for the Unjust/Nonelect/Unsaved whose names are not written in The Book of Life?

Revelation 21:27
There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb

He died for the world (John 3)

But only those who are born again will receive his gift. We are born again by receiving his gift in faith. (again John 3)

John 3:5
Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John 3:20
For every one that doth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, that his works may not be reproved.

John 3:21
But he that doth truth, cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, because they are done in God.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Jesus died for everyone, however just because Jesus dies for you does not automatically make you saved. We are saved by grace, THROUGH faith, so faith needs to be present.

What Jesus' death did was atone for sins, but just like in the old covenant if one did not humble themselves, the atonement was not applied.

Revelation 21:27
There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭32:33‬ ‭

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18:4‬ ‭
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:6-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:15‬ ‭

it seems as if all begin in the book of life and then are blotted out when they reject the lord

Well said. (y)

Questions, just for consideration:

Is God just?
Is it just to punish someone for a debt that has been paid?

Depends on how you look at it. Before Jesus's sacrifice, everyone was ungodly. There was no sacrifice for sins available.
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

After His sacrifice, our sins can be forgiven but only the called out. The call goes out to the whole world but only those who answer God's call are the elect.
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ

Those written in that Book at that time are the redeemed of the Lamb.
That doesn't mean that they did not lie when they were in their mortal bodies of flesh.

The first statement is a Calvinist teaching .
You will stir the pot here with that since I understand that there are a few.
It was easily debunked in my study yesterday.
If you are really wanting to know, because you aren't sure, I will take my lunch break to teach that. If you just want to debate, as many visitors do, then I need to eat.

God does not punish anyone who has paid their debt to Him.
well then we shall crash and burn because we can never ever no matter what repay a thing to God

Jesus paid our debt

Roman 4:4
Now to him that worketh, the reward is not reckoned according to grace, but according to debt.
we do not work for salvation.

Get thee to a Bible study :giggle:

No Christ didnt die for them, nor did God love them.
Calvinism is a plague on the gospel and the devil's plan to confuse both saved and unsaved

For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit, I Peter 3:18

See that? ONLY Christ is righteous as He was when He died for us...when He took our place as the object of the wrath of God...and He did so as the final sacrifice for ALL time. The unrighteous are all without Christ but who become the righteousness of God in Christ when a person accepts Christ and acknowledges that He alone can save

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. II Corinthians 5:21

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

You should practice putting the whole passage so we can see context.

I don't understand your point. Can you elaborate?
