I don't think so. For quite a while it was glitchy, and many threads were made about it,
and work-arounds suggested, but because the app was not kept updated, it was removed
from the play store or wherever it was that people downloaded it. Many of us here in the
forums rarely if ever frequented the chat rooms, and those that frequented the chat
rooms seemed to only come here to ask if it was working, or how to make it work.

Not gonna happen IMO. EVERY month a message about funding the site, yet around 7 years without using any of that funding to update his chat, that is literally called Christian CHAT.
Maybe take down all the stuff about this being a Christian chat room? Some people who donate, get the impression, their money goes for a chat room, yet those donations aren’t obviously being applied to keep said chat room up to date.
It’s right in front of our noses.
Just pitch this site as a forum, otherwise it’s a bit misleading to some people giving their hard earned money.

Seriously, if the site owner has something going on in their life, that is so significant, so severe, so time consuming, that they can’t update the app even once in half a decade, maybe it’s a signal one needs to just let this thing go and tend to the IMPORTANT thing(s) keeping you too occupied to update.. Like I said, we ain’t stupid. A few months with no updates because something in life came up, very understandable. But HALF A DECADE, when you’re receiving monthly funds from users, many who have a reasonable expectation that the money is being applied to a chat app, since the FRONT page literally says it has a real time chat, COME ON MAN!

Well... I mean... There's not much anybody here can do about it. Whatever the truth here is, I know I can't affect it much.
I consider the Forum as ephemeral as chat. I use it while it is here but I don't depend too heavily on it. It may close down tomorrow. Or it may stick around for 30 years more.
I use what is here while it is here. If live chat returns, it returns. If it doesn't, it doesn't. If the Forum goes away too, it goes away too.
