Hi i just wanted to say God holds the power of life and death in the unbeliever to 😊
True
God can give life to anyone anywhere.

But God is just. God is sovereign and is not biased or partial. He is doesn't lie or make promises that He doesn't keep.

JUST. = JUSTICE.

The soul that sins shall die...Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die.

God can not allow the sinner to live for eternity... It is against the law God set in place. Sin = death

God loves us and wants us to live but sin = death.

God could Change the law.
Or He could let us all die.
Or He can let Jesus pay the price and save us without changeing the law.

The fact that Jesus died on the cross proves that the law could not be changed.

This is true but willfully sinning is different to unwillfull sinning.

For instance Jesus say Don't make my children stumble

God could Change the law. but that would be UNJUST
Or He could let us all die. but that would be UNLOVING

So God took it to another lever wher JUSTICE and MERCY, (LOVE) meet perfectly.

Jesus paid the price in full and satisfied the requirements of the moral law. He lived a sinless life. He died for our sins.
His perfect righteousness can be ours by faith and we can stand without fault (sinless before the judge)
Love and Justice.

We are only guilty of sin that we know.. If we are ignorant of sin Jesus will pay for it. We can't ask for forgiveness of something we don't know about. But it is still sin and Jesus still pays for it.

that would make Him unjust and partial. That would mean that Jesus didn't need to die for those sins or did not die for those sins.
It was jesus who said don't make my children stumble.

Someone was made to stumble in the garden.

But the difference is Jesus didn't leave them.

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

All sin... Sin is sin. We do ignorantly sin but it is still sin.

1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

This is true also.

Who is the the advocate,

It's Jesus

Jesus discerns the thoughts and motives of the heart

What was discerned in the heart of adam and eve before punishment was passed in genesis 3

They looked forward by faith for the promised saviour. By faith they trusted that God would solve the problem.

Jesus is the propitiation and our advocate with the father. Jesus covers us with His righteousness (100% perfect) so that we are not guilty.

All Adam and Eve needed to do (like us) is repent and ask for forgiveness. By faith we are saved.

agreed

The discernment of.Jesus in the gen 3

Was to determine who was responsible for the sin first.

After this was discerned Judgment was passed and the lord Jesus turned to the serpent and said because you have done this.

Who was held more responsible by God's judgment

they were guilty of sin, and the whole universe could see the sin they had done. The result of sin is eternal death.. Adam and eve died but they had a choice to make as to which resurection they would rise in. The first is for thr righteous and the second is for the unrighteous. God is judge of what what they choose (their motives) and they will come up in the 1st or 2nd resurrection.

Joh 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Rev_20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Sin is sin and all that sin = death.

Small or great it only takes one big or one small sin to result in death.

Judgement is for God to carry out.. The sins of the unforgiven will be on their own heads and that means God will punish the guilty.

Those that have done worse will suffer more then those less guilty but the end result for all the guilty (even the devil) is death.

Death will come to all the guilty. We can only be free from guilt by faith in Jesus.

Sin is sin is a bit of a closing argument to the question I asked.

The penalties for sin vary

Like for some sins the penalty was death like murder, for other Sins the penalty was exile from the community

Other Sins like a brother baring false witness against you, you are to purge the evil from him

Jesus also made it clear that His father despises the pain caused.to his children

He said who ever cause my children who believe in me to sin, is in big trouble

All sin is not the same in the eyes of the lord sorry can't agree sin is sin.
