4Jesus answered and said to them, Be careful that no man deceives you. 5For many will come in my name, and say, I am the Christ, and they will deceive many. Matthew 24:4-4

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. John 6:63

You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. John 14:28

And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. John 17:5

For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done. Matthew 16:27

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3

Hint: Philippians 2:9-11 and Roman 10:9 two different names to confess.

Yes, there are a lot of bible verses express how powerful is the name of Jesus.
Here are few of them.

Philippians 2:9-10
For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

ACTS 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

MARK 16:17-18
17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

That is why when I listen to different preachers they frequently say the literal name of Jesus.
Each of them are performing miracles in Jesus name.

But Christianity is divided into thousands of denominations.
Every denomination has is own doctrine to salvation.

The truth is, Jesus taught only one way of salvation to his disciples.
Since Jesus who gave the commandment to use his name, therefore only Jesus could explain or reveal how to use his name.

As Jesus said he is speaking in spiritual things.
JOHN 6:63
63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

And Jesus is not speaking in literal meaning and he revealed it to Paul.
2 CORINTHIANS 3:6
6
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

John 17:2-3~ You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.:)

Yup. Currently there's a man named Rav Shlomo Yehuda that those in Israel are claiming might be the Messiah. He's done some miracles, apparently. I can see how many could potentially flock to and be fooled to believe. Even with Jesus's warning, people will still be deceived. ☹️

Just saying Jesus' name doesn't mean his ability.

The Gospel of Matthew
7:21 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
7:22 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
7:23 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
7:24 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
7:25 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Only by correctly learning what Jesus taught. And teach others correctly in the name of Jesus.

These are all very important verses which teach us that the name of "Jesus" has great authority.
But we need to step back and see why this is so, and that is through His Hebrew name. In Hebrew "Jesus" is "Yeshua" which is a derivative of "Yehoshua" יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ
(and the name "Joshua" is a translation of this word in the OT). Yeshua is actually YAH (God) + SHUA (Salvation). and that means "GOD IS [OUR] SALVATION". So Jesus is not only our Savior but He Himself is our salvation. He is our righteousness and He is our sanctification. And all power in Heaven and on earth has been given to Him by God the Father (Mt 28:18).

That's interesting. Even though God says He never knew those types of people, it sounds like they were still able to cast out demons in Jesus's name.

Sounds like Rav Shlomo comes in his own name.
I believe Jesus is talking about people who come in his name in the Olivet discourse.

Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

They say they did.And they may have thought they did.But I doubt they ever did.

The Gospel of Mark
9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

This situation is similar to,1 Corinthians
3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
3:5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

What's the point of posting these verses? Yes, they are good verses, but how do they relate to the OP Title

If they never did, the issue would not even have come up.
They asked Jesus if they had cast out devils in his name and his answer is ,I never knew you,Away from me ,you evil doers.

Jesus did not say ,yes you did many wonderful things in my name as you say.His answer is you are evildoers.

Mathew 7:22-23

How in the world do you get a yes out of Jesus answer to their question?

Jesus did not say ,yes you did many wonderful things in my name as you say.His answer is you are evildoers.
I think Jesus is referring here to actions which are done not in truth and sincerity.

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

In other words, one can be evildoer while they seemingly do good actions.
