My friend, Most can now explain accurately what is Calvinism.

Many understand it as a nickname for the gospel itself, when fully explained.

If a person opposes the gospel, they are currently in a lost condidtion, yes.
It could be they believe in Jesus, but do not understand salvation, or it's parts.

We cannot see their heart, but we can see the foolish posts, that describe ungodly thought and opposition to Jesus and the Apostles truth as described in scripture.
I believe in the death, burial, and resurrection for sins, but I totally reject Calvinism. I am not in opposition to the Lord or his word. I am in opposition to a Catholic Priest names John Calvin and his fatalist theology.

So I’m gonna go into each one of these false religions, dissect it, and come back after all my research and say “Hey everyone, I just did a long study of Satanism and I can actually see where these people are coming from. And after talking with different Satanists, they are actually regular people just like us. But there seems to be a slight problem with accepting Jesus. They’ve even given me a lot of scripture showing me where satan was actually the victim and according to their study, Satan should have inherited everything, but Jesus slipped in ahead of Him.”

Is that what I need to do here, is listen to a guy, or look at the scriptures you’ve dug out to try to justify why election is so important and is literally the crux of getting a spiritual breakthrough like no other?

The burden of proof is not on me. God doesn’t require me to go live as a Muslim, or go learn why Mary is exalted, or why Joseph Smith dug up his yard looking for lost treasure, or all the ins and outs of the Jehovah’s Witness, or why only an elect can be saved.
You sound really foolish. Are you a child who found your parents computer unattended?

The teaching belongs to Jesus, and the Apostles. Not Calvin. He read his bible and commented on it.
Has anyone quoted Calvin today?
Do you understand the terms you are using? Islam is fatalistic, Christianity is not,

Well that sounds familiar. Look man, you sound like a very smart person with a lot of knowledge. I would challenge you to examine your own heart about God’s plan for you and what your ministry is and to whom. A Christian’s job is to give up his life for others for the purpose of bringing them to Jesus and seeing them have success. Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost, and those included the Samaritan woman and her whole village. Jesus also said to “Love your neighbor as yourself.”’The disciples wanted to justify only ministering to certain individuals so Jesus told them of the Good Samaritan. Jesus says in Rev 3:20 “… if any man…”

I would challenge any supposed teacher to William J. Seymour (1870-1922). This is who we need to learn from.

If you believe God has determined everyone’s fate, then that’s fatalism.

Okay, fair enough. The next step after salvation is receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and usually speaking in tongues follows.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Blessed and Happy are those who God in mercy Draws savingly to Himself. We are told by the Apostle Paul we are blessed with all spiritual blessings, what could possibly go wrong with this???
I don't know really what to say. This is huge! I love this! Its not going to bless us but "has" blessed us. Not with some but "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ," Did you get that? "all spiritual blessing". What's left there is nothing left. All is all and that's all all means.

Not suer what you mean by "what could go wrong with this". Now maybe I missed what your getting at and it was not about all spiritual blessing but salvation, elect, blah blah blah. That free gift was to the world and its not changed. I like how one said it.. I came to give you a birthday gift. Do you come over and beg, cry asking for it? No you just take it, you freely receive it. So we need to know God is not counting up and holding against mankind their trespasses, but canceling them 2nd Cor 5:19. Sin has been canceled He died for the worlds sin. Man has to repent become born again. Are we sharing this good news? No just going back and forth with other believers. Spiritual blessings, to just skip over it. Were talking about .. hmm a place we are to be walking in all the time. Gal.. we walk in the spirit we are to be led by the spirit. filled with the spirit (Eph 5:18)

If God said to you "I have blessed you with ever spiritual blessing" do you just say ok thanks. NO! Me" OH man I want to know more.. tell me everything... its like being told your a joint heir with Jesus Christ. To know as Isaac was we are the children of promise. All those promises are ours. And its because of Him.. Yeshua/Jesus Christ the lamb of GOD.. the gift to the world. We did nothing what so ever.. our righteousness comes just because we believe in Christ. Every time I get stuck here.. I can't leave.. I have to forever and ever and ever praise and thank Him. I know what I am..but oh I so want to know to believe to fully understand how He now sees me through what my lord has done. Don't you get those moments like now when you think.. I can't let one second go by with out thanking praising Him..then.. WHY have you not be sharing this. See its Him.. His presence when you can see. You see how the world comes in so fast and takes this.

Opps.. yeah sorry well not but.. I lol I did get lost here... I was sitting here thinking all this. I love this..

You speak in tongues? What language do you speak? Have you received any special messages?
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit take’s a little faith and a flexible spirit. Salvation’s happens first though. Have you received Jesus as your personal Lord and savior?

What you refer to as an invasion is when God allows people to see truth in scripture and they seek to tell others of it. Natural men do not understand it , until the Spirit works in them. Until then they scoff and speak about the teaching ,blissfully ignorant about what it is.
Are you saying that the Christians who are not calvinists don't have the Spirit working in them?

