As concerning the gospel, Israel is an enemy. But to God, they are beloved for the elect's sake. God elected the nation of Israel to serve his purpose in bringing forth the seed, the Messiah. Election is never to salvation, but service. The RCC priest, John Calvin, was a false teacher.
I am the Israel of God, because I am the elect of God. He chose His elect before he created the world, so John Calvin was 100% right.

Where does the bible say that election is to service and not salvation. Satan serves God too, just as every single person is under the control of God but they are not chosen to salvation.

Satan has to ask for permission before He can destroy you, nobody can do anything unless God allows them to do it. God is not a bystander watching Satan kill people, He is the Big Boss who commands everyone.

The problem is Charlie you haven't even been a believer of tulip very long,.you told me as much last week.

Secondly Charlie you approved the idea that linking total depravity with grace is a recipe for disaster.

And now your back tracking on your word.

The doctrine of tulip is a man made label.

And as you can see a flower has been used to define something horrible like total depravity.

Common on Charlie, who in the right mind looks at a flower and thinks total depravity
The TULIP was formulated by combining the relevant scriptures to debunk your heretical Arminian gospel.

The accusation was made by John Calvin 500 years ago, where he exposed Jacob Arminius as a fraud. All of the scriptures in the TULIP table condemn the Arminian heresy, and nobody has ever defended that doctrine of Demons successfully so it remains Biblically condemned.

You shouldn't invest all of your stock in such a scam, I was deceived by that heresy for many years. I'm so glad and thankful, that God opened my spiritual eyes to see the heresy for what it is and come out of it's spell.

Jesus was God’s elect servant.

Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Israel was God’s elect nation to serve his purpose.

Isaiah 45:4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

God has elect angels serving his purpose.

1 Timothy 5:21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

All of these are elect to service not salvation.

This is a trick question, so the answer is yes and no. Yes God does keep all men are captive, before and after the fall. But the elect are free in Christ, after regeneration.

So we are still technically captive, but we are free to do Gods will in Christ. So we are free and slave at the same time.

I know you're gonna try to wiggle out of my headlock, but I will not let you go o_O

Your insulting intelligence again, obviously God being a father keeping people captive before the age of accountability is because there all capable of being taken by satan.

Yep, there you go running with your tail between your legs. I have offered my house to anyone who can find a single shred of evidence to support this theory that a third option exists. So far nobody has claimed the free house and everyone who attempted to claim it all said the same thing.
They said they saw it, but it only shows itself to them because they can see ghosts and monsters while the rest of us can't.
The third option is that of being a Christian. I follow Christ, not man.

The Lord Jesus Christ is Jehovah God, He is the Almighty Creator of all things which exist. Jesus was never created, but He created all things. The Holy Trinity have always existed, in eternity past and they will exist in eternity future. So it's ridiculous to say God elected Jesus to be a servant.

God came into the world as the baby of Mary, and He lived a double life, as fully God and fully man at the same time. So He came into the world to save His elect from the penalty of sin, that's His service to us and obedience to His Father.

Most people have trouble to get their head around the fact that God is three Persons yet One Godhead. Nobody can grasp this reality because it's too much for any mortal man to process in his mind.

The word "elect" is used many times in different context in the Bible, we can't apply the same meaning of the word to all the various contexts, found in the Bible. It must be understood in it's intended context, it's used differently under the old covenant which describes people under that old covenant but when Jesus came He included Gentiles so now it's no longer national Israel but spiritual Israel, which includes all ethnic groups and nationalities.

Nobody has a choice in the matter, every single person has been bon into captivity and slavery to Satan. There is no such thing as being capable of being taken by Satan. We all are at birth, but God saves His elect out of slavery and liberates them and gives them eternal life in paradise.

OK, so you're a closet Calvinist. Because only the elect of God hear His voice, the rest only hear the Devils voice.

Under the NT, elect is never to salvation, but concerning them who are already saved. The believers are elected to serve God's purpose on earth.

During the tribulation there will be an elect group to serve God's purpose during this time of Jacob's trouble. See Matthew 24.

Election is never to salvation. Never.

If you look hard enough you will find it, but then again God said, "they will diligently seek Me but I will hide from them" and the things of God are foolishness to those who are perishing. Hope this helps

First of all, it is evident you don't even know what Calvinism and Arminianism is about. It's also obvious you don't want to know the the awful truth about the matter, because you would be forced to choose a side. We all know ignorance is bliss, I'm not here to spoil the party for anyone.

