You pray “Jesus, forgive me of my sins. Come into my life and save me. I believe that You died on the cross for me and I want you to be Lord of my life. I surrender my life to you Jesus right now. I receive you. Thank you for saving me.”

If you have prayed this prayer please let us know. It’s important to find a church to go to and tell the pastor what you gave done. If you can’t, then write this prayer out and sign it and date it and save it. It’s important to follow up with water baptism as a symbol of what you’ve done.

Here’s some scripture references
Roman’s 3:23, 5:8, 6:23, 10:9-10, 13.
Revelation 3:20.

Getting saved is the easiest thing in the Christian life, because you’re simply asking Jesus to come into your life. But it’s how you get everything else from God.

Say a prayer, "speak Exact words(?)", write it down, and save it to "be saved"?

Precious friend(s), I would say: Hardly; my second wife asked me after we
got married: "Did my prayer save me"?: my Biblical answer: No! Because:

"What Saith The Scripture?" about "What Must I do to Be Saved?",
Today, Under God's Grace!:

God's Responsibility:

"But God Commendeth His Love Toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners, Christ Died For us..." (Romans 5:8 AV)
"Being Justified Freely By His Grace Through The
Redemption That Is In Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:24 AV)
God's and man's responsibility:

"For By Grace Are ye Saved Through faith; and that Not of yourselves:
it is The Gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. "
(Ephesians 2:8-9 AV)
man's responsibility:

"Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ, and thou Shalt Be Saved!..."
(Acts 16:31 AV)

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the
Dead, thou Shalt Be Saved." (Romans 10:9 AV)

"Therefore we conclude that a man Is Justified by
faith without the deeds of the law." (Romans 3:28 AV)
"That we should be to The Praise Of His Glory, who first trusted
in Christ. In Whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard The Word
Of Truth, The Gospel of your Salvation:
In Whom also after that ye believed, ye were Sealed with That
Holy Spirit of Promise, Which Is The Earnest of our inheritance
until The Redemption of the Purchased possession, unto the
Praise Of His Glory. " (Ephesians 1:12-14 AV)

After receiving God's Free Gift Of Eternal Salvation, learn:
Therefore Being Justified by faith, we have Peace With God
Through our Lord Jesus Christ: By Whom also we have access
by faith Into This Grace Wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope
of The Glory of God." (Romans 5:1-2 AV)
+
"...Much more then, being now Justified By His BLOOD, we
Shall Be Saved From wrath Through Him. For if, when we
were enemies, we Were Reconciled To God By The Death
Of His Son, Much More, Being Reconciled, we Shall Be Saved
By His Life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through
our Lord Jesus Christ, By Whom we have now received The
Atonement." (Romans 5:9-11 AV)

Hence, believing, trusting, and placing 100% faith In God's
Gospel Of Grace! Given to Paul, for us:

"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ Died for our sins according to The Scriptures;
And that He was buried, and that He Rose again the third day
according to The Scriptures: " (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 AV)

Thus, there is no asking/speaking, but:

First,
belief, trust, and faith with "ALL your heart" allows God "To Save you!"

Then, after that, it would be the Right Time "to pray and Give
Thanks Unto God," eh?

-----------------------------------------

Follow-up with Confusing 'water' baptism? No, learn Scriptural Truth
first, and then "make your own decision" not on what multitudes of
Confused denominations say, But Based On The Truth God Says:

There is NO water Today, Under Grace = Only One [ Spiritual ] Baptism!

For God's Glory, bears Repeating:
One [ Unifying ] Baptism Cancels All Confusion!

Amen.

Well, one time I was a Case Manager at a prison and one of the inmates was going through a tough time with his family. So I told him that God could be there to protect his family even though he couldn’t. It led to talking to him about being saved. It wasn’t appropriate to pray there in the office so I wrote it down for him and told him he could sign it as a reminder. He came back the next day and told me he prayed it, and he almost started crying in my office. I also wrote down some scriptures on prayer and it was a joy to see him change and God work out the issues with his family.

Burn, it's a bit strange, being saved is not done reciting a formula, do you believe this? I don't.

a rich man asked Jesus how to be saved, hear the Jesus words, the son of GOD has to say;

Matthew, chapter 19, verses 16-26 in the King James Version:

"And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

Believing is receiving But as many received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on his name John 1:12

Yeah you’re right, everyone will have a different relationship with God and will pray the way they see fit.

Speaking those exact words are necessary to be saved?
Not necessary, but quite biblical. One could add "I believe that you rose again for my justification" (Rom 10:9). There could be many other ways that this faith is expressed, but God and Christ know hearts and that is what really matters. Regarding baptism, that too is biblical and is generally neglect.

There is no need to call it a "formula". It is the content that matters, and the content is quite acceptable. As I said there would be many other way of speaking to the Lord, and He will accept them all.

The Calvinists scoff at this, because they imagine that they do not have to speak to the Lord in this matter. And that is incorrect.

There are two baptisms. One is of God and the other is of man.

Being baptized by man isn't the baptism that saves.

I mean,if you really believe in Jesus, then why not learn how to pray from Jesus?

Anyone can pray GOD with a humble heart God always listens, giving a written phrase to read is not the way it is similar to vain repetitions that GOD warns us about, it must come from the heart, God Knows the heart of man from there if he sees a repentant heart willing to listen and repent he will work from there and send the comforter.
in the context it was done it appears acceptable and served as a guide but to propagate to use of any specific verse to be saved is not the way.

As usual you did not understand the words of Jesus, it is for you to search for the meaning figure out why he was not saved, but i think you may know why.

you can consult commentaries to help you with this.

What? Idk. Romans 10:13. A person can just pray a sinner’s pray “Lord forgive me a sinner.”

Why do you ask? Are you ministering to someone and they asked you that? Or are you asking for yourself?
