Harley-Davidson Facing Boycott over DEI Pride Events FOR KIDS
by Olivia Cook | Natural News
July 30th 2024, 6:31 am
Motorcycle company goes the same gay route as tractor manufacturer John Deere recently went.
If it's American, it's probably gay.

Iconic motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson is facing criticism from conservative groups for its promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies, including supporting Pride events that target children.

The company, which generates $6 billion annually and is known for its tough, rebellious image, is under fire after critics highlighted its DEI initiativesand urged riders to boycott the brand.
Robby Starbuck, an online influencer, has been very vocal about exposing Harley-Davidson’s support for various progressive causes, including policies on transgender care for children, critical race theory and prioritizing minority groups in business.
This backlash is similar to those faced by other companies, like John Deere and Bud Light, which have been criticized for their support of LGBTQ+ and other progressive causes which harm consumers and turn them away.

Supporters of DEI initiatives argue that they help increase the representation of women and ethnic, sexual and gender minorities in the workplace. However, critics view these efforts as “Tokenistic” and believe they disproportionately impact straight White men.
Starbuck, a former House candidate for the Republican primary in Tennessee, expressed his concern, stating that Harley-Davidson seems to have lost touch with its core customer base. He cited several examples of the company’s actions, such as supporting the Democrat-sponsored Equality Act, funding Pride events and requiring employees to undergo LGBTQ+ ally training, among others.

According to Starbuck, Harley-Davidson’s CEO Jochen Zeitz has pushed the company towards a more progressive stance, including a commitment to DEI policies. These efforts have included forming partnerships with organizations like the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and the Human Rights Campaign and supporting initiatives like the “United for Equity” program by United Way. The company has also introduced employee resource groups that focus on gender, race and sexual identity.

Starbuck encouraged conservative customers to voice their concerns and consider whether Harley-Davidson’s values align with their own. He suggested that consumers use their purchasing power to support companies that reflect their values and avoid those that promote ideologies they disagree with.
Harley-Davidson has been a symbol of freedom and rebellion for over a century. Known for its iconic motorcycles and the culture of independence it represents, the brand has attracted a diverse group of riders who value the open road and the sense of adventure that comes with it.

Many customers alienated by Harley-Davidson’s new direction
There are mixed reactions to Harley-Davidson’s actions. While some people support the company’s efforts to be more inclusive and diverse, others feel alienated. Social media has played a significant role in spreading both support and criticism, showing how public opinion is divided on this issue.
Harley-Davidson has not publicly responded to criticisms but the controversy reflects a broader trend of conservative-led boycotts against brands that support progressive policies. While some customers may find Harley-Davidson’s DEI efforts uncontroversial, others feel alienated by the company’s direction, The situation highlights the challenges companies face in navigating social and political issues in today’s divided climate.
As Harley-Davidson navigates this controversy, questions remain about how it will balance its traditional image with new social responsibilities. The company is at a crossroads – trying to reconcile differing viewpoints among its customer base. Customers are encouraged to express their opinions respectfully, as their feedback is crucial in shaping the company’s future direction.

This was reported a few days ago, and a few days before that the corruption of John Deere company. This is both shocking and sad. That the upper management of these two companies forgot their history and ALSO FORGOT THEIR ACTUAL CUSTOMERS is amazing.

DEI is one of the most corrosive ideologies that has come into existence. Both Cheatle and Harris represent DEI within the government. It began with racist (possibly gay) Obama and has flourished under racist Biden (who is a pervert). So it has included sexual perversion as a part of its agenda, and the promotion of transgenderism to destroy the lives of children and young people. But how and why have all the parents stood by and allowed this?

However not a single corporation or bank or business needed to cater to perverts. Yet many of them did and went broke. Go Woke Go Broke is true. The business of business is to provide goods and services to the general population, or specific segments such as farmers or motor cycle riders. Had they all stood firm and condemned DEI, it could have made a huge difference.

Isn't it crazy that a tractor company selling to farmers has gone woke?
The vast majority of Harley customers and service centers wouldn't approve of the top level of the company. Since the dealerships probably pay to be part of the franchise, many might be intimidated by threat of losing their businesses. I think there's enough customers who would speak out against it. I don't know if YouTube has buried all the responses, but I thought there would be thousands of bikers posting videos of resistance .

Isn't it something how a few political leaders can influence big corporations like these? I'm starting to wonder if they weren't that way already at the CEOs and boards of them. I wonder if the political leaders just emboldened them?

I guess I traded off my Harley at the right time. I won't ever have another one.

Harley dealers have been BEGGING for buyers... sales have supposedly been in a slump for the past couple of years....
This could be the death blow to them.. I fail to understand how companies can so mis-read their clientele.... Tractor Supply had to skid to a stop and backpedal furiously to try to stop their stock from completely tanking after their "woke" agenda was made public... don't know what John Deere is doing....

Go woke, go broke....

No one imagined that idiots would be running these great companies. They have to be totally insane to antagonize the very customers who gave them their business.

This just goes to show that unless a company runs on definite principles, they will do anything to appear like they are sane. That so many American industries and companies shipped their business to China and Mexico (both enemies) shows a complete lack of principles or caring about their employees or their country.
Deere Layoffs Continue, Some Production Moving to Mexico by 2026 (farm-equipment.com)

Americans losing their livelihoods to enrich Mexico, which has helped the cartels destroy the southern border and given millions of ILLEGALS AND CRIMINALS free access to America.

Good timing.
Most companies have a target market.
I seriously doubt if drag queens make up a sizeable part of those who purchase HD bikes. Maybe they are a big seller to tough tomboys, I don't know?

I think that decision just led the small farmer/ landowners to buy from the European makers.
I can't see the lure to spend the extra it costs for made in America, to go to Mexico.
Hopefully, Trump will bring the industries back to our soil again.

I'd love to see the states self sufficient for industry jobs, energy and food.

That's exactly how it should have been all along. Which would have also resulted in goods being exported to other countries, and no trade imbalance.

A drastic solution would be to (1) place a ban on industries moving out of the country, (2) applying huge tariffs on goods coming from those companies which moved out, and (2) shutting down the pipeline from China so that industries are forced to manufacture within the country. For a while there would be shortages, but that would be rectified quickly. The free market would ensure that prices remain reasonable (as long as the market is allowed to be free). And if the government stopped "manufacturing" inflation, that would also change the picture.

it is about Black Rock along with other multinational corporations and meeting ESG targets.

As the shares increase so do the demands.

I think Trump got those first two right in the first term. America had more internal industry than any other in my lifetime.
One thing I'm encouraged by is that post he made about real metal based currency. I hope he's not put through another JFK experience for those comments. He needs the right people around him and just go all out and do it to the max when he's in office.
Let's pray for a metal based currency and that he'd surround himself with people like Roger Stone, Ron Paul and Alex Jones as top personal advisors.

Agreed. The CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency) is simply non-existent currency -- ones and zeros. But it puts all the economic power into the hands of a few central bankers, who do not have the general interest at heart. It is the opposite of bitcoin, which puts the control into the hands of people.

But both are very complicated electronic currencies, which are not suitable for most people. Everyone needs to be able to do cash transactions, and the best system would have been to retain the Gold Standard. So first they did away with the Gold Standard, and now they want to get rid of actual cash so that they can dictate to you, and control your spending decisions.

What happens currency wise will be a good indicator of the coming time of great tribulation and Lord's soon return.

The governments and wealthy are transferring their wealth into precious metals and now Bitcoin.
I don't think crypto currency will even be usable if the internet goes down from WW3.
