think its the only language she knows

I think this is Sugar, I can't ever tell Sugar unless she is next to Cream, and then I can also tell which would be given the new name Doublestuff. It seems that I can recognize Cream even when she's all by herself though, if that makes sense.

Who always runs for at my approach cover, but so does Sugar most times... but Blepper, who the Mr calls Gimly is brave enough to stand and greets everyone with a hiss.

...out from hiding now that I'm behind the barrier of the screen.

I'd always wanted a "Mewsette" (from Gay Purr-ee) or a "Duchess" (from the Aristocats) and apparently I now have both, with a bonus Freebie.

Earlier, more than a month or so ago, I privately approached a sister for prayer in concern for my son's health while sending my own with tears. I did not provide her with very much detail about his situation, but I want to offer an update as I recently received news of its turnaround. Having successfully remedied his issues, he has been taken off all the meds he'd been prescribed! Well, all but one, so I now look forward to resolution of that persistent issue as well! His mercy endures forever
