they're pressuring one manufacturer of them to stop making the seats look like animals, and prefer they resemble cars, bulldozers, rainbows and shooting stars, or brooms. they feel the animal theme conveys the idea animals are to be used as conveyances () and for amusement.
apparently, children who ride carousels grow up to be heartless.
