this is not 15-20 years ago. the t v media cannot be trusted.
I would have thought that by now every Christian would be aware the the New York Times is the last place to go to for any valid information. They originated Fake News.

...but lately they've become much more aggressive, as was demonstrated on January 6. This picture says it all.
Do you seriously believe the Leftist lies about January 6? The only thing that was evident was agents provocateurs from the FBI making sure that a peaceful demonstration turned into a riot. Calling it an "insurrection" was a deliberate falsehood, and Liz Cheney and her gang of liars have all been exposed.

Now the terms "Christian Nationalism", "Christian Nazis", "Domestic Terrorists", "White Supremacists" etc are all being used by the American Communist/Fascist/Racist Party to smear conservative, law-abiding citizens, and promote lawless actors like BLM , Antifa, and FBI as the "good guys".

Whether you like it or not, Christianity and Christian principles have undergirded the polity of America until very recently. Here is what the Pledge of Allegiance says:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America; and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The Communists who now run the country hate God, hate America, hate Christians, hate conservatives, and hate everything that is right, good, and moral. So Christian Nationalism is not necessarily a bad thing (although I have no connection with it).

I watched the segment in this broadcast and have to say Bradley Onishi knows exactly what he's talking about. NAR elements are driving a lot of Christian nationalism; as well as as Charismatic and Word of Faith leaders. One only has to recall Trump's pick for "spiritual advisor," the prosperity preacher Paula White. I'm not saying anyone associated with one of these groups is evil; I'm just stating facts about Christian nationalism.

Came across a good article this morning. I don't agree with the author's statement that it's a "Roster of Pentecostals" though. Most of the people he mentions are Word of Faith leaders: With FlashPoint Live, Roster of Pentecostal ‘Prophets’ Hits the Road for Trump.

People did break laws and should have consequences. But, as you suggest, there were hundreds of government minions who instigated and led in illegal behavior who were never punished. Those responsible for increased security refused it. Fake bombs were staged and conveniently found and reported. Video evidence was censored. Court documents are conveniently lost. They have cell phone data for everyone that day, except somehow the cell phone data in restricted areas where the fake bombs were placed was corrupted.
I could go on but I'd have to put on my tinfoil robe to continue. A tinfoil hat will only protect you so much these days.

Yes I agree all this occurred, yet I am reluctant to call it a "false flag" in that I do not think it was instigated by the government but rather government agents used the situation to create an even worse situation.

I tend to view 'false flag" a little more narrowly, but I am always glad when people are awake. ;):)

Christian nationalism

This term is a complete contradiction within the New Testament framework but he gives it its own definition so it sounds biblical.

Ok, hold on... wait just a minute.

I wasn't there, didn't plan on being at the Jan 6th thing. But...there is a stark contrast between what happened there and the riots we have seen from antifa, etc.

I remember seeing the videos...it was like they were almost taking a tour with people walking around. They didn't ransack the place, burn it down, or break the place up. Okay a few did things a little stupid. But if they had really wanted to take over. They could have and done a lot of damage. For a little bit.

No it seems to me that this is more about a bunch of self righteous politicians being all butt hurt because"their" sacred space was violated.

And you simply cannot deny that the lack of video evidence from that particular building, it's gotta have thousands of the best cameras money can buy, with multiple back ups...screams that something is rotten in Denmark.

It was engineered from the get-go. How one characterizes it means little. I was simply employing a term I thought would help another poster understand.

Ok Cameron--I must be out of the loop on this one. Is there a theory with concrete evidence that left-wing extremists stirred up the mob?

Did you not watch John Earl Sullivan -- a BLM activist -- who was there (along with others) to stir up the mob (and not all were in that mob).

Self-proclaimed journalist John Sullivan convicted on all charges in Jan. 6 riot case
John Earle Sullivan, a [black] 29-year-old from Utah also known as "Jayden X," was convicted of seven counts after just a few hours of deliberation by the jury. Federal prosecutors requested that Sullivan be taken into custody until his sentencing, and U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth ordered him remanded, according to court records. The charges included felony obstruction of an official proceeding and civil disorder...

“I was only observing,” Sullivan said in his trial testimony. “I followed the crowd. I’m there to document.” But the government said that shooting video was just a “ploy” for Sullivan, and played video after video of him urging on the mob on Jan. 6.

Ray Epps was another instigator who got away practically scot free. And no one will really know how many others from BLM, Antifa, and the FBI were there. All this people were carefully protected and not charged with anything. But the innocent were put into a Gulag and given lengthy sentences.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg. No one will really know the truth, since this was a plot to discredit anyone who questioned the theft of the presidential election.

No, I have been out of the loop on this perspective until this discussion forum. The Left wants to hold Trump responsible, and that's been the focus of the "news" I've seen recently. Tragic

If that was the only issue it would be minor. But there was a witch hunt to round up people (some of which were not even present) and charge them with "insurrection". After that they were placed under inhuman conditions in a Gulag, and then given unreasonable and unjust lengthy sentences. All because the Leftists did not want to the truth to come out.

Then we had Liz Cheney and her gang of liars doing everything possible to make Donald Trump responsible, even though he was at a different location with huge numbers of supporters, and even though he asked the people at the Capitol to be peaceful.

Everyone has simply stood by and allowed all these injustices to go unpunished. Above all an illegitimate president (with serious cognitive problems and dementia) has been allowed to totally destroy America.

Personally I agree with you. I think this falls into the butt hurt category and something is rotten in Denmark.

My comment was directed primarily to those that seem to feel the government is being completely altruistic and honest.

There are several professors, one from Calvin College who is very negative and put Christians in a very negative light, horrible book.
So there is that flip side to be aware of, some people use this"movement" to tarnish some well meaning Christians who are dismayed societal collapse.

Agree though, it is important to be aware of this movement, some have made it a hindrance to the Gospel message.
I'm disturbed that there is a professor from Calvin who is stirring up strife. Do you know what his name is?

I live in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area, and Calvin College is a respected Christian College here. I've spent many hours in their world class library that facilitates great research opportunities.

The mob as you put it was largely calm. They were simply peaceably assembled. It was a massive group of people. A few did some things they shouldn't have. But your depiction as a "mob" means you have already succumbed to the idea that is a false narrative. BLM used mobs. ANTIFA used smaller mobs. They broke laws and destroyed property. This was by design. What happened at the Capitol was for the most part nothing like that. Do you really think police could have controlled a group of that size had it become a mob. The whole town would have been trashed.
I do think you should view as much tape from that day as possible. So much more has come out that refutes the left wing narrative. Also, alot has come out about government operatives in the crowd who incited the criminality that occurred.
Another aspect is the tape that has the police being told to fire upon those peaceably assembling in order to agitate an otherwise peaceful assembly.
All that I have mentioned and much more is available to you if you really want to know what happened. But you will have to overcome the bias that already exists because you have trusted biased resources. The idea that those who gathered were a mob is simply wrong. But if this is your first thought concerning the events, you will inevitably be skeptical when other information is presented.

Yes I would agree about Calvin College, I was indeed shocked she teaches there.

I will look it up and post later. It is a woman btw. :)
