This is hilarious. What next? You sure know how to spin the truth, The Lord's Prayer is said by millions of Christians today and has been for centuries. Show us ONE CLAUSE in the Lord's Prayer that is only for Israel.
Hi Nehemiah,

Millions of Christians pray to Mary and have for centuries, so........

The Lord`s Prayer.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
(For all to pray)

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Israel had to pray for God to bring His rule (kingdom) through them in the millennium. For us, Jesus is now ruling in our hearts.)

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (We are forgiven (first) and now we forgive others.)

And do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. (Satan tries to get rid of Israel, whereas for us we stand against the evil as we are in Christ.)

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Amen)

There is a difference here between first forgiveness from Jesus at salvation for our sin, and then the daily walk of forgiving others.

Forgiving others comes out of the love shown us by Jesus in sealing (for those that are converted) us.

It may not happen after we are born again. That doesn't mean we haven't been born again.

What is the context? Daily service or initially being born again?

Hi Nehemiah, Millions of Christians pray to Mary and have for centuries, so........
You are not only being disrespectful to millions of genuine Christians, but you are deliberately TWISTING the Scriptures to justify you false doctrines. You will be held accountable. Praying to Mary has nothing to do with this subject.

(For all to pray). If that is true it already REFUTES your bizarre ideas.

(Israel had to pray for God to bring His rule (kingdom) through them in the millennium. For us, Jesus is now ruling in our hearts.) That is just nonsensical. It is the Christian saints who will live and reign with Christ as kings and priest in the Millennium, not Israel.

(We are forgiven (first) and now we forgive others.) And you said this applied to the Law and not to Christians! After a person repents, they must forgive first in order to be forgiven.

(Satan tries to get rid of Israel, whereas for us we stand against the evil as we are in Christ.) What a silly conclusion. And the Evil One does not come against every believer to do evil? Do I need to quote all the Scriptures about this? That he goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour? Who are told to stand against the wiles of the devil? who are warned about the snares of the devil? Who are told to resist the devil?

Who do you think has caused you to become so confused about such a plain portion of Scripture? And other Scriptures also.

Where does it say that the Body of Christ is on the earth in the millennium?

So, are you saying that Jesus` sacrifice was not enough, so that it is US who must first forgive before He does?

Read the parable Jesus is asked a question , the LORD is asked and answers

Matthew 18:21-32, 34-35 NIV
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

( Listen to the story and ask how it relates to his kingdom )

“Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt. “At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go. ( All his debt is cancelled by the king up front because of the mans repentance and the king's mercy.)

But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded. “His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt.

( Cold blooded huh he's a hypocrite and hasn't learned anything his heart is hard he's selfish even after receiving great mercy he has nine to offer his fellow whom owed far less than he )

When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened. “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to.
In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed
.

( Remember it's already established he cannot pay the debt so it was forgiven up front but now he wouldn't share the mercy and he's recalled and the debt has been re instated now he owes it all and must pay just as he forced the other man to do he have no mercy now he has none )

This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

Belief is when we listen to him hear what he's saying and accept it begin to think it's the way it is so we start to act upon it as if we believe it's all true . Hearing things like this from Gods own word

Matthew 6:14-15 NIV
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

If we don't explain to ourselves why this doesn't apply to believers , but accept it as the truth from God our judge . If we have an unforgiving heart towards people and are a believer , our Gods words should have the power to be true and right so we'll come and change towards what his will is which is that we love each other truly , forgiving is part of real love towards another

John 14:23-24 NIV
Jesus replied, “
John 14:23 NIV
[23] Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching.
. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

1 John 5:1-4 NIV
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

"After a person repents, they must forgive first in order to be forgiven."

Non believers when they are converted to believers after they hear the gospel , are offered repentance and remission of sins in his name . If they believe they are born anew understanding Jesus suffered and died for thier sins and he rose up again for thier justification somthey can live a new life without sin and without condemnation for hier sins which were remitted . Now that they are a believer in Jesus and have no sin , they can come near to him and hear his words of life and good godly judgement such as " since non if you are perfect and sinless , be merciful tomkne another and when you face judgement for your deeds like all men will you will receive the same abundant mercy multiplied as much as God is greater than man

It's only because of his mercy we can be made alive and have our sins remitted and live a new life in his presence at that point we don't want to reject what he's teaching believers we want to come near and listen to our lord and learn from him as children hear and believe their father teaching them .....our foundation should be what the lord taught believers in him always

He's simply accepting what the lord said about forgiveness and not rejecting it based on his own ideas or what he's been told by others it doesn't upset him that Jesus taught his people to forgive others and walk in those acceptable things of God like mercy towards each other as he gave to us all and has for us .

When I hold something against another person I'm holding it against someone Jesus died to forgive even someone I don't really like much of that annoys me.

Following commands isn't how someone is converted. You are preaching works for salvation. There will be fruit from someone being converted.. but that doesn't mean they WILL always forgive others. God wants them to.. they should.. but He doesn't abandon them because they don't.

I don't usually respond to your posts Pilgrimshope because you have baptism for salvation. You say being 'born again' and 'believing on the Lord Jesus Christ' but you've got baptism as the means of that .. . and NOT pure belief on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Anyway... following commands.. any commands.. doesn't matter what they are are not the VEHICLE for receiving eternal life. They are things we are enabled to do AFTER conversion.. by the Holy Spirit's grace.

The only command for salvation is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the will of the Father at first.

End.