I just want you to know that until Augustine came along, 400 years after Christ, no one held to this type of doctrine on predestination. Wheres waldo, will the real elect please stand up?

Do you worship a God who is not Sovereign???

Can you even define Calvinism accurately?

They do not identify by that name as they understand they are Christians. When pushed for a label they will use Calvinism, but when people like you do not know what it is, why should they use the label?
I Guarantee, what you offer as an explanation will be a caricature, unless you google it,lol
I have listened to many sermons and debates on the subject, from James White for example. If he incorrectly defines calvinism then I guess thats that.

You guys use the misrepresentation word so much whenever someone says something that logically follows from your belief system.

If I were to say: God played lottery in heaven and decided who willl be saved and who isnt, since it has nothing to do with the person, its purely grace.
The calvinist would be up in arms screaming MISREPRESENTATION!!! and they would say the exact same thing I said, with more scholarly and fancy language, for example: "God chose to save rebel sinners who hated Him, God was so gracious. If God was just He could have condemned them all, but God showed mercy! For grace to be grace it cannot be merited" Ive heard things like this from James White, and when you strip all the fancy language, what it boils down to is: Everyone is totally depraved, not seeking God (even though the Bible says some do seek God and God wants people to seek Him but oh well) but God chose according to the good pleasure of His will to save some. Yet if I call that a heavenly lottery im "mocking" or "Misrepresenting". I just dont see the difference.

It seems to offend those who believe they needed no help from God at all.
I would also add it seems to offend those who believe in free will, and this passage is used to prove there is no free will.

Hello Friend, He loved them. because He loved them, like He said in DEut7;
6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
7 The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8 But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.
We can‘t forget He loved the whole world though. We can’t seperate people. And say God loved them, but he did not love the rest.

God tells us to love our enemy, its kind of hard when God says do as i do. Yet he did not love ALL his enemy as he commands us to

The wording is not conditional, but rather descriptive.ie, if so be that,

ylt....9 I am the door, through me if any one may come in, he shall be saved, and he shall come in, and go out, and find pasture.
But it is conditional

1. I am the door
2. Through me, IF ANYONE MAY COME IN,
3. The one who through me decides to come in will be saved.

Yeah I’m just saying if a person reads the whole letter Paul tells us what can go wrong with what he said in your post there . That’s only one of five chapters of a letter he wrote them the whole letter tells them what’s been done for them first and then tells them what’s also expected of them or else the warning he’s telling them will come

your right it’s there to call people who aren’t living upright to repentance so they receive thier inheritance rather than Gods wrath for the disobedient it’s important to acknolwedge what can go wrong because Christian’s aren’t all walking the walk and need to hear about repentance that’s why Paul put it in almost every epistle like chapter 5 there in Ephesians

“For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:5-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Or chapter 5 of Galatians

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

my point was just to answer your question of what can go wrong with what he says in chapter 1 and 2 ….. it’s written in chapter 5 as a warning that’s always found in Paul’s writings to the church and really all the scripture we believe
But he does not contradict himself

If God is for us, who can be against us. He gave us every spiritual blessing, Evensalvation was a gift.

You can’t earn these spiritual blessing you were given, you also can’t earn the gift of salvation *or etrnal life) you were given. So in essence, since yu can;t earn them to get or keep them, You can not unearn them to lose them.

The bible says this

1. once a person is born again, they are made into a new creature.
2. This new creature was created in Christ Jesus.
3. The new creature has new tastes and what used to taste good now is sour milk, and what used to taste bad is like fine wine.
4. The Bible says that wheoever is born of God CAN NOT live in sin, whoever lives in sin has NEVER known or seen God (the new creation)
5. The Bible also says a dog returns to his vomit. Why? The vomit tastes like fine wine, He was never changed, he is still a dog (they were never born again.
6. It finally says those who were of us, who departed from us and now are against christ, thy were never of us.

So to say something can go wrong AFTER those things are freely given, is not totally true.

A child of God can be chastened, loved blessing, put himself in an area where he is not blessed, and even die the sin unto death being taken home early.

But he will always be a child of God.

You speak in tongues? What language do you speak? Have you received any special messages?
i have been skeptical of this since i was a child, i used to speak in tongues before i understood scripture a little better, one thing i noticed when speaking in tongues is how i could easily slip into a trance like state which as i got older started to feel more like witchcraft, vain babbling and deep meditation. i no longer speak in tongues…

that being said… when i was 11 years old i had cysts on my vocal cords, a few members of my church and my dad laid hands on me, in an instant i felt a powerful rush shoot through my body, i was overtaken and fell to the floor, i remember trying to get up but the presence of God held me down while the prayer continued, i never felt such warmth all through my body and such peace. nobody was praying in tongues but they were praying fervently, binding and loosing…

the next time i went to the doctor my cysts were gone.. praise Jesus

i apologize for losing my train of thought but my point was that i don’t think that “tongues” is a necessity
