Howdy Daisy and welcome to the forum.

I have no idea what movies are good, objectively or subjectively, but welcome to the forum anyway.

Hi Daisy, my three top ones, excluding all my Christmas faves, are Ben-Hur w/Heston, Heaven is For Real 2014, and The Cokeville Miracle--which is a true story of God's hand in our lives esp when we 🙏🙏🙏.

I guess Val Kilmer in The Saint doesn't quite fit your parameters? I'd say Roger Moore, but that was a series, not a movie. ;)

This is the last movie my Dad and I watched together.
The very unique Martial art techniques that Denzel studied for months in preparation for this movie are what I taught for many years prior. This was truly a blessing that I was gladly shocked to see . It's hard for me to believe that this was a coincidence.
I was able to identify with and appreciate this character altogether.

Denzel rewrote the script to reflect a Christian perspective. I praised the Lord many times through this movie.
It has some rough scenes, but was my favorite Christian movie by far. Spoiler alert!

My name is Eli.
I have a King James Bible in my possession.

This lady's blind mother reading the Bible was not in the final cut, but is fitting.

At the beginning of the scene he tells the scribe to get a LOT of paper.
Write down every word EXACTLY AS I SAY. Then he quotes Genesis 1:1.....
and this is where the scene continues.

This was one of the songs that I played at Dads funeral. It was one of the songs in the movie as God provided Denzel's character food, new shoes, a place to safely sleep out of the weather as he read his book the Bible and prayed on his mission.

My Dad is in Heaven comforted with the love of God and the cares of this world gone.
