And, that the US is obviously not "one" would seem to imply that it is neither "under God" even though Jesus, died, was buried and rose again in order that we could be one...
One as brothers and sisters in Christ ... not one as a nation.

That conflation is a very, very dangerous thing.

ok, too late. I'm still thinking...

Relative to the discussion up to my posting. It has made me wonder at the thought of having two of the best candidates it would be like to have two of best candidates to choose from that'd make it hard who to decide which was the "lesser good". If only we had that problem.
Our system is actually rigged to push us in the other direction. The primary system guarantees that we have the most radical on both sides running against each other, instead of those who would meet in the middle.

I don’t think it’s appropriate.
Seems similar to other pictures when atheists want to make fun of Christians by showing Jesus with an AR15 and a MAGA hat.
I don’t find it appropriate.
I don't think that it appropriate either. Tried to cast a 'no' vote but the voting function wasn't working.

One under God implies a nation of brothers and sisters where only God is above the other.

It's being 'rigged' implies dishonesty has entered in, however craftily.

But we are not one nation, we are sorely divided. And under God is becoming a very, very small grouping.

So you don't believe that God has used America down through the years as a city on a hill? I don't consider America as chosen as Israel is, but I believe God has used America in ways He hasn't other countries.

To me the image clearly depicts a political message. What is the message? Jesus is a patriot and is on the side of Trump, MAGA, and the Republican party. If you want to be on Jesus' side, vote Republican. A lot of places are selling this and similar images on merchandise. It's a shameful exploitation of the Lord with political and financial motives.

I have valid concerns about a growing group of Christians
Or, God is revealing some things concerning certain people. The harvest is always tossed up the air that the chaff is blown away.
Not everyone who says unto me, Lord, Lord...

Christians are sealed and kept by God. They make mistakes, but aren't as you suppose. The way they vote and the reasons for it don't fall into neat little categories. And there are no perfect candidates from which to choose. But someone will be elected. And who is elected makes a great impact on many, many areas of life. Simply consider the difference in your own life now and 4 years ago. It's little wonder Jesus said the children of darkness are wiser in their generation than the children of light. We could use a few more sons of Issachar in our time.

Trump is the one causing believers to conflate the Cross with the flag. He's the one who claims to be Christian, yet leads Christians away from Gods ways. They're the ones looking for a worldly savior.

Rarely can you see so many false accusations in one place. Bravo.

The Bible tells us, repeatedly, that the world will end up in the hands of the antichrist.

Do you believe we can stop that from happening? (Did God ever tell us to stop it from happening?)

Do you believe we will get there via righteous leaders?

Yeah, that's exactly why we vote. To keep our religious and other freedoms.
Mammon worship, cheating workers, immorality, self idolatry, abandoning the poor sick and foreign, embracing lies and hypocrisies are not Christian values, yet they are the current-day values of the right. Are you really ready to give those up in the name of "freedom"? Did Jesus ever say to take other's freedoms away, even if they use that freedom to sin? Jesus told us to sin no more, but did He ever petition Rome to make it law?

Getting them to face the inconsistencies of their belief system is more effective.
Exactly. We are to woo sinners thru love, not mockery and ridicule.

Love your enemy IS a charge Jesus gave us. A charge many Christians today have also abandoned.

You know, the biggest problem with deception is that those being deceived don't know they are.

Truth is only available to those who are willing to question what they think they know. So many today claim to have the truth, yet never question it.
