But remember, we were talking about Dem voters, not all voters.

Since your link doesn't seem to be working, here's the working link: https://news.gallup.com/poll/642887/inflation-immigration-rank-among-top-issue-concerns.aspx

And you can see that 46% of Dem voters rate quality of the environment as something they're concerned about. Further, this study from Yale: https://www.climatechangecommunicat...american-mind-politics-policy-spring-2024.pdf

found that "62% of registered voters would prefer to vote for a candidate for public office who supports action on global warming. This includes 97% of liberal Democrats, 81% of moderate/conservative Democrats".

And really, the idea that people who vote Democratic don't care about the future is just silly. Dem voters are Americans too and they care about the future of the country as much as Republican voters, Independent voters, and third party voters. Just because some people have different priorities than you doesn't mean they don't care.

Odd, link was working when I shared it. Dems top issues are the economy, and the border. I would guess abortion would figure in higher than climate change. But it certainly isn't a top issue.

And really, the idea that people who vote Democratic don't care about the future is just silly.
Let's change my comment slightly. INFORMED voters would not vote Dem. Christians should never vote Dem. There is no middle of the road Dem party any longer. If you care about the future generations you will not vote Dem.

Thanks for sharing your views. Obviously others disagree, which is fine. :)

Others, yes, Christians, no.
That may be your opinion, but it has no basis in scripture.

Eph 2 8-9: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

Of course John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

And Acts 16:30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

Nothing in scripture about salvation being determined by how one votes. We are saved by grace, not deeds.

If you are a born again Christian you're not going to champion and celebrate abortion as they are doing at the DNC right now. You're not going to celebrate and push gay sex in schools, books that explicitly tell students how to arouse their gay partner, drag queens reading to children, men in women's bathrooms and showers.
You're not going to stand behind schools teaching white children that they are racists. You're not going to support the DOJ labeling parents as terrorists for standing against these issues.
You're not going to support a WH that has a party for transgenders where they bare their breasts on the WH lawn.

Please do not say it isn't happening. I have had it happen to people I know personally. One of which is considering suing the school.

If you are a born again Christian you're not going to support open borders. Right now two women just spoke about their daughters, murdered by illegal men. Weeping they begged people to listen and to vote for closed borders. That didn't include people that have lost their children from fentanyl. Or those that are currently being sex trafficked, women, children that we don't even know where they are.

Open borders affect every aspect of our lives. It will cause the price of everything to go higher. We have no idea who has been let into the country. They take up resources. Playgrounds and sports fields have been taken over to accommodate them. Also already burdened schools have had to take in children that don't speak English and teachers who have no idea what to do with them.

The Bible also talks about unfair taxes on the people. We have people that cannot afford to feed their children because of inflation. I am on a local site where people are surrendering their animals every other day, can't afford to keep them. Many people are barely holding on, living on credit cards to get by. And Harris is talking about more taxes. People can't afford to heat their homes or drive back and forth to work.

No you're not saved by what you do as far as earning salvation. But when you are saved there are things you will not do or support BECAUSE you are saved.

No you're not saved by what you do as far as earning salvation. But when you are saved there are things you will not do or support BECAUSE you are saved.
First, most of what you wrote is not scriptural. As scripture makes exceedingly clear, we are saved by grace, not works. No one is going to the lake of fire because they once voted for a Democrat for Parks Commissioner.

Second, I don't know how much attention you pay to policy and politics, but Democrats do not support open borders, and the border is actually closed now and has been since President Biden's EO.

Third, the people who are struggling to feed their kids are too poor to pay income tax. Plus, the Dems support expanded support for such families, such as SNAP, whereas Republicans do everything they can to cut it and kick people off of it. So by your reasoning, voting Republican means you're not a Christian.

And as I think we covered before, no political party is morally pure and perfect. One could argue that by voting Republican, you are voting for bombing innocent women and children, favoring lovers of money, and denying food to the hungry, and therefore you are not Christian.

But as scripture makes clear, what saves us is faith in Christ and God's grace. So I hope you'll understand me going with scripture over your opinions.

Thanks for explaining.

Expert: US intelligence agencies using psyops to thwart Trump, undermine democracy
Mike Benz, a leading expert on government control tactics, compared the striking parallels between U.S. foreign ‘democracy promotion’ and domestic efforts to undermine Donald Trump's presidency, exposing Deep State manipulation.

https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/...y/?utm_source=most_recent&utm_campaign=canada

The intelligence agencies, the Deep State, the DOJ, FBI, DHS, SS, etc, the media, and the Democrats are all working together to stop Trump from becoming the next president. But will they succeed? God is still sovereign over all. So we shall see the end result shortly.

Hey @Nehemiah6

But let's be honest for a moment. Isn't that the way our political election system has worked since pretty much the beginning? Hasn't it always been the motive of one political party over the other to do what they can to ensure the other party candidate doesn't win? That seems to be basic campaigning since pretty much the beginning of our nation.

Tell me, what is the GOP doing? Aren't they dragging up every bit of possible attack against the Democrats? I've listened to the GOP candidate speak and he doesn't seem to be any different in this regard that you speak of here. He's doing everything he believes will stop anyone, or at least a vast majority, from voting Democrat. Isn't the GOP candidate doing everything that he can to stop VP Harris from becoming the next president?

God bless,
Ted

You said "Let's be honest" but did you tell Kamala and all the Democrats to be honest?

Even liberal media have report on the flood of lies coming out of Harris's mouth. And when those media are forced to note what a serious liar she is, then you are colluding with such despicable people. Christians don't do that.

Mainstream Media Fact-Checkers Rip Kamala Harris' DNC Speech to Shreds (westernjournal.com)
Multiple mainstream media fact checkers, like The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today found Harris’ speech full of lies and half-truths about her own positions and those of Donald Trump on issues like Social Security and Medicare, taxes, abortion and Project 2025.

Hi @ZNP
Yes, how about we stay honest for all our posts?

God bless,
Ted
Yeah how bout we Ted?

Do You intend to vote for the Democrats and Kommiela?

Really, all we need to know about you is YOUR post here:

TedinCarolina:

“P.S. I rather enjoyed the Obama years after the mortgage backed securities collapsed under Bush. He was a breath of fresh air and worked a fairly powerful initiative to bring us out of that with as little long term suffering as possible. I think Pres. Obama really ran quite a fair and equitable and just administration. Was it perfect? Naaaah! These are men we're talking about. Sinners like the rest of us.”

Obama was and is a hateful race baiter, that succeeded magnificently in his primary goal of “transforming the United States of America”.

His goal was to change the greatest nation on Earth and possibly all history, into the absolute horror show America has become.

Hi @PennEd

Yes, as it stands at this moment I will be casting my vote for leadership over the nation for VP Harris. And yes, that is my true testimony concerning how I understand the presidency of Barack Obama. I was there and I lived through it and that's how I feel about his leadership. A much wiser and more erudite man than the current GOP candidate. And in my sight, a much stronger believer in the Lord Jesus.

God bless,
Ted

Hi @Nehemiah6

Well again, let's be honest. That isn't my job to tell anyone in leadership, or who is seeking leadership of the nation, how to act. The way it works in my head is that I watch how they act and then make my choice based on who I believe would be the best leader of those applying for the job.

For me, VP Harris seems to be pretty honest. Now you may not appreciate what she stands for, but lack of honesty isn't a problem for her as it appears to be for the GOP contender. But that's my understanding of what we are being asked, as a nation to decide.

God bless,
Ted