But the our position on this is essential, as it get's to the heart of theology. These two present different God's, before us. We can't choose to believe in both God's as they contradict each other. One God says, you are saved by your works and the other says, I save My elect for my own good pleasure and I leave the rest in their sin.
I do know what Calvinism and Arminianism is about.
you have been so good to show me. Rude, condescending attack others, and think you know it all.

Calvinism the ism is the problem. as you said "ignorance is bliss, I'm not here to spoil the party for anyone. "

The Foundational truth of all scripture fall solely on Christ. You have yet to mention him once.

OK, if he's not an Arminian then he's a Calvinist as there is no third option. Many claim to have seen one, but we have no proof of it's existence until we find some evidence.

Nobody claimed that Saints persevere to the end, the bible doesn't attribute perseverance to the saints. It actually teaches that one of the signs of a true believer is they endure and persevere to the end, while fake Armenians fall away.

The Holy Spirit who abides in the elect of god that keeps us from falling away, so it's thanks to Him that the Saints never fall away or lose their salvation.

Sorry to disappoint your argument only proves that Calvinism is Biblically correct and Arminianism remains dead in the water.
there is the only option and Truth

The Lord Jesus Christ, who is greater than John Calvin and his Tulips

“”God does not give any reason why they will die if they eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, apart from the reason being that they ate of the forbidden tree.. What he implies is "If you eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you will die for that reason: because you ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

What we can say about this verse is that it does not say anything about there being such a consequence to the first sin as total depravity. There is not a hint here of the concept of total depravity.

So, will you admit that this verse does not mention total depravity?[/QUOTE]””

Man isn’t made to be conflicted between good and evil

were created to just hear what Gods saying and walk in that without even considering the evil contrary thing

when tbey consumed the knowledge of good and evil knowledge becomes part of the persons mind it becomes active in a mind that’s what knowledge is what a mind knows and operates by

Look at man here

“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden,

and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

….And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:8-9, 16-17, 25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Gods Will puts them in Eden freely eating from the tree of life if they choose only forbidden from the knowledge of good and evil “to be as gods “ making and taking responsability one’s own judgements and determinations between good and evil having the knowledge of both having already rejected Gods judgement which is transgression

They had to reject or dismiss what God said in order to accept what Satan said

If this is true

the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. “

This becomes a lie

“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

part of this is true but the lie in it is deadly and seperates man from the tree of life

“And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:22-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Man went from Gods Will hearing his word and walking to having the knowledge of good and evil inside our mind so now it’s this conundrum

“I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:21-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

a that’s not Gods design for us he forbid that onowedge when man was created because we aren’t made to posess tbat knowledge we’re made to just believe what God said remember all he said before they sinned ?

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

…And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27-28, 31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Now look after tbey partook of the knowledge of good and evil by believing Satans word rather than Gods word

“And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.( why is Adam afraid Gods done nothing but bless him and give him things and glory on earth ? )

And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

now the curses start to come because the knowledge evil has entered into man and become part of thier existsnce now

…Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3:9-11, 16-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Now man is exiled from Eden and sentenced to eventual death and returning to the dust he created us from because now he knows this will happen because man has dominion and is now corrupted God knew now eventually this was coming and just ten generations later it came

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. ( the knowledge of evil has corrupted mankind’s nature and they have corrupted the earth God created and gave to them for good )

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

(man partaking of the knowledge of good and evil made them sinners conflicted between good and evil and not those who simply followed thier God and fathers word )

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:5-7, 11-13‬ ‭

It's obvious to me that your knowledge of God's Word is very poor. You have obviously fallen victim to a false teacher, who convinced you to embrace the doctrine of Demons.

Your theology, is so twisted that you can't even understand the basic facts about the gospel of Jesus Christ. You expose you lack of knowledge and understanding when you say things like "elect is never to salvation", it really shows how confused you are. And you don't even qualify your theory with any relevant scripture.

I get the sense that you reject the truth of the gospel, because it's very offensive. God said the truth of the gospel has the stench of death to the reprobate and it is sweet smelling to His elect.

God said that the world hates Him and the gospel, so Devils came to deceive the world and lead it into hell.

I'm very concerned by your rejection of the bible doctrine of election and predestination, I can't understand why you want to kick God of His throne and seat yourself on His throne and decide who will be saved and wo will be left condemned in their sin. If you don't allow God to be sovereign over His creation, then that's exactly what you are doing.

Well, you can't make that assertion without qualifying it. Words are cheap, without a foundation and meaning

All you have to do is use your brain and connect the dots and the whole picture magically appears in your face.
Okay. So, you believe in magic. You stare at the text and use magic to connect the dots to interpret the Bible. I am trying to use basic comprehension skills and relying on context and the Holy Spirit to help me choose the most likely meaning of the actual words and grammar.
