I left my job in South Africa to pursue a teaching position in Doha. I am not happy and I prayed for this opportunity. I believed that it was for me. Until I came. Now all I want to do is go back home. I believe God is teaching me a valuable lesson. To appreciate what I hd at home. A simple life. A home. Husband and my child. Its too hard doing this and all I want it to go back home. Will God be angry at me? Will he help me find anothet job at home. All these questions are overwhelming and I have been crying for 12 days now

No, I don't believe He will be angry if you're honestly seeking His will for your life. So you made a mistake, who hasn't. Don't let it get you down and just keep looking forward.

God does not forsake anyone that calls on God. God is Love, God's type of love is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Come on now, let's reason together. Okay you made a mistake. Look at all the stories in the Bible about Esau and Jacob. It is written that God hates Esua. Not true, God hates our mistakes, bad decisions in going after things to find out it is not good for us. we are to learn from our mistakes. God wants what is best for us all. We the people are wanting, desiring to know what is best for us, and without making mistakes, how else will one know?
As God said to Cain over Able.

Living Bible

4 and Abel brought the fatty cuts of meat from his best lambs, and presented them to the Lord. And the Lord accepted Abel’s offering, 5 but not Cain’s. This made Cain both dejected and very angry, and his face grew dark with fury.
6 “Why are you angry?” the Lord asked him. “Why is your face so dark with rage? 7 It can be bright with joy if you will do what you should! But if you refuse to obey, watch out. Sin is waiting to attack you, longing to destroy you. But you can conquer it!”
Therefore see to stay in belief to God to learn willingly from any and all mistakes made and not get controlled by others in this adventure here on earth first.
Phil 3
Be willing to God to learn and see new in truth that God only knows best for us all each personally. Okay as you get a way to get through it not seeing yet are given it, by God for you

If you don't feel comfortable or happy, then the healthiest and most logical thing is to leave that job and go back to where you feel truly happy. I don't think God is going to be angry, nor that you should feel afraid or sad about it, every day people leave their jobs or get fired, whatever. I also don't think you made any mistake when accepting the job, it is normal to seek professional development, even in another country, but perhaps you did not calculate things correctly and did not take into account the sacrifices that this step would imply. Perhaps because you were convinced that this job was for you, you did not consult with God enough and made a decision guided by your own desires.
To me it sounds more like a lesson from God, since because of your desires and professional aspirations you left everything you had, even family and child to pursue that dream. So, pray, ask God to reveal to you what the purpose of that experience is and what path you should follow.
Probably when you return to South Africa it will not be easy for you to find a job or who knows, maybe God will help you with that too.

Welcome, Algery! I'm an old guy and have made many mistakes throughout my life. I recently relocated and it was the first time I really listened for our heavenly Father's input. In the past I mostly followed my own thoughts on where to live, even if I didn't realize I was doing that at the time.

Talk to your husband and ask him to bring you home. Apologize as needed and confess this to God too.
He will forgive you, especially if you made >This< decision.
I just prayed for you and hope you'll check back when you get back, with a testimony from you and your husband.

Dear sister Algery ,First I noticed you stated that you were not yet saved. Jesus loves you sis!!! There is no need for you to cry, rather be comforted in first receiving Jesus as your savior and best friend because he truly is!! I myself sister understand because I made some bad choices as well in my life!

The grass looks greener on the other side we look to make, only to find after we cross into it, the land turns to sand, and we begin to sink! Tears I have learned change nothing, BUT!!!!! LOOKING unto our Jesus for help and then just wait till you hear from him does help!! Believing is not just a word Sis; it is an action associated with our belief!!

We don't give up but rather move forward!! THAT!!!!! is faith! Jesus LOVES YOU!!! PERSONAILY!!! Let him!! You have both my love through our blessed Jesus as well as my prayers! Faint NOT!!! and FEAR NOT!!! ONLY BELIEVE!!!(Mark 5:36)

Notice something Sis, Jesus only took those who believed with him!! So, we believe and even better we receive!!! May the blessing of our Lord make you rich in both faith and abundance (Proverbs 10:22)!! And may he add NO SORROW to it!! Blessing sis! Your brother in Christ mark

Hi welcome to the fellowship and fun at CC Algery! Re your situation, it sounds like the Holy Spirit wasn't involved in your decision to move to Doha, so either way, God is most merciful. No need to be sad or cry, make arrangements and move back with your family. You will get a good job, God does above and beyond what we ask or think. So glad you're here, God bless your family and your futures🌹🙏✝🔯
